My husband and I really had higher expectations but ultimately left a bit disappointed. We had been wanting to try this place so we came on a Friday night. I made reservations and we were seated right away... directly next to a table where a child was practically sitting in my seat (it was wall bench seating) even though there were plenty of other tables available. I had to even move the table so I wasn't sitting right next to him. Not 10 minutes later, he spilled a glass cup of water and I got soaked. Our server took a very long time to come grab our cocktail order. This was the trend for the rest of the evening. We ordered a Harvest Fire Sangria and Rhythm Is Gonna Get Ya and she came back to tell us that the drink my husband ordered (sangria) wasn't available. So he had to pick something else that he really wasn't in the mood for: Gourdous Old Fashioned. But generally, the drinks were made well and tasted good! The highlight of the evening was the charcuterie board. Wow! It was impressive and all the meats and cheeses were amazing! It came with a lot so we took home what we couldn't eat. They brought us more bread so we could add it to our box. We then ordered our entrees: Short Rib Cavatelli and The Brick Burger. Again, generally tasted good but pretty unremarkable. My husband commented that the pasta was pretty al dente. The burger toppings were interesting and good, but otherwise a plain burger and fries. We wanted to end our night with a couple more cocktails, and it took so long for our server to come back around. But there was live music, and they were great, so we decided to stick around until she decided to come check on us. All in all, it was okay. But I was expecting more. In town during Spring Training, coworkers and I came by to check this place out for lunch. We've been to other nearby restaurants, so we thought to mix it up and give Brick & Barrel a go. It's in Jupiter Town Center/Abacoa area. It wasn't busy when we came by, so we were able to choose our own table. Not a large lunch menu, delay in our drink orders because the server spilled the drinks on the way to the table. One of us, not me, never tried poutine before, so we decided to order the mini-poutine as an appetizer. It was just ok. Fries were fine but the cheese curds were quite cold and the gravy wasn't that hot to melt the curds. As for my lunch, I decided to order the Brick Burger, it was just ok as well, not much to brag about. 2 bacon strips, bacon jam, and goat cheese with your burger, comes with a basket of fries. My coworkers got the crispy chicken sandwich, they had no issues with that. Service was ok, prices are what we thought it would be for dining out. My husband and I shared two appetizers and a burger. The appetizers were Jamaican Jerk wings and roasted Brussel sprouts. The wings were absolutely delicious...the jerk was not too spicy at all. The brussel sprouts were roasted with pieces of bacon. Also tasty, but a little undercooked for our taste. The burger was cooked perfectly and it was juicy and hot. The smell and sight of the smoker outside the restaurant is what drew us in on a gray Sunday afternoon. My husband and I both wanted items from the smoker, so I ordered the Reuben, which had some smoked brisket in addition to pastrami. My husband ordered the smoked Philly cheese steak. Both sandwiches were excellent! When I ordered, I asked for no cheese and sauerkraut on the side, both of which came on top of my sandwich. I'm not a big fan of sending food back, so I just removed them myself. However, we were literally one of two tables in the entire restaurant, and considering our waitress did not write our order down, it's always a little annoying when it comes out wrong. read more

We came here for a drink and appetizers after attending the "Jupiter food, wine and spirits" event. We were immediately greeted and seated. They had some pretty awesome specialty drinks. Mine was a lavender gin drink that was delicious. The waitress was super sweet. They charged an extra $2 for extra bread with the feta app. I wish they would have said it was extra when she asked if we wanted extra. Having never been there I would have not ordered it and waited to see what arrived. The poutine was amazing. I have never had it before though so nothing to compare it to. The small charcuterie plate was not worth it at all for the price. It had some nice picked veggies, but we did not want veggies The feta was pretty decent, it had the consistency of hummus and had pistachios on top. The bread was burnt on the edges. Found this little brunch gem while finding a place close to the Roger Dean Stadium. Food presentation is on point! We eat with our eyes first, and it's not going unnoticed. Service was not the fastest on our visit, I can tell they can use a few more extra hands. But food was delicious, and fairly large portions. Good menu selection. Brick & Barrel has a fun cozy, welcoming atmosphere, could see myself coming back for a date night. The scotch egg is so good - if you've never had it you should try it. It's worth it. The jazz music (live!) Was perfect for a date night, the music didn't overpower the night and allowed you to actually hear the people around you. And the service was stellar. Every recommendation was on point. Apps: Scotch egg - it's delicious Main course: Beef short rib was amazing. Greens and grains salad was one of the best I've had - delicious. Fries because why not? (Prob didn't need them though) I'm not a huge drinker but the cocktails here are unreal. The "Yes we have that" espresso drink is my favorite. Chess cake for dessert - resembled indian flavors but wasn't overpowering or overly sweet. Definitely a great spot in Jupiter and even better for a date night. I went on a dead Tuesday afternoon and sat outside. Service was a little slow, which surprised me because there was maybe 2 other people in the whole place, but I wasn't in a rush. The baked brie was phenomenal. Flakey crust and delicious rhubarb jam inside. 10/10 honestly. The Brussels sprouts were supposed to have bacon in them (I thought), but I couldn't find any. My loss. It does not have a very extensive menu, but what it does have is unique. It is a very interesting place. They were incredibly welcoming and had live music, but the musicians were unable to play a lot of the songs requested. There is indoor and outdoor seating, although we went through the wrong door and waited around a few seconds until another person told us to go to the front. The hostess was on her phone most of the time, although it was pretty dead when we went so I understand the boredom. It is a cute little place and I will probably go again, just not anytime soon. If you like whiskey or bourbon though, this is definitely a place to go to. If they ever do a brban tasting menu then I would definitely show up for that. read more

Great place in the Albacoa Town Center with solid happy hour specials. They only had eight beers on draft, but have several others in bottle or a can. I had the mini charcuterie bowl as a happy hour appetizer. It was fantastic, but just a tad less appetizing because it was served in a bowl and not on a charcuterie board or plate yeah it was hard to beat the price at $8. I finished up with their french fries poutine. A little disappointed in this as it lacked in the flavor department and the cheese curds were really cold. Very tasty place! All of the food was outstanding! From the chicken and burger to the short rib, pork chop and stroganoff. Great portions and very taste. Pork chop is huge! Very good but the farro it sat in was very salty. Only food complaint here. HH old fashions were super good and I also got the purple rain which I wouldn't do again. The lemon foam smelled weird but probably because it's egg whites. Great atmosphere, clean bathrooms, wonderful live music accompanies the tasty food. We went in the weekend with friends. We'd been sometime ago and really enjoyed; I guess things change. We sat outside which was fine. One had the Rueben and really liked it; another had the wedge salad which wasn't a wedge it was Romain; another had the smoked philly cheese steak which was way over smoked and rubbery, fries were ok; I had an entree salad which had shrimp that needed another minute or so they were still a bit clear/gray,mixed greens, beets, goat cheese with goat cheese vinaigrette that was nice, sadly much of the lettuce was rotting some brown wet some black rotten to smoosh. Our server Ashley was nice, once we got the food we never saw her for drink refills or to show her the dead salad. At the bill delivery there wasn't any interest on her end. My old fashioned was mostly simple syrup. It wasn't a good dining experience this time and doubtful any of the group would go back. read more

Having been to the original location in Lake Park, my hopes were high when my fiance and I went to the new Brick & Barrel Gastropub in Abacoa, Jupiter. We were happy with our first experience at the new location that used to be Aaron's Table and Wine Bar. The owners at B&B have done a fantastic job taking their approach to gastropub cuisine to a space that is in demand in the area. I really enjoyed the mahogany-wood bar area and racks of wine that display in the storefront windows. Starting with a neat pour of the Four Roses Single Barrel bourbon, which was very enjoyable and smooth, I enjoyed the 13-Minute Scotch Egg that was so savory and delicious. The Pork Schnitzel I ended up receiving two meals from my experience due to the large portion they give you. Breaded and fried to perfection and topped with capers and a fried egg, the schnitzel was magical. Very magical. I did not leave B&B hungry; that's for sure. I left B&B with leftovers because the schnitzel was filling as fuck. B&B tends to do a rotational menu at the moment, so what is available when you go on one occasion will not be the case necessarily on the next go-around. However, your order will be excellent because the kitchen staff does an exemplary job churning out the menu items. Moreover, the cocktails were also delicious as my lady enjoyed a gin-based drink that was satisfying. The table server was amiable and accommodating who recommended the broccoli and cheese after finding out the potatoes side was no longer available. We were able to find a table without making a reservation -- granted, we came to the restaurant at 8-8:30 at night when the dinner rush was calming down, but there were a few tables available inside and outside on the patio. My fiance and I will return to enjoy the tasty cocktails and whiskey options, as well as the tantalizing cuisine that B&B offers. We had an early dinner or late lunch yesterday. Pretty empty around 5, got busy around 6. It's located in the corner next to the Publix parking lot so that was great! Inside it was a cool atmosphere, good size bar with lots of different drink options! We started with an old fashion (very good), and the poutine (delicious). I had the fish and chips, it was HUGE! The fish was flaky and batter was thin so it was really good. My hubby had the major stroganoff, meat was cooked perfectly and he loved it. We ended the meal with the donuts, it was really good, came with a white dipping sauce, would of liked some chocolate one too!
