Stopped only because of the $1 tacos! They were on the small size but for $1 and fast service I'll take it! The tacos were ready before I had a chance to take a picture of the menu! They have a toppings and sauce bar where you can top off with cilantro, onions, jalepeno, and 3 kinds of salsa. Stop by for their Saturday special 12-2 $1 asada, pork, pollo tacos!

I was looking for a quick dinner and came across this taco truck. The taco plate I ordered came with 3 street tacos -- each on flour tortillas and topped with cilantro and onions. Good quality, tasted great, and the price was very reasonable at $12 for three tacos, rice and beans.

Chalitos has been a great addition to the Astoria food scene. Authentic taco truck experience with affordable options and they're open every time we're craving tacos. Solid nachos, big burritos and good salsa's

Skip the hipster breweries and bistros. Go to Chalitos! This little taco truck is serving serious flavor and authenticity! Be patient as he's often alone, but it's worth the little wait. Try the tacos (Al pastor being the winner) Thank me later!

This was some great food. As Tony the Tiger would say "there great" Would recommend. Top ten restaurants in the nation. I HEART Tres Bro's This southed my Hungary belly It was very well priced and the food was good. I can't stress this enough but I would go back. All the food was great and tasty. If you are in town I would make it a stop on your list. I would give it 1,000 michelin stars. This was one of the best experiences I have had at a restaurant in Astoria.

We did try a couple of appetizers, the cucumber & radish salad and the smoked salmon chowder. The star was definitely the chowder, order it, you will not be disappointed. For entrees we all ordered Fritanga- chicken, shrimp and long cod. You really can't go wrong with any of the protein variations. Each dish comes with an amazing Nicaraguan pico, rice and bean, plantains and fried cheese. Everything was delicious and well seasoned. The atmosphere is very chill and quiet. We enjoyed everything about this place and will be back when we are in town. Don't miss out on the best food in Astoria!!

We had a wonderful family lunch at El Tapatio and will definitely be back!…read more I ordered the tostada, and it was absolutely delicious. I especially loved the fresh radishes and cucumber garnish, a refreshing touch. My son ordered the Colorado Burrito with shredded beef, his girlfriend had the Super Burrito, and my granddaughter enjoyed a taco with the two-enchilada combination. Everything looked fantastic. The menu is huge, with so many tempting choices that it was hard to decide. I originally planned on ordering the chile relleno but decided to try something different this time, and I'm glad I did. The complimentary chips came with two different salsas, and both were excellent. One salsa had mushrooms, onions, and what I believe were tomatillos, giving it a unique flavor that was absolutely delicious. It was a nice change from the typical restaurant salsa. One thing worth mentioning is the portion sizes. The burritos are enormous and could easily be shared between two people while still leaving everyone satisfied. We were seated in a booth overlooking the Columbia River, which made for a beautiful setting and added to the experience. A few minor drawbacks: Because it was a warm day, the doors were left open, and there were quite a few flies near the entrance and inside the restaurant. None bothered us where we were seated, but it was noticeable when entering. Parking can also be a little tight, especially if you drive a larger vehicle. There is one handicap parking space near the entrance. Families with young children should also be aware that the stairs to the lower level are directly in front of the entrance without a gate or barrier, so it's something to keep an eye on. Overall, the excellent food, generous portions, friendly atmosphere, and beautiful river view far outweighed those small concerns. We're already looking forward to our next visit.
