I went with 7 friends, you enter at Gate 8 off of Clinton Drive, just tell the security guard you are there for the tour. There is a nice plaza to wait at right next to the boats. The parking lot is safe; let's face it, the only folks getting in have to pass security! Oh and by the way, you must make a reservation through their online link. They can take up to 100 people but limit each reservation to 10 so if you have more make more reservations. The boat is hardly ever full. A bit before 10 am one of the employees came out to check everyone in and handed out bottles of cold water which was great as it was almost 90 degrees outside in full sunlight. We boarded and were asked to sit inside while they got underway. One of the shipmates gave a safety talk and then we were free to go outside. The boat moves along at a pretty good pace, every now and then it slows for tug boat traffic. You get to see the industries that are along the ship channel. There are lots of big ships and also small ones. Some are loading or unloading, others are being repaired or a clean coat of paint. The shipmates serve coffee for the adults on the way and after turning around after about 45 minutes they offer cold water and soft drinks. There are so many photo opportunities so take lots of pictures. You are asked to go inside while they secure to the dock, the air conditioning feels great. Then you are on your way. The entire crew was so nice, they were helpful and friendly and could answer questions. Please, if you plan to take children, keep them under control. While not dangerous, there are things to watch for so you don't trip and the doors for the cabin are very heavy and hard to open and shut quickly so a child could easily get hurt. I set one up for the place I work, and the rates were even better. They treat us well, the vans are new, they are organized, drama free, and never overcharge. The one downside is that they don't have unlimited miles, which for a couple of our trips make it more expensive. If you are looking for a rental place, definitely give this place a shot!

For Edible Arrangements, Valentine's Day and Mother's Day (weeks) are the 2 most busiest times of the year. Every year, for the past 7 years, we have relied on PV Rentals to provide us with the Refrigerated Box Trucks and Cargo Van Rentals which are essential for running store operations as big as the 2 aforementioned occasions. Aside from minor communication issues, etc. we have never experienced much problems with our rentals. After overcoming great obstacles obtaining our rental last year due to "repair issues" we decided to give PV Rentals another chance this year, as in the past they almost always provided to meet our expectations. As always, we reserved 6+ months in advance in order to avoid complications or any rental availability issues. The day before my rentals were scheduled to arrive, I was notified via email that PV Rentals had no trucks available for us to use. I didn't receive a single call. We had 700+ orders to fulfill for Valentine's 2018, and in that short amount of time, we were unable to obtain any replacements. On Monday (the day we were scheduled to receive our trucks) our store owner went to PV Rentals Aldine-Westfield 77032 to figure out what to do about the situation. The staff was very rude and acted in an unprofessional manner, stating: "This is your problem now, deal with it yourself..." This company has made false promises/commitments without following thru and due to this we have taken a major loss from a business perspective. We are not trying to bash PV Rentals as a company, we are merely trying to highlight the issues which we have faced recently, so that other customers of PV Rentals don't have to go thru the same situation. Astro-logically speaking this is one of the best teams out there. Considering Houston is the 4th city of America, a huge market and one which likes sports as much as the next town (to some degree), it doesn't have a marquee team that everyone here loves. The Astros have, more than any other, emerged as that team. They're very beloved by the Latin community because of people like Altuve, and because of bringing championships to Houston, a city that needs and deserves them more than most. So yes, the Astros are a very good baseball team which represent the city of Houston better than any of the other teams, although the Rockets are a close second, in terms of putting things on the shelves of the trophy cabinet, and in representing the Latin community, which makes up more than half of Houston's population, and this is probably why you see more of these shirts around than any other team. The Rockets are kinda good and kind of popular, and manage to bring the odd big name to town which is great, and the Texans are just a major disappointment despite having the marquee stand up guy (JJ Watt) on the team for so long. Now we're going to see if they can step out of his enormous shadow. But regardless, the Texans aren't fanatically followed, and honestly that's what happens if you put a major NFL franchise, which is a sport mainly followed by some demographics, in a town that is not famous for those demographics. Houston should continue investing in the Dynamo, the Rockets, and especially the Astros since they're already by far the most beloved team in town.
