I showed multiple reference pictures of exactly what I wanted, including the length, and what I ended up with looks nothing like it. My biggest issue wasn't just the nails themselves -- it was the experience. I felt rushed the entire appointment. When the nails were made too short and I asked for them to be corrected, the fix was poorly done and the nails weren't even properly filed afterward, leaving them looking uneven and deformed. I paid $80 total, including an extra $15 to correct a mistake that should not have happened in the first place, and honestly I left feeling robbed and uncared for as a customer. It felt more like rushing through clients for money than caring about the quality of the work or customer satisfaction. I will not be returning. You can say I'm a bit of a pedicure junkie because I get one every other week during the summer (even though I don't need one lol). It's just the notion of getting my feet cleaned and thoroughly scrubbed is what I enjoy. The pretty polish change is the icing on the cake. I stopped by Walgreens when I saw a nail salon sign near by that said 'spa pedicure 15$ mon-thurs'. 15$? Whoa that's a steal! I thought :) I walked right in and sat for their pedicure. I wasn't expecting much for a $15 service because I usually pay $25-30 for pedicures in this vicinity. Well, this place is pretty darn comparable to the other nail salons I go to. They didn't skim on service just because the price is low. I got a good cleaning, massage, and polish application. I'll definitely be back to take advantage of their pedi special. read more

I had an appointment, when I showed up I waited 20 minutes before I started getting my nails done. Another lady came in and as soon as she came in, the lady doing my nails rushed and took less than 5 minutes applying the nails, acrylic and even filing them. My cuticles were rammed by an an electric file, even when I flinched she kept going. I'm really disappointed bc my sister in law got her nails done too, & they weren't even as bad as mine. I will say the other lady who did my toes did a good job w patience and time. read more

$15 pedicures M-Th but you get what you pay for. I come here because it's close to home and the price is great for Seattle but it's neither great nor disappointing. The owner is extremely friendly but the pedicures could be better. The nail polish ends up chipping after a week and they don't really spend a whole lot of time pampering your feet. read more

This is going to be a mixed review. I had been here once before about 6 years ago and they did a really great job on my feet and I got one solid color on my toes. I went today I got there at 1:48 and I asked how long is the spa pedicure because I needed to be home by 2:45 she said 30 minutes so I estimated to 2:20. She said that they could have me done for sure by 2:30 I said that's cool because I live about 10 minutes away. So I told them I wanted French tip they said okay fine. WE GET STARTED!! EVERYTHING IS GREAT!!!! (Besides the fact that the tech had the water too hot) I get offered a bottle water, they have free wifi, the nail tech is REALLY working the heck out of my toes!! I'm loving it because in the location you wouldn't expect that. Continuing I look at the time and it's 2:15 and I'm like okay you haven't even started putting paint on. So I remind her that I have to leave soon and she starts painting okay....this is probably the worst paint job that I've had done at a nail shop. My tips are uneven and very square after I told her 3 times to file the edges to make them more rounded and thin out the tip. It's just a really bad paint job and I ended up getting out of there at 2:41 so I got home late and my husband got to his appointment late. The reason why the review is mixed is because everything was great but the paint job. I believe that I may try them out one more time but request a different person. I'm not sure though. I have mixed feelings about this place since this was my 1st time here: Pros: Close to my house Price was good. $15 pedicure Mon-Thur. $20 Fri-Sat Lady that did my pedicure was really nice Pedicure was good and she did a good massage Cons: They open at 10AM but no one was there until 10:40. She was talking on the phone almost the whole time and it felt like she was rushing. Told her I needed to be outta there by a certain time but there was still an hour left. The place looked really dirty (floors were filthy, cabinets/ drawers were dusty, towel she had me sit on was stained, massage chairs were torn and duck taped, and massager was not working. Was charged 50 cent credit card fee even though I told her what amount to charge. I guess I should have been specific and told her that amount included tip and fees. I will try any place once if the price is right, but will only come back if experience is good enough. I should have left after seeing the place but I didn't have any time to go elsewhere. The lady who did mine was not very good. While trying to get all the dead skin removed, she basically used the tool on my entire foot (even on the soft parts). I have raw spots on my feet now that are incredibly painful hours later and bits of skin now hanging off. Can't remember her name but she was a younger one. If you get her, be careful because she didn't seem to care that my entire foot didn't need skin filed off - she didn't feel it all the see if there are calluses, just went ahead and did it all. OUCH. Would give 0 if possible. Also went in obviously pregnant and she turned on the massage chair to a beating motion that was shaking my entire stomach. I turned it off and 5 min later she turned it back on and I had to be like, "uhhh no? I'm pregnant and the beating against me and shaking is damaging?" Clueless. read more

The nails were alright, nothing super special, i asked for a nicer glitter design, showed a picture and she said shes not able to do that....? Ok... can someone else here do this for me?.... "No cannot do dat, this one be pretty" were her exact words. I would understand If it was some special A class design but it wasn't complicated at all.. for that same reason, I decided not to tip, gave them my card, next day I check my balance they charged an extra 15 dollars... the total was supposed to be $25 exact and it came out to $40??? I called to complain and ask why they did this she said nobody charged me anything extra and to call my bank because they messed something up.... Ok had the same bank account for 7+ years and never had any extra/overdraft fees. Dont come here!! read more

I think they are a good value place to go. I have been here off and on for years and have had various services done. My one word of warning is that their spa chairs you sit in to have a pedicure are supposed to massage you, but they gave my friend and I horrible back pain and we are both in our 20s. I think they could definitely up their game as far as atmosphere and skill level. But then they would probably charge more so it's a give and take. read more

I have mixed feelings about this place only because I love the owner so much. Lynn herself, it feels like, does all the work in the salon. She is surrounded by a few older women that just seem to sit in the corner eating and watching tv. And when I have ever had them do my nails they move painfully slowly and do a messy job. More times than one I have left with uneven acrylics, with them all different lengths and horrible paint jobs. But I would come back just because they are the closest to where I live and Lynn always moved very quickly. I believe the last time I went will be my last time, I did not have Lynn but I had a younger girl who cut one of my nails so short that when I pointed it out she just did the same length to all of my nails instead of just adding more of a tip to the one nail. And she saw a few of my acrylics were peeling, instead of taking the old ones off she just filled them in. And of course a day later they began peeling off again. I am just tired of giving chances and hoping it will work out when I've gone to other places, paid a little more and had an excellent job done. read more

So I was checking out nail salons in federal way and decided to stop by after reading a lot of positive reviews. I admit that I'm pretty picky about my nails but I like them to look nice. I had gotten a fill for my acrylics and French tip shellac over the top. The lady doing my nails wasn't very talkative and extremely rough. She made 4 of my fingers bleed above my cuticle. The salon wasn't very clean. She failed to remove all of the previous color I had on my nails so you can see it all through the clear coat. The tips were poorly painted on. Also didn't remove the excess shellac off of the skin around my fingers. Very poorly done. I will not be going back or recommending anyone to go here. read more
