Been wanting to come here for the longest! The mole chilaquiles were soo good! And their mimosa flight was amazing!

Came here for Monday brunch. Service was great and environment was inviting. Their margaritas were delicious. I had the Chilaquiles Rojo with birria. Enjoyable?!? It was eatable and not spicy at all. Wish it had more meat. I love Mexican food but this time I ate maybe less than half of my meal. The venue was cute, food looks appealing but don't think I'll be coming back again and if I do it will be for the drinks!

First time trying this restaurant, food was excellent big portions, great prices and great flavors, friendly service, Belen and Alison gave us an excellent customer service above beyond expectations. Definitely will be coming back.

3.5 stars. The phood photographs phantastically, but sad to say that the outside doesn't match the inside. Have you ever met someone who looks really put together on the outside only to get a "taste" of them & the inside and outside just don't match? Well. That was my experience with Madre's. The food looks much better than it tastes but whoever designed the food did a stellar job. If you don't have a picky palate and you are fooled by aesthetics, this place is for you, but I'm an authentic kinda gal. If you look really good on the outside, you better be just as good- if not better on the inside.

Although I had such a fun time with my girlfriends when we went here, I'm not sure I would come back just based on what I ordered and tried at the time. I ordered the birria omelette for $20... I was expecting to be wow-ed, but it was very average tasting. The meat needed more seasoning and the consume was lukewarm. I opted for a side salad instead of beans because I was low-carb at the time, so I appreciated the substitution. I was able to try my girlfriend's chilaquiles and they were okay... I think the plating was beautiful but it needed more seasoning! If I were to come back again, I would try their pancakes because those look delicious! Wasn't ecstatic about this visit.

I was a little worried about this place after reading some reviews in regards the chilaquiles. I Live for chilaquiles ! I came in today, Mother's Day , and there was a wait of course . We waited an hour and 20 minutes and it was worth it ! I ordered the red chilaquiles with no protein and they were actually pretty good ! I notice some reviews state how they were kinda dry and I agree but I ordered extra cheese and red sauce. It helped ! I love how they serve them on top of black beans, which by the way were delicious too! To drink I got a regular cold brew . I love very basic strong coffee! It gave me the energy I needed after eating all those carbs ! We also ordered the French toast and my two year old daughter enjoyed it . They were super thick but we helped cut them. My man ordered something from the American breakfast and he said it was pretty good.. The vibe was pretty chill! I'll definitely come back

Madres is definitely a spot worth checking out. If you're not in bellflower they have 7 other locations it looked like so you're in luck. The majority of the seating is in their patio that is open door. So in the winter definitely dress warmer. The restaurant is super clean and lively. Lots of servers and everyone is super friendly and attentive. Food wise the chilaquiles were really good! Big portion. Just wish there was more chicken. But flavor was solid. The lates were amazing and they have a big menu. They do coffees flights, mimosa flights, and margarita flights so if you're looking to get a drink it's a good spot for a weekend brunch! Overall place was solid. Would definitely come back!

Madres is a nice brunch spot with very accommodating service. The food is pretty good, to me this is definitely a spot where I'd go to treat myself or someone I know. The restaurant is nice, with good music, but mainly outdoors with a patio cover. It was definitely worth the try!

I was here 20 days ago for my birthday and today I introduced my husband and two of my kids to Madres after training! Will be back to try everything else! We had the same waiter as last time and we love him, I hope we had his name right (Keven?) he served my sisters and I for my bday and today he served my husband and our 2 boys

The food was absolutely delicious! My friend had the chilaquiles (verde), it was a little dry, but flavorful. Requested a side of salsa verde & it was great. The churro french toast was UH-mazing. Would definitely order again!!!! We will be back.

Came here for my first time, it was nice inside a little warm inside. Was sat down immediately which was nice. Had a hard time choosing what to eat whether it was sweet or savory. I'm glad I chose the sweet as a friend did savory and I was able to try. I would say I think their sweet is better than the savory dishes. Service was pretty good, had a few mix ups with other tables for drinks and food. Does seem fresh though because it did take awhile for food to come out. I would try again another sweet dish.

The earlier you come, the more dessert options you'll have. They also have all day breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu which I did not try, but everything looked super tasty. I got a few desserts and a matcha strawberry foam latte (they use ceremonial grade matcha) and the biscoff latte. Loved that both weren't overly sweet and the biscoff latte had a rich coffee taste. My favorite dessert by far was the banana mousse. By the time we left, the line was out the door. I was in the area and I've never had a cute coffee with the latte art (so many of my friends are going to roast me for this) When I pulled up -nice private parking -a staff member was outside painting on the windows with the cutest window art. The girl had talent! This place has also given back. They helped with the LA fires last year. So bonus points for places who give back. (They gave back to the Pasadena humane society) There was a pretty big line and it was pretty loud in here, but it went by very fast. My friend grabbed a table while I placed the order. -they do have a good amount of seating. The place is pretty small though. So we sat for a minute after our drinks came out and then decided to take it to go -they have latte art that changes every month. So I like they have some rotating options. It was my turn and I ordered two sugar free mocha iced coffees. One with regular foam, And mine had strawberry foam. When I told Matthew at the counter it was really important the one drink be as sugar free as possible due to my friend being diabetic, he warned us there was sugar in the foam, but he would go as light as possible. So I appreciate him warning us and taking it serious. I picked the new hello kitty art of the month (hello kitty in a bathing suit with waves and dolphins) And my friend picked from the new monthly latte art as well, and got the Kirby character Even though it was busy, it took probably 2 minutes for our drinks to be made Matthew was absolutely great. His energy, he had a smile on his face, was knowledgeable about the menu, Matthew was everything you'd want in a staff member. Just like any coffee place, you pay and give them a name for your order, and then they call your name and you pick up your coffee at the counter. These drinks hit the spot!!! It was very trendy. They had Sabrina carpenter and Olivia Rodrigo specials and they even had a Lana Del Rey latte (cinnamon girl, named after her song) only thing that bummed me out They had a case with delicious pastries. But since I came here later in the day, they only had a couple stragglers left behind -they open at 7 am, for everyone needing their morning coffee -vegan options -free WiFi -woman owned -LGBTQ owned -they give back to the community

I ordered an iced caramel latte, and it absolutely did not disappoint. The espresso was rich and flavorful, while the caramel added just the right amount of sweetness without overpowering the drink. I also loved that they use coffee ice cubes, it kept the latte from getting watered down, and honestly, I thought it tasted even better as it sat. The staff was friendly, and our drinks came out pretty quickly, which I appreciated. The only downside was the atmosphere. It's a very small shop with seating for maybe 20 people inside, plus 4 small two-person tables outside (without any shade). When we visited, almost everyone else was working on laptops, so it didn't feel like the best place to sit and chat. The music was also fairly loud and mostly K-pop, which didn't really match the coffee shops aesthetic and made conversation a little more difficult. Parking was probably my biggest complaint. There are only four dedicated parking spots, and the surrounding residential street parking was completely packed. I ended up parking in the chicken restaurant's lot across the street. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the coffee, it was genuinely one of the better iced caramel lattes I've had. If you're looking to grab a quality drink to go, I'd highly recommend it. Just be prepared for limited seating and a challenging parking situation.
