She was very empathic and listened to my concerns and formulated a treatment plan that worked for me. She is never pushy on upselling and I really appreciate that she does things not to make the most money, but what is the best for her patients. She has my loyalty for life. I had composite filling that needed repair after 3 years, and at first it was composite for bottom right teeth. But it was sensitive, so the sensitive spot we did a small spot of composite. And the other two molars, bottom and top left side, very rear had issues too. But I talked it over with Norma, and we decided that for my heavy bite that amalgam would be better, which I happen to agree with. Years before I had amalgam for the rear tooths..and sometimes it lastes as long as 10 years, but sometimes it fails as soon as 3. So rear molars are going back to be amalgam next time it needs replacing. I would have preferred gold filling, but that is not an option anymore..too bad. P.S. Although prices have crept up over the years, as have everything else, she gave me a discount for being later than usual due to end of the year holiday scheduling. I am very grateful for that! P.S.2 Although scheduling isn't easy for me now that I have to take my son to school far away so mainly I just have after 3:30 pm available..and since she only there at the location Tuesday and Fridays..but the location is super close to my house, so I like it. This business is not local to me but in desperation to find someone to look at my tooth, I called them. A nice girl named Caitlin answered the phone and told me they were booked at least a month out. I explained my situation and after putting me on hold, she was able to squeeze me in for an exam within two days. She made sure to tell me they may not be able to perform the work needed right away. Whatever. At least I am moving in the right direction. She offered to email me all forms and authorizations so that when I came in, they could see me right away and not take a bunch of time with paperwork. Super convenient! I wish all doctors and dentists did this. I arrived today for my exam/evaluation at 11am and was greeted at the door with a smile (no pun intended). I did not have a mask and was politely told it was their policy to protect their other patients, which I understand. I literally did not wait more than five minutes until being taken to the back for x-rays. I had Rosanna take my x-rays and she had heard from Caitlin that I was very nervous but not to worry. She originally took x-rays of the tooth in question but decided we might as well go through and do x-rays of all of my teeth. I know they were really squeezing me in but they took the time to go the extra mile rather than have me come back for a regular check-up. She was really nice and efficient. I always waited for her to say "bite down" before biting down. Of course, I failed to do this at the end and bit her finger. I couldn't be more apologetic and embarrassed. She told me she works with kids all the time and has gotten used to it. I now recognize she saw me as a 35 yr old kid, afraid of the dentist office. Afterwards Dr. Tran came in and quickly assessed a cavity as well as two other ones. I knew there were probably a couple others but no pain meant no rush. He recommended we get all three done at one time to limit the visits needed or further complications of them getting worse. He couldn't have been more gentle with my apprehension when looking in my mouth. He came in almost immediately after the x-rays were done. That never seems to happen. I found this practice to probably be the quickest, most efficient, honest and above-all, conscious of my immediate need for help. I understand doctors that do this for repeat patients but to squeeze me in and I've never visited the office before? Unheard of. Not local but I would/will make the drive for this group anytime. From the receptionist to the assistant/hygienist, to the dentist, everyone was world-class. I cant thank them enough. I'll update with a review on how my filling goes!

Wendy one of the hygienist is always so kind and thorough she's absolutely amazing her. Personally as with most people I hate coming to the dentist but the staff here make it an easy visit. Still, I decided to give it a try, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I could have made. The team truly cares about their patients. They even remember everyone's name. (Seriously, how does everyone know my name?) More importantly, they recommend treatments based on what is best for the patient, not just what will make the most profit. I highly recommend this place. When a business has a Yelp rating above 4 stars and the number of 5-star reviews is dramatically higher than the number of 1-star reviews, that usually says a lot. A Very Disappointing Experience After More Than 20 Years of Loyalty…read more I have been coming to this dental office for well over 20 years, and throughout that time, I brought all six of my children here as well. The reason I stayed loyal for so many years was because of my love and trust for Dr. Daisy. She always made me feel comfortable and cared for, and I truly valued the relationship I had with her and the office. When Dr. Daisy began transitioning into retirement, we started seeing her son. Unfortunately, my ex-husband and I were not impressed with our first experiences and even considered going elsewhere. However, because of my loyalty to Dr. Daisy and the office, I decided to give it another try. A few years ago, I had two chipped teeth. Dr. Daisy placed what she explained was a temporary covering on them. She was very upfront that it was temporary and told me that if it ever came off, they could redo it. It lasted for years, so I was grateful. Eventually, one came off. When I went to her son, I mentioned it, and his response was essentially, "Next time, we'll see how it goes." I hesitated, but again, I stayed loyal. About a year later, I finally made an appointment specifically to have my chipped teeth addressed, along with my cleaning. During the appointment, my teeth were cleaned, and he told me to come back and see him later. I said, "What about my teeth?" He responded, "What about them?" I explained that Dr. Daisy had previously put something over the chipped area and that I wanted to have it repaired again. I was told, "You're older now. Your teeth shift." I honestly didn't understand what that had to do with addressing the chipped tooth, especially since I was simply asking for an evaluation and repair. I explained that the chipped tooth really bothers me because my tongue constantly hits the area. His response was sarcastic, asking, "What do you want me to do, smooth it out or something?" At that point, I said, "Well, anything at this point." He did smooth it out, but unfortunately, it looked and felt essentially the same to me. Even more disappointing, my second chipped tooth wasn't even examined. I waited several days before writing this review because I didn't want to write it while I was upset. What hurts the most isn't just the dental work -- it's how I was spoken to and treated after more than two decades of loyalty. I have never walked out of that office feeling upset or disrespected until this appointment. After all these years, six children, and so much loyalty to Dr. Daisy and this practice, I never expected to leave feeling this way. At the end, they asked if I wanted to schedule my next cleaning. "Ummmm... no. No, thank you." That was honestly the hardest part for me -- realizing that after more than 20 years, I no longer felt comfortable returning.

They both explained everything in detail to me before the procedure and also step by step as we went along. Dr. Carlson's bedside manner was so kind and gentle, it really put me at ease along with the worship music in the background. I also love that he explained he just came from a seminar where he learned new minimally invasive techniques for dentistry that he was able to apply to save my tooth structure and protect my teeth from bacteria I truly appreciate when practitioners take the time to keep learning and stay abreast of cutting edge techniques in their field and pass that on to the patient. It's such a huge benefit. They were both so thorough in their approach with me and as always Ashley was so kind and efficient in helping me get checked out. Going to the dentist when you're older can get a little scary but I always find myself so extremely grateful for Dr. Chad and his whole team! I can't wait to see their new office they will be moving into soon too!!

I was under anesthesia for routine dental work. (I have to be heavily sedated for all dental…read moreprocedures because I suffer from a disability.) Prior to this, I was given an estimate of the work to be completed. The estimate states that the amount may fluctuate, and one will be billed or refunded depending on circumstance. Tomazin, however, decided to perform $2,751.20 of extra work not agreed upon while I was under anesthesia. This was not critical work that necessitated immediate intervention. Also, my medical surrogate was available to make decisions on my behalf while under anesthesia. It had been established during previous visits that the surrogate would be consulted prior to authorizing or denying additional work. In fact, I didn't know additional procedures were performed until 17 days had passed when I received a bill in the mail. The surrogate was never consulted. Thus, I was under anesthesia for a significant amount of additional time, undergoing a significant number of unauthorized procedures, violating bodily autonomy. I am shocked. Someone who I trusted to care for me, a person needing specialized care due to a disability, took advantage. I do not recommend Dr. Tomazin, particularly if you are undergoing a procedure that needs to be done under anesthesia.
