I had one of the best pedicures I've had in years at Ruby's Nails. I stopped in as a walk-in and Ruby, the owner, personally completed my Volcano Spa Pedicure with gel polish. What impressed me most was the attention to detail. My nails were thoroughly cleaned, trimmed, shaped, and cared for rather than rushed through the process. The scrub, paraffin treatment, hot towels, and massage were excellent, and the massage was a true massage rather than a quick lotion application before moving on to the next client. The salon was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Ruby was friendly, professional, and genuinely focused on providing a quality experience. Even though they were busy, I never felt like I was being rushed through an assembly line. While I did not receive nail art myself, I observed a manicure being completed and the work was beautiful. It was obvious that attention to detail and craftsmanship are important here. I left with beautiful Rock 'n' Rose gel polish and feet that feel better than they have in a long time. The quality of service, attention to detail, and customer care were outstanding. I am giving this nail shop five stars. It was very peaceful and they did a great job. They do nails feet eyebrows and eyelashes. I would recommend this place. They were not that expensive. They had wonderful parking and a great team of workers that really care about what you look like and how your nails and feet look I would recommend them to anyone try them you'll love them and don't forget to tell them that Jennifer sent you. This place is an absolute delight!!! I am training in the area and was looking for a place to get my nails done - so I thought I would give Ruby's a try - I AM SO GLAD I did!! They were able to get me right in and had so many choices for nails as well as other service's ie hair ,waxing ,lashes - I was blown away!!! Ruby herself is absolutely wonderful - she did my nails - and the vibe of the place is very relaxing - just what I needed after a long day of work and training !! Was quoted for mani/pedi appointment ... didn't have time so asked for a polish change on hands/feet. While picking out color owner comes up to me to tell me $25 for hands and $25 for feet. I had also already trimmed and filed both hands and feet, so all they would have to do was apply polish and regular polish too, NOT gel or shellac. I declined and let them know that is a complete rip off. I also did nails for 15 years, so I know. These folks are money hungry and do NOT care about keeping clients or treating them well. ONLY MONEY. Plus it's located in sketch ville. Thought my car was gonna get stolen by the many druggies around. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place. read more

I gave it a 2 star because my lashes did not come out how it was supposed to. I went home and my eyes started swelling up. Ruby is good with Nails but not with lashes would not recommend doing lashes. My eyes are very sensitive and how it was done was not right at all. I always get my lashes done but here at this place I would not recommend. Nails are great and service but if you want lashes this is not the place to get lashes done. read more

Disappointing Experience If you can avoid this place, please do so! This was my second visit to this salon, and I went to get my acrylics done. Unfortunately, the customer service, time management, and pricing were very disappointing. My appointment was scheduled for 2pm (I even called earlier to reconfirm because I had another appointment at 3:30pm), but the staff accepted walk-ins right before I arrived, making me wait for 50 minutes and causing me to cancel my other appointment. Despite reminding them that I had booked my appointment a week ago and needed to be somewhere by 3:30pm, they did not seem to care. When it was finally my turn after the long wait, I showed them 2-3 photos of nail designs and confirmed the price for each before deciding on the one I wanted. However, after the price confirmation, when I showed her the design I chose, she suddenly raised the price by $20! When I asked about the price change, she said she charges $10 per nail for the design, even though I chose a very simple design that did not seem worth the extra cost. Overall, if I could give them zero stars, I really would. The rushed and harsh way she finished my set was not worth the money I paid. read more

My first visit was the best experience I could've asked for: great customer service and right on time for my pedicure and manicure. However, my manicure nail polish started chipping off the very next day, but I was okay with it because I had scheduled another appointment for the following week. Unfortunately, this second visit turned out to be the worst experience I've ever had at any nail salon. When the pedicure lady called me to the chair, I dipped my feet into dirty water (presumably from a previous customer) because she waited until I was seated to put on the new disposable blue cover. I told her that I had a lot of dead skin and upgraded to their deluxe pedicure. I was hoping to continue my visits since I had restrictions on my feet due to a severe injury and couldn't walk or take care of my feet for a while. Despite my daughter telling her to be careful because of my injury, the pedicure lady continued harshly and didn't listen. When I explained again that I had a lot of dead skin due to my injury, she rudely commented, "Oh, the way your feet look, you need a doctor visit." I tried explaining again, but she didn't understand and recommended a cream they sell, which I agreed to buy. When I asked her to try and remove as much dead skin as she could, her facial expression changed completely. She then started removing the dead skin with a lot of pressure and ended up actually removing my skin from my pinky toe and heel, which caused bleeding. Despite the bleeding, she decided to wet cotton with an alcohol solution and place it on the cuts, causing intense burning pain that almost brought me to tears. The lady did not apologize or acknowledge the cuts and continued her work. I wanted to leave, but my daughter was getting her nails done for her party, so I stayed calm. I paid $45 for them to cut my feet in two places and be extremely rude overall. Now, my foot is swollen because of how harshly she was working, despite me repeatedly telling her to be careful due to my injury. I will NEVER VISIT THIS PLACE AGAIN! read more

if i could rate under 1 star i would. i called at 4:30 for an appointment at 5 i show up at 5 and they say they are closed but he has another appointment on the books at 6pm? that didn't make sense. he stood there and argued with us instead of trying to accommodate to paying customers. why would you answer the phone and confirm an appointment to tell us when we get there at the scheduled time that you're closed now but then say you're actually busy. i do not recommend. all he did was give a fake apology and he was treating new customers from out of town rudely and turning down money that was in his face. read more
