We came for a lunch special. $6.99 lunch special when you order a soda or tea. We ordered the smashburger with FF and the wings with Carolina sauce and FF. Both items were delicious and totally filled us up. Ordered arnold palmers to drink. Maria our server was so nice and totally attentive. Friendly and sweet too! A great experience. Come and get your lunch special Monday thru Friday and support local businesses. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also the music was relaxing and perfect volume, dining area clean and the bar is really nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everything looks kind of new.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We will be back!

Second time for lunch recently with clients as it's convenient to our office. If you are on a time crunch, table service may not be the best bet. Seemed like the bar area service was moving along a bit quicker. Got the fish bowl both times, huge portion and tasty. Presentation was on point, everything looked perfect, the others got the poke bowl and chicken salad. All seemed satisfied. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Bathroom stalls definitely needed some attention!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely a solid lunch spot.

Came to Jumby Bay Island Grill for the first time recently, and it was good! We came on a Saturday night and were surprised that it wasn't too crowded, though it did get more crowded later into our meal. There are lots of restaurant and bar/brewery options where Jumby Bay is located, so there's definitely a lot of competition in the area. One thing I want to commend Jumby Bay on is the quite extensive menu. You can get burgers, sandwiches, wings, seafood, other island food options, and more. There's truly something for everyone. I decided on the Hangover Smash Burger which came with bacon, cheese and a fried egg. The burger was good. I really enjoyed having the egg on it, and the bacon was yummy. The burger patties themselves were good but they could've used a bit more of a flavor, which I can't quite put my finger on. Our food came out quite quickly, and the service was great overall!

Delicious ahí tuna blt. Excellent calamari and Ceasar salad. Fabulous friendly service and very reasonable prices! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Can't figure out why there's not a crowd fighting to get in here. It seems that the rush must come at night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommend!!

Had an early dinner at Jumby Bay in Abacoa, Jupiter. This shopping area is right next to FAU (Florida Atlantic University) and it has many shops, restaurants, concert stage, etc. Parking is free around the shopping center as well as in a nice covered garage. They have many specials to choose from... Weekdays until 7pm: Doubles for the price of a Single Monday Night: Dollar Drafts Tuesday Night: Tacos & Tequila Wednesday Night: Flip Night Thursday Night: Ladies night Friday Night: Live Music & DJ Saturday Night: Live Music 6pm / 9pm DJ 'til close Sunday Night: Reggae Night & $4 Rude Bwoy We arrived around 3:30pm, too early for their 4pm Happy Hour (where all the appetizers with a happy face on the food menu are $8) so we ordered a chicken nacho. The plate was large, the chips were not oven baked, but drizzled with lots of cheese sauce. The tomatoes and jalapenos were very fresh. Not bad. At 4pm, we ordered the Sesame Ahi Tuna HH app and it came with 4 pieces. They were good as well. COCKTAIL HAPPY HOUR is EVERYDAY 4-7pm Double cocktails in a tall glass for price of single - All day every day until 7pm FOOD HAPPY HOUR is $8 select appetizers - Monday - Friday 4:00-7:00pm.....including Wings, Sesame Seared Tuna, BBQ Chicken Quesadilla, Chicka Chicka Fingers and Cheese Fries The food takes a bit long...we waited close to 20 min for the nachos. Our waitress seemed very un-informed and un-trained. But that's fine. Overall a nice ambiance with a hopping bar area and a beautiful outdoor patio.

I've never had a bad meal at Jumby! The food is consistently hot and fresh, and always tasty. The service is hit or miss. The servers are always pretty nice but they can disappear for long periods of time. I've had this experience with multiple servers, so I can't and won't single anyone out, but it is what it is. The vibe is fine, but the booths are incredibly uncomfortable. I always find myself using the pillows for extra comfort. I also want to mention that the Jambalaya, while a cute play on words, is definitely more akin to gumbo than normal Jambalaya. I didn't get it this time around, but it's a tasty option. I think my biggest complaint would be how pricy items are, and the fact that entrees don't come with sides, they must be added on for an additional cost. All that being said, living in Abacoa, I would say Jumby is probably the best and most consistent option, food wise downtown.

A better than average lunch & dinner place next to Roger Dean stadium. Extremely friendly staff. They work together very well, helping each other bring the food out in the rush before game time. Next year when we come down, we'll go after the Cardinals victory to celebrate!

He always orders the Old Fashion which is served with a large square ice cube... He swears this is the best Old Fashion he can find. I had a Fresh IPA which came in a tall can. The wings are by far some of the best wings ever... crispy outer coating and tender wings inside - very generous sized wings... they come right off the bone...served with carrots and celery and sauces. The burger was 2 patties with cheese and some kind of sauce - delicious. The fries are crinkle cut - also good. We were very content with our meal. The service is consistent, bartender talks to everyone, takes orders quickly as people come to the bar. The restaurant has TVs and a pool table, indoor booths, bar and outdoor picnic tables. The vibe is that of a locals type place with a bar that seats around 15 people, approximately 7-8 tables along the wall that seat 4 at each table as well as additional seating for larger parties. There are also some electronic games to entertain adults as well as kids. Good chill spot!

I went with their signature sweet potato crusted catch of the day, yellowtail snapper, and it was amazing. They also had fresh pressed watermelon for the margaritas, which made them extra refreshing. I made reservations and we were seated right away... directly next to a table where a child was practically sitting in my seat (it was wall bench seating) even though there were plenty of other tables available. I had to even move the table so I wasn't sitting right next to him. Not 10 minutes later, he spilled a glass cup of water and I got soaked. Our server took a very long time to come grab our cocktail order. This was the trend for the rest of the evening. We ordered a Harvest Fire Sangria and Rhythm Is Gonna Get Ya and she came back to tell us that the drink my husband ordered (sangria) wasn't available. So he had to pick something else that he really wasn't in the mood for: Gourdous Old Fashioned. But generally, the drinks were made well and tasted good! The highlight of the evening was the charcuterie board. Wow! It was impressive and all the meats and cheeses were amazing! It came with a lot so we took home what we couldn't eat. They brought us more bread so we could add it to our box. We then ordered our entrees: Short Rib Cavatelli and The Brick Burger. Again, generally tasted good but pretty unremarkable. My husband commented that the pasta was pretty al dente. The burger toppings were interesting and good, but otherwise a plain burger and fries. We wanted to end our night with a couple more cocktails, and it took so long for our server to come back around. But there was live music, and they were great, so we decided to stick around until she decided to come check on us. All in all, it was okay. But I was expecting more. I'd probably just come back to try more cocktails.

I only had breakfast that morning, skipped lunch because I was busy with work and was really looking forward to a yummy burger! When I got to CG, we placed our initial order and I ordered the blue cheese stuffed burger in the picture. We sat down and waited. My daughter's grilled cheese came out and we were told the burgers were cooking. She devoured her grilled cheese and said she wanted a second one because she was still hungry. We went up to the counter and she ordered a second grilled cheese and we also ordered zucchini fries as well as sweet potato fries. Once we placed the second order, we sat down. She got her grilled cheese pretty fast. Then my boyfriend's Burger came out. He ordered the Philly burger and he demolished that. Then the fries came out and my burger was still missing. We were told that it was cooking and it would be out shortly. Meanwhile, my daughter, and my boyfriend both finished their dinners. My burger finally came out, and it was nothing like the special was supposed to be. It came out hockey puck style, the meat was gray in the middle, the egg on it was overdone, no stuffing and no blue cheese to be found at all on it. I sent it back stating it was not what I ordered, and the girl took it in the back. The girl then came out with the same exact burger and a side of blue cheese crumbles. I guess they expected me to put blue cheese crumbles on top of my now cold burger, again not what I ordered. I handed it right back to her and told her that I wanted a refund. It was not what I ordered. It is now cold. I was very much looking forward to that burger. I have had blue cheese stuffed burgers before and they are normally delicious! The girl at the counter told me she could not refund me, so I asked for a manager. The manager came back out and the girl showed her my burger. She asked me what I ordered, and I pointed to the sign and said I ordered the special. She totally agree with me that it was not what I ordered and then offered to make me the burger that I did order. Now, my family was already done with their dinner and waiting to go home (mind you, we were now there almost an hour with no one else in the place except for us). I just told her I wanted a refund. I went home hungry, did not eat since breakfast and was super disappointed!

We met friends here to catch two bands--Love Medicine and Smokin' Renegade--and the timing couldn't have been better. The FIFA third-place match was on when we arrived, happy hour was in full swing, and the place had a lively, energetic vibe. We took advantage of the happy hour menu and shared the ahi tuna, boneless wings with blue cheese, and calamari. The prices were great, but the food was a mixed bag for me. The ahi tuna was fresh but much saltier than I prefer. I'm pretty sensitive to salty foods, so that may just be my palate. The wings and calamari were fine for sharing, but honestly, the live music was the real star of the afternoon. I skipped the cocktails and enjoyed a Diet Coke while everyone else sampled the drinks. Love Medicine kicked things off with a fun set, and it made it even more enjoyable because one of our friends knew many of the band members. It was amazing to hear that they have careers as a lawyer, doctor, physical therapist, and more, yet still find time to perform together. Then Smokin' Renegade took the stage and absolutely rocked the place. Their set was packed with classics from Styx, Boston, and Foreigner, and the lead singer was phenomenal. He has one of those big, powerful voices that could easily fill a much larger venue. Even though the restaurant was packed, the staff kept everything moving smoothly, and we never felt forgotten. Another plus? Plenty of parking, which is always appreciated. I'd come back again for the music in a heartbeat. If you enjoy classic rock, a high-energy crowd, and a neighborhood spot that knows how to host live entertainment, Double Roads delivers. Even the hallway to the restrooms had a lot of interesting art work and such. Take a look and you won't be sorry!
