We first brought her to see the dentist before she was 2 and I was very nervous how that would go at that age sitting still and not screaming. Let me tell you, Desert Sun Pediatric is amazing. All the assistants are super sweet and Dr Cam is so good with kids. I love that you can he is a dad and he is so real with his advice. He will tell you what he has done with his kids and he gets it! He doesn't rush you out and listens to any questions or concerns. The office is setup with kids from the moment you walk in and when the kids are laying down, there is a tv on the ceiling playing a Disney show. The first time we took my daughter, they gave her a T-shirt and an electric toothbrush. Each time my daughter goes, she gets to pick out a toothbrush and they put it in a little bag with floss and toothpaste. My daughter also gets a token for the prize machine on her way out. Dr Cam even hyped up the prizes if my daughter had no binky the next time she came in and my daughter was so excited to tell him she has no more binky and got two prize coins. Such simple prizes, but it works! Overall, great experience and I would recommend for anyone in the East Valley.

They instantly wanted a down payment for this work to be done and my husband told them that he needed to go over it with me prior to agreeing. So we made an appt at dentists of gilbert crossroads and it was a night and day difference as far as opinions go. Mind you we never were asked to get X-rays the first day at this location so all they did was clean our sons teeth. Gilbert crossroads did an X-ray and they all have separate rooms so you aren't sitting next to a bunch of kids is what my husband said. He said it was very odd the way the set up is between the two he didn't care for the huge bay of 7-8 kids sitting so close to one another. So second opinion today at the other office we selected only wanted 65 dollars to disc between his two front teeth, X-rays, and noticed the cavities he did have were so small it didn't make sense to fill it when they are just going to fall out. The back "cavity" we were told at this office didn't even show up on the X-ray at the second office on his images. Why tell someone they have a cavity if you don't have concrete proof in an image?? Seriously. Thanks for making parents worry/panic. Glad we didn't come here after all and won't be recommending to others.

This is a small private practice with Dr. Taylor & there's also an orthodontist Dr. Sutter, then they have 2 office ladies that were very nice. We were in need of a new dentist that did everything in office versus possibly being told a hospital setting depending on your child as so many offices love to tell me! After our son's bad experience at his previous dentist with a couple of extractions it took me some research to finally find Dr. Taylor & oh my gosh so glad I kept searching because he's definitely worth the 45 minute drive! We were basically there for a meet & greet/consultation being that our son needs anesthesia for EVERYTHING including x-rays! Once we met Dr. Taylor I knew we made the right choice, he had such good bedside manner & reassured us that everything is in house. He's the only dentist there as it's his private practice, so no worries of our son being scheduled with a particular dentist at random. They also do anesthesia once a month so that's very convenient versus some other dentist offices.

I've had extensive dental work throughout my life and regular cleanings, however, I still had bleeding gums and serious tartar build up. This office has corrected all of that, including recommending an electric toothbrush and now, my cleanings are half the time and NO GUM ISSUES. Now I have my family and grandchildren only using electric toothbrushes. I also had my teeth whitened and WOW.
