I had to leave another review for my experience today, I got scheduled with Dr. Chad's associate dentist Dr. Carlson and praise God because I had a crack in my tooth, luckily they got me in ASAP and my experience with Dr. Carlson and Angelica was just so amazing! They both explained everything in detail to me before the procedure and also step by step as we went along. Dr. Carlson's bedside manner was so kind and gentle, it really put me at ease along with the worship music in the background. I also love that he explained he just came from a seminar where he learned new minimally invasive techniques for dentistry that he was able to apply to save my tooth structure and protect my teeth from bacteria I truly appreciate when practitioners take the time to keep learning and stay abreast of cutting edge techniques in their field and pass that on to the patient. It's such a huge benefit. They were both so thorough in their approach with me and as always Ashley was so kind and efficient in helping me get checked out. Going to the dentist when you're older can get a little scary but I always find myself so extremely grateful for Dr. Chad and his whole team! I was under anesthesia for routine dental work. (I have to be heavily sedated for all dental procedures because I suffer from a disability.) Prior to this, I was given an estimate of the work to be completed. The estimate states that the amount may fluctuate, and one will be billed or refunded depending on circumstance. Tomazin, however, decided to perform $2,751.20 of extra work not agreed upon while I was under anesthesia. This was not critical work that necessitated immediate intervention. Also, my medical surrogate was available to make decisions on my behalf while under anesthesia. It had been established during previous visits that the surrogate would be consulted prior to authorizing or denying additional work. In fact, I didn't know additional procedures were performed until 17 days had passed when I received a bill in the mail. The surrogate was never consulted. Thus, I was under anesthesia for a significant amount of additional time, undergoing a significant number of unauthorized procedures, violating bodily autonomy. I am shocked. Someone who I trusted to care for me, a person needing specialized care due to a disability, took advantage. I do not recommend Dr. Tomazin, particularly if you are undergoing a procedure that needs to be done under anesthesia. read more

Was looking for a biological dentist and so glad I found Dr Tomazin! This is the first time in my life that I'm not afraid to go to the dentist! I had so many issues with my teeth and they fixed everything (replaced all of my amalgam filling and 4 crowns) and Brenda (the amazing hygienist) got my gums back in good shape again with the Ozone treatments (amazing treatment...I went from 4-6 to 1-3!) and I wasn't nervous once! I highly recommend this office. Not only Tomazin himself, but his whole team is incredible. The office itself is so nice and welcoming, ladies at the front desk are very knowledgeable and informative. I had a terrible infection from getting my wisdom teeth extracted at a different office. I was sent along my way by the oral surgeon and said everything looks good, despite the pain and apparent signs of infection. I was met with nothing but sincere concern and kindness from this office. My initial rating has everything to do with this dentist because it involves his billing person (Ashley) who represents this dental office and their policies. I still stand by what I wrote. You need to be your own advocate. In fact, the rebuttal response from this office only proves how they treat their patients when there is a disagreement. You attack them and make accusations that I "remained silent" which is completely not true. This was the same angry attitude I dealt with when I called to complain about paying out of pocket when these expenses could have been easily avoided. Their angry response only validates my rating. My dental insurance even offered to do a three-way call with this dental office, yet Ashley said no this offer. My insurance was more than willing to speak with this dental office on any terms regarding potential costs for new patients. Yes, there were discussions regarding possible costs that could or could not be covered, but was I experience enough to know my insurance will only cover one exam per day? Am I supposed to stop the technician from taking Xrays? You are the dental experts, not me. read more

This office definitely takes care of you from the moment you walk in. Disposable toothbrushes in the bathroom so you don't have coffee breath. I trust Dr. Tomazin 100% with my teeth and ultimately my health. He has saved a couple of teeth that other dentists have said I needed a root canal on! He is just amazing. Edit to add: I repeatedly asked for a refund for an overcharged account, was told that refunds aren't given, but would be added to my next bill, and then in my next bill, the refund disappeared. I appreciate Dr. Chad and his team so much. My root canal is failed and I went to my regular dentist who referred me to see Dr. Eftimie.... I went for a consultation and had a really terrible, quite traumatic experience. (side note: if you asking questions about a procedure or surgery TRIGGeRS the doctor: WALK OUT and find someone who welcomes your curiosity and autonomy). After the disheartening consultation I went straight to Dr. Chad's office and let me tell you WHAT A HUGE DIFFERENCE! Ashley at the front desk was so kind, empathetic and helpful. I've struggled with major dental anxiety for nearly 20 years. I explained my anxieties to Dr. Tomazin and his assistant on my first visit. I asked that they note my chart of my concerns so I don't have to give it energy/attention each time. His staff did just that. Now, five visits later, I am ACTUALLY enjoying going to my appointments. Before coming to this office, I had bounced around to 3 different dental offices, none of which made me feel valued. I always felt like I was trying to be taken advantage of with paying for procedures. Since my first visit in this office with Dr. Kim, I have had nothing but great experiences. When he left, I was concerned with who would be replacing him thinking I would end up probably having to find a new dental office again. But I was wrong because Dr. Tomazin has been awesome from the moment I met him. He has always made me feel very comfortable, is always very kind and friendly, and he is a total character which I love because most providers rarely even crack a smile or ask how you are doing (I work in healthcare and bedside manner is always lacking from physicians). I found Dr Chad and his team after watching The Root Cause and researching my own health for nearly a decade. I am 34 years old and every 6 months to a year, I am diagnosed with a new disease or condition. My health is declining quickly and sufficiently. I have/had RA, lupus, celiac disease, thyroid disease, adrenal disease, iritis/uvetits (lost my vision three times recently, viruses, heavy metal toxicity, toxic dentistry, SIBO, infections, the list goes on and on. My life became unbearable. I've had my eye on Dr Chad and his practice for about three years. I wasn't convinced. I no longer trust ANYONE with my health. After doing as much research on him as possible and talking with as many of his patients as I could get my hands on, I finally made the leap. They're changing my life. And I can't be more grateful. We have done the initial exam/rads and treatment plan. We've done the deep cleaning, oral dna swabs and corrected one amalgam filling that came loose. Low and behold they're was a major cavity underneath it and I almost lost the tooth. Dr B and Leonora treated me like I was their child. I was so incredibly cared for and taken care of. My mind was blown. All of them are so gentle in the mouth no matter what they're doing. I had my deep cleaning/dna swab/etc with Gemma and we clicked immediately. I LOVE HER! I have quite a ways to go on my healing journey, but I know with their knowledge, expertise, love and support and extra support from Dr. Mohrdar, I'll be there in no time. I question them, all of them, all the time. I'm difficult. I don't want to throw away any more money, energy or time. I cannot afford it health wise. I bug them all the time. I did my homework. The only thing they don't do (yet?) is galvanic metal current testing. That is something that is important with someone with as sick of a body as mine. It was pioneered and invented by Dr Hal Huggins. Im still on the fence with the surgeries and amalgam removal as I'm being very cautious to control what happens to me from here on out. It has to be done regardless. And even if he doesn't end up doing the current testing, I have never found such an intelligent dentist EVER IN MY LIFE!!! I have severe dentist anxiety as I have be abused by all of them except one. And that one I've been seeing for over 20 years and I'm in this boat... And while Dr. Kim is currently going through some extensive, new, long term training requiring he be unavailable more frequently, he has referred many of his patients to Dr. Chad for follow up. If he trusts and has taken the steps to share his practice with Dr. Chad, I respect his decision. And honestly, since we have met and had services provided with him, Dr. Chad has impressed us with his skill and friendly manner. I have no problem making appointments with either dentist. Dr. Chad's background is notable. Like Dr. Kim, he is another forward thinking medical professional who is a firm proponent of a holistic lifestyle. My daughter recently had Dr. Chad safely remove all her old mercury fillings and replace them with white composite fillings. Besides his experience with general dentistry, he is a licensed, practicing anesthesiologist, and teacher of anesthesia at the prestigious Loma Linda University, a huge benefit if you are one needing a deeper sedation than the typical halcyon type. The office has state of the art technology. I recently needed to have work on some old crowns. To my surprise, there was no two week wait to replace them, and temporaries that might fall out. They produced them while I was still at my first office visit. That is because of the hi-tech "CEREC 3D" which fabricates crowns and onlays in approximately an hour. My daughter and my husband both have been having dental implants done. And these are not produced as one day wonders, as I have heard advertised on the radio by other "wham bam thank you ma'am" kinds of dentists. I feel they are both receiving the most excellent care. They also sell a very impressive collection of oral care products that are top of the line, holistic based, such as oil pulling products, alternative toothpastes using Xylitol rather than fluoride, and teeth cleaning products like OraMD. Since following their recommendations, our already good oral health has continued to improve. Dr. Chad is young (well, he's young to me), easy-going, playful, and has a wonderful demeanor with children. If you are looking for a pediatric dentist, this is a good place to start. The staff really know how to turn what could have been a traumatic experience into something positive and fun. I know, because my 2 1/2 year old grandson has recently gone through his first ever dentist appointment here with no hitches, a smile on his face, and a non-latex glove balloon and a delicious Xylitol sucker to bring home along with his new toothbrush. I have been searching for a good dentist now for a few years. I'm so glad I found Dr. Chad Tomazin! From the moment I called to make my initial appointment, the front desk staff was so friendly and helpful. The systems they have in place like texting and emailing appointment reminders is really awesome.
