This is the most unethical company I have ever dealt with and they should get negative stars. We spent $8,000 on 8mm flooring that the Houston manager insured us was high quality, which is why we wanted 8mm. We had it installed by a contractor who has done other floors in our subdivision with no issues. We had them installed the week of 3/16/26 and within a couple of weeks we noticed dents and scratches all over the house. I called the Houston store about our issues. The manager then told me that our flooring was a new line and he had never sold it before! I filed a claim with their HQ and sent many pictures. That is just one attached showing dents and scratches after only 8 days. They sent our flooring for testing and emailed me saying that the flooring did not meet their standards. They gave examples of multiple deficiencies with their product that the Houston store sold us telling us how great it was. They are now telling us we have to take more product from them and they will not pay us back for our $7,000 installation fee. They said we would have to pay that again to have more of their product installed. We consulted an attorney and are now going to take them to court. We want our money back, not more defective product, as well as our installation cost. We would have never had that product installed had we known it was defective and they had never even sold any of it. It is on LL to test their products before they sell them. That was not our job. I will never do business with this company again and would never recommend them. read more

Went in to look for Berber carpet and was enthusiastically greeted. Staff are upbeat and helpful and work hard to upsell you. I was given a quote well under 2 grand but after they visited it was bumped to 3 grand. Not sure how when measurement is stable but we will go elsewhere for flooring. read more

BE 100% SURE YOU GET WHAT YOU WANT WHEN YOU PURCHASE FROM LL! This is not regarding Spring location. This is a LL customer service issue. Purchased laminate for the entire 1st floor of my home 2 yrs ago. Had it installed in kitchen when kitchen remodel was done. I HATE it. We stopped at the kitchen - still have pallet in garage. I emailed customer service three times to see if there was a way to exchange it. I NEVER got a reply. So here I sit with a pallet of flooring I HATE & not enough $ to get more. read more

Price was right at lumber liquidators and started out strong but unfortunately there were some errors on their entry of the order which caused a big delay to my receipt of the product. That in turn cost me money because I had workers ready to install at my house. And their attempt to make it right they again messed up the order which delayed it a second time. They offered to refund me money but the money wasn't the point. I needed the product.Hopefully they learned from that because the product itself is really nice and I had to order another box of quarter round which came to me extremely quickly. read more

Hub and I made a large purchase (for us) from these guys and have been happy with the service this company has given. We also like our floor a great deal. The process of finding possible choices at the store was fun and we were not pressured to buy something we could not afford. Once we made the choice, I was easily able to order over the phone and arrange for delivery into my home at a reasonable price. Delivery was on time, quick, and AOK. We had vinyl planks installed in all wet areas of the house that came out amazing. Kevin reconmended this and really changed my impression on vinyl. The flooring looks and feels great once installed. MY only complaint is the sample boards in the showroom are too small and really don't tell you how great they really looked. Don brought out several planks to show us, and I am thankful for that, because the flooring looked great. We had them install the flooring. We received a call from Missy, who explained that we have to have the A/C at a certain temp, and got us ready for the installation process. She explained the process and really cared. The installers were friendly, hard workers, had the proper tools and knew what they were doing. They paid attention to fine details. Our entire family is happy with the wood-floor look. Lowest price out of the places we shopped in Spring and this place is straight to the point with everything that goes into the flooring. I am not the type of person to take the time to write a review but it this case I feel compelled. Each time we went in, the person who helped us was very knowledgeable and really knew wood flooring. The installers completed quickly, and were really polite. They did an excellent job and everything was done. We had materials left over that wasn't used, and returned them for full credit, which was nice. We are thrilled with our new wood look tile floors and highly recommend this store. Pros: Pricing was upfront, and listed every cost which gave us options to change items, like the padding and the moldings. Wasn't cookie cutter stuff like other places. Price after all materials was lower than the prices at 3 places we shopped. Cons: Not alot of people work there, so best to come during a weekday since weekends seem hectic. read more

Floors were creaking upstairs after we hired a guy who was referred to us. The creaking was really bad, and went here to get some help. The young man was very helpful, explained why it may doing that, and gave me some options to get it fixed. He didn't try to push me to buy a new floor, but instead suggested I put baby powder where it creaked first. I went with the cheapest option as I'm not ready to pay for flooring again, but when I''m ready I'll be back. Also the baby powder worked! read more

My experience with the Lumber Liquidators, Spring, TX location was an EPIC FAILURE. Upon purchase of a new home in Spring seven years ago I purchased circa 1,100 sq ft. of hardwood flooring from this location. I had an independent contractor install this on the first floor of my home. In November 2017 I returned to purchase another 550 sq. ft. of the same material and have Lumber Liquidators provide an installation estimate. I paid a deposit to reserve the material based on my initial estimate and paid the 'Install Measure and Appraisal' fee. After an installer conducted measurements at my home, I returned to the store to review and discuss the estimate. I was quite shocked that the initial quoted installation price of $2.49 was in the quote, but Lumber Liquidators had DOUBLED the instalation cost through the use of 'carpet removal', 'transition install' and an $800.00 'misc charge' markups. Needless to say, I was quite shocked and expressed my disappointment to the sales clerk. The clerk escalated the situation further by telling me that he was not there to negotiate with me and would not remove the misc fees and began the process to refund my deposit because my business was not welcome there. To top it off, the clerk crumpled up the written estimate and refused to give it to me, despite the fact that I had paid a 'Install Measure and Appraisal' fee. BUYER BEWARE of hidden fees and poor customer service at this location. read more

I have bought two sets of flooring from LL prior to my current purchase. My brother installed those, so when I got a quote I was a bit shocked that three bedrooms were going to cost close to 3 grand. So to do some extra checking I went to Home Depot - same exact quote for a far inferior product. The installers did an awesome job and I could not be more pleased. Saw the awful reviews but still decided to give them a shot. Do not waste your time! Waited ten minutes for service when we went to buy new wood floor for the entire downstairs (2000sq ft.) when he finally decided to come out of the back he was not very helpful or polite. Long story short, bad customer service and the estimate we were given was more than double what we got elsewhere. Definitely not worth wasting your time. Lots of hidden fees that seemed very suspicious, not included at other stores. read more

The installers did an excellent job. Job was done on time and Edwin protected my new cabinets by covering them with plastic. It took him about a hour to do so, but you can tell he is a person who cares about other people by how he protected my home during the installation of the flooring. read more

David Martinez was my salesman and he was very patient and very knowledgeable seeing that I didn't know what exactly I wanted. If he didn't know his manager Kevin was extremely helpful also. CROOKS! We used this location on (3) different occasions. The sub-contractors that they used to do the flooring install are lost and wandering in traffic. They stole the floor leveling (9) bags and still charged us for the material. We are now having warranty issues which they will NEVER call me back on. We got our stuff last April. We had issues in June and Victor came and looked at it. He told me that he was going to have a few of the pieces replaced because they were damaged. I called back in October to have it replaced. I got Kevin, the manager, and I got the regional manager Chris, but nobody returned my call. Victor lied to me. He told me one thing, but the report that he put in the system stated that it was our negligence that damaged the pieces, therefore the warranty was voided. They kept telling me that they would call me back, but nobody has returned my call. I just would like to let people know not to do business with these people. They are liars and cheats. If you do have any business with them, just know that you're going to have issues with them in the future. read more

We had a great experience coming in to get an estimate and see some samples. The sales room floor staff (Don/Liz) were great and helped us understand all the benefits/drawbacks of the different products. They gave us a competitive estimate and even showed us we're we could save some money like picking up the material ourselves. I saw the bad reviews but maybe things have changed recently? read more

I would give zero stars if available. We are repeat customers having been happy with prior wood flooring that has performed well and still looks great. The recent bamboo flooring and recommended LL glue for installation has been a true nightmare. LL has the worst customer service and their claims process is a joke. They do not stand behind their warranty- BEWARE. Two weeks after installation our flooring started to buckle and the top surface of the wood started to peel and crack. After LL denied our claim (denial process took over a month and we were denied based upon photos I submitted along with a completed questionnaire). The flooring was ribbed up and removed at additional cost to us including the cost of new product and installation. We are out of pocket so much money. I will never recommend them and have told everyone I know about our horrible experience. Wish I could have dumped the crappy product at their front door for all to see. read more

I wrote a review about Lumber Liquidators a while back and stated we were not happy with them. They have since done a reinstall and corrected the problem of an inproperly installed wood flooring. They charged us only for the product used and did a good and careful job on our flooring. We also had to pay for installation but it was worth it to get our floor fixed. It looks beautiful again. A great experience from the purchase through the installation. We purchased 1500' of Bellawood Brazilian cherry and had it installed by the approved LL installers A&A Flooring LLC. Victor and his technicians did a great job of installation and matching trim work. There have been some bad reviews about LL however I do not find this to be true and would recommend LL to others. read more

Incrediblely poor customer service. I only give them one star because the system won't let me give a 0. I ordered flooring on Aug 8. I was told it would take 10-12 days for it to come in. I called for a status on 8-24. I was told it was on back order and he couldn't say when it would be in. Today (8-29) I saw the same flooring on the Lumber Liquidator website on sale for 10 cents cheaper. I called them back to check my status again. At first I was told it would be a month before it would come in and, in the same sentence, she said it would be a month and a half before it comes in. I asked why it was still online if it's back ordered. She said some people don't mind waiting 3 months. I think they should have told me that when I ordered it (or at the very least - call me to tell me it's back ordered) and I think it should at least say it's on back order online so people don't have the mistaken impression that it's available when it's not. They could have cared less about the situation they put me in. read more

I went in to this particular location on 45 after moving to a new house and was planning on possibly becoming a flooring customer. I first had to match the flooring that was good and reinstall where some gaps were I had so I brought in a board and I also needed a tool for installing the laminate flooring. The guy.acted.like I wasted his time.from the moment I walked in the door. He was a little Asian guy and he just pointed at a tool kit and grabbed a phone call. He wasn't offering much help beyond that and when I asked about the board I brought in, he basically insulted it like it wasn't anything they would sell, wouldn't look me in the eye. And actually said "how can you expect me to know anything about what you're bringing me?" I didn't feel welcome at all. I think even the other lady there working acted embarrassed when she took over ringing me up. When I bought the tool he took off. Just because I came in for a tool today doesn't mean I won't be back to buy more floor which I WAS. I won't be back, you lost me. CUSTOMER SERVICE jerk. read more

I can't say enough about the service we received start to finish. We needed to have new floors installed in a house located out of town. From my sales people to the scheduler and the installers it was a seem less process. I still can't believe the job was completed without one single problem. Doesnt even deserve 1 star but I had to select one to write a review. This place has horrible customer service. I went in to the store and ordered flooring. I was told it would take max 10 days for it to be in. After 13 days I hadnt heard from them and called. They said it wasnt there yet so they would call warehouse to find out why then call me back. I waited 5 more days with no response. Finally a total of 18 days my husband called them. They said they had no idea why our floors werent there yet and the guy claimed that there was no way to find out when they would actually arrive and he said all we could do was keep waiting. My husband said it was unexceptable and the salesman actually told my husband that he couldnt just sh** the floors out of his a** then hung up. I emailed customer service and they were apologetic and assigned to a customer relations rep. It has been 2 weeks and I cant even get her on the phone! I have been so nice to everyone and one month later I still do not have my floors and have still not been given a refund either! I am beyond mad at this point! This store is horrible and in my experience the company reps are just as bad. Pay a little more and go to Lowes or Home Depot. read more
