They were able to fit me in, and Nyny completely transformed my nails. She took them from looking awful to absolutely beautiful. One thing that really impressed me was how she corrected one of my natural nails that grows curved. She was able to shape it so it looked straight while still preserving the health and integrity of my natural nail. You can tell she truly knows what she's doing and pays attention to the little details. On top of that, everyone at the salon was so kind and welcoming. This place is a total gem! A very comfortable, welcoming and clean environment. While I did come in on a week day I was able to get serviced within less than 5 mins as a walk in. Decent prices for pedicures that were done exceptionally well. Along with Zero upselling or pressure to do any extra services which I feel like is unfortunately a common experience at most nail salons. We ended up waiting until about 6 PM and had Kim and Michelle (who I believe is the owner) do our nails. Before starting, I explained that I wanted gel that wasn't too thick or too thin. Michelle said they had different kinds of gels, and when I asked about the prices, she told me **hard gel was $70** and **builder gel was $110**. I chose the $70 option since it was within my budget. They started our nails around 6:05 PM and finished quickly before closing at 7 PM. Both Kim and Michelle did an **amazing, phenomenal job** our nails look beautiful and professionally done. However, I was completely surprised at checkout. I had gotten hard gel with a cat-eye color, and my total came out to **$120**. I've never paid that much for a manicure before, even my Russian manicures cost less! While I understand some services can add to the price, this total felt unexpected and not clearly communicated upfront. Overall, the quality of work was excellent, but the **lack of price transparency** was disappointing. Unfortunately, because of that, I don't think I'll be returning. The experience and skill were great but the surprise pricing is something I can't justify.

If you have social anxiety or often don't like to have services like hair and nails done due to the social aspect of it, this is for you. She is located inside of Alexis Spa Skincare. She has her own workspace that is basically private. Her area is clean and tidy and well lit. She is very meticulous and methodical as she moves through the service. She's also very gentle and doesn't push you to talk too much. You can tell she really knows what she's doing. This was by far the best and most thorough pedicure I've ever had. Very chill. When you first come in, they seat you and let your service provider know you're here. The waiting lobby is small, but very lush and comfy. The inside is very clean and tidy. Plenty of natural light, but not blinding. The entire time my service was happening, it was silent. She said a few words to me in greeting and started the service. Aside from a few questions and a short getting to know you session, I actually got to sit in silence with no children asking for snacks, no kids tv in the background, no dogs barking, nothing. Silence. IT. WAS. GLORIOUS. If you need a break from heavy people-ing while you just sit back and let someone else make you beautiful, this is the place to be. 10/10 recommend. The ambience was amazing; clean, inviting and the music was great. In addition, for a Friday, it felt like a slow day. The nail techs were polite, but you can tell that they are there to do a job and there's a disconnect on understanding service and why people choose to pay the premium; for the experience. I requested a builder gel fill, easy design and a pedicure w/ gel. They asked if I wanted to get it done at the same time or separate, I always er on the side of whatever is easier for them so their decision was to do it at the same time. The nail tech doing my pedicure was very detailed and took her time, even went above and was starting to give me an amazing foot massage during the sugar scrub- which is one of the main reasons I go; some pampering. However the massage was rocking the chair a bit so the nail tech doing my manicure kept asking her to stop.. the rest of the experience began to felt rushed. My nail tech was filing/shaping and I understand she wanted to do a good job, but at this point I would rather have them perform each service separately so I can enjoy it rather than feeling like a burden. When the pedicure was done, I was asked to move to the other side to finish painting my nails. Again, I appreciate so much how much they care about their work and wanted to do a good job. I asked for an easy design and I can tell it was difficult for my nail tech, she didn't seem 100% confident, but ended up doing a nice job. It just took her longer than expected (she expressed that to her co worker) and so in the end she charged me more for the time. All in all, I paid $160 + tip. $90 for the fill & design, $70 for the pedicure.. Very nice people, very nice place, but service needs improvement for the price. I may give this place another chance if I'm in a pinch, but maybe for something really basic next time.
