During the procedure, she consistently checked on me to make sure I was comfortable and not in pain. Her care and attention truly made a difference. She did an amazing job getting a very stubborn tooth out, and I felt such relief once it was finally completed. Her assistant was also incredibly supportive and comforting, working seamlessly alongside Dr. Nouri the entire time. After the procedure, I was sent home with antibiotics and pain relief medication, along with clear instructions. At my follow-up appointment, Dr. Nouri carefully checked my healing, smoothed out part of the bone graft area, and made sure everything was progressing well. She took the time to explain everything in detail and genuinely cared about how I was feeling. The entire staff was warm, welcoming, and professional. They even found a charm that had fallen off in the chair and kindly texted me to ask if it was mine, letting me know they would safely hold onto it for me. That level of thoughtfulness meant a lot. In my experience with Canyon Crest Dental, they set the bar high compared to other dental offices for number of reasons: * Employees. They have happy employees ready to help. Even when walking in, they are ready to make sure you are checked in for your appointment. They always look polished and professional. They always have a smile and I like that! * Communication. Communication is great. They pick up the phone in a timely manner and help answer your question quickly. And they are ready to follow-up with you. Even by email, they are quick to respond to your question. * Appointments. Scheduling appointments is easy. And they have multiple reminders (e.g., text, email, etc.) leading up to the appointment to ensure your appointment is confirmed. Before I leave, they make sure I already have my next appointment in their system. * Cleanliness. It smells clean upon entering and appears clean as well. The aesthetic already puts you in a good mood even if you're anxious about a procedure. This makes me feel great about coming here. * Comfortable. During each visit, they made me feel comfortable and informed me about what they were doing throughout the process so that I can sit and let them do the work. They make sure you have shades on so you don't get the bright lights or gunk on you. I've also been offered a blanket to feel comfortable and was offered bottled water during my wait. * Professional. The staff wear earpieces to communicate with one another discreetly. It makes for a seamless process as you transition from the lobby to the exam room or to the payment office, etc. The staff is courteous and they ensure you are well taken care of. * Up-to-date. They stay updated with technology so I know they are using the latest and best devices. Even when Dr. Leoni left, they were quick to update their website, in-lobby television ads, and exterior window signage. Overall (and despite the money I've paid), I am a completely satisfied patient and I know I have found a great dental team. I started with Dr. Randal Leoni, who was patient and took excellent care of me and my teeth. I now have Dr. Andy Lou who helps to make sure I have the same great care. Also, I cant understand why there are a few negative reviews about their receptionists. Rita has always been super sweet & I can't remember the other ladies name but they have always been super polite and helpful with scheduling, rescheduling, checking in & helping me get a referral to an oral surgeon. Today was my first visit to this dental practice. With Covid and everything going on, nobody can…read moresee a patient for weeks, if not months. This business is not local to me but in desperation to find someone to look at my tooth, I called them. A nice girl named Caitlin answered the phone and told me they were booked at least a month out. I explained my situation and after putting me on hold, she was able to squeeze me in for an exam within two days. She made sure to tell me they may not be able to perform the work needed right away. Whatever. At least I am moving in the right direction. She offered to email me all forms and authorizations so that when I came in, they could see me right away and not take a bunch of time with paperwork. Super convenient! I wish all doctors and dentists did this. I arrived today for my exam/evaluation at 11am and was greeted at the door with a smile (no pun intended). I did not have a mask and was politely told it was their policy to protect their other patients, which I understand. I literally did not wait more than five minutes until being taken to the back for x-rays. I had Rosanna take my x-rays and she had heard from Caitlin that I was very nervous but not to worry. She originally took x-rays of the tooth in question but decided we might as well go through and do x-rays of all of my teeth. I know they were really squeezing me in but they took the time to go the extra mile rather than have me come back for a regular check-up. She was really nice and efficient. I always waited for her to say "bite down" before biting down. Of course, I failed to do this at the end and bit her finger. I couldn't be more apologetic and embarrassed. She told me she works with kids all the time and has gotten used to it. I now recognize she saw me as a 35 yr old kid, afraid of the dentist office. Afterwards Dr. Tran came in and quickly assessed a cavity as well as two other ones. I knew there were probably a couple others but no pain meant no rush. He recommended we get all three done at one time to limit the visits needed or further complications of them getting worse. He couldn't have been more gentle with my apprehension when looking in my mouth. He came in almost immediately after the x-rays were done. That never seems to happen. I found this practice to probably be the quickest, most efficient, honest and above-all, conscious of my immediate need for help. I understand doctors that do this for repeat patients but to squeeze me in and I've never visited the office before? Unheard of. Not local but I would/will make the drive for this group anytime. From the receptionist to the assistant/hygienist, to the dentist, everyone was world-class. I cant thank them enough. I'll update with a review on how my filling goes!

Extremely unprofessional experience. I had a scheduled appointment and waited over 30 minutes…read morewithout being seen. When the doctor finally came in he told me I needed multiple things done... Mind you I had already waited 30-35 mins and had things to do afterwards. When I asked how long it would take, instead of apologizing or giving a clear timeframe, the doctor responded with, "Why, are you in a rush?" That response alone was enough to show the lack of respect for patients' time. I was told they were "running late with patients". To make it worse, I was asked to go downstairs because that's where my hygienist was and when I went to the front deck the doctor asked if I could "at least get my X-rays done," in a tone as if I owed them something after sitting there waiting. That felt dismissive and inappropriate. After more waiting, I was told to wait longer because the hygienist was not ready for me due to cleaning. I decided I was going to leave and told the receptionist. Suddenly, she said, "She's ready for you." The problem was the hygienist was nowhere to be found. When that became obvious, the story changed to "She's still cleaning." Being busy is understandable. Being rude and dismissive isn't. Overall this place has gone downhill over the years, they are ALWAYS super inconsiderate of their patients time. Patients deserve professionalism, communication, and basic respect and you will not find it here!!!
