This place is pretty good but could make some improvements. Service was slow but friendly. I ordered the buffalo chicken fries as an appetizer and it was tasty but definitely needed more ranch to balance out the buffalo sauce. They have a very good buffalo sauce it's not overwhelming with vinegar or spiciness.The fries were very good. You get crispy ones and soft ones and they are thick but my only complaint was the coarse salt the topped it off with was just too much. I ordered the American Classic burger with everything except ketchup, added the garlic aioli, medium well done. Burger was so good until I got towards the center of the burger. I guess because I asked for garlic aioli they chose to also sprinkle a lot of crushed coarse salt garlic pepper. It was just too much I only ended up eating half. With my burger I order the fried zucchini. I love the this is a option but the execution could have been better. The batter was not flavorful and observed so much of the oil it was fried in. These were also topped off with coarse salt and was also to much. I needed to rub it off the ones I did eat because they were too greasy. Each dish I ordered was finished off with too much salt. Less of that and less oil the food would have been on point. read more

I showed up to Challenger Tap House to host a small going away for a co-worker. The staff were all super friendly and accommodating to give us our own private space. The waitress seemed a little new and young (she didn't seem to know what basic mixed drinks were when a few of our guests ordered), but that's okay! She was very friendly and was doing her best! We ordered a bunch of appetizers and they were all delicious (especially the wings!!! Comparable to coaches!) everyone who ordered meals seemed to be happy as well. Me and my hubby went on a late night date after work and this place was AMAZING we haven't gone out since the pandemic we were impressed with our drinks and the bartender. Our waitress made sure to let us know when there was seating indoor so we wouldn't be outside. She was very attentive and made us feel comfortable our bartender would give us samples of drinks and let me tell you he really knows what he's doing. We will be regulars from now on. Went to the Challenger Tap House for the first time tonight, it is my new favorite place to eat!!! Everyone was cordial, quick and efficient! If you're looking to watch a sports game this is your go-to. Young couple in late 20's. My husband and I came here for a date night to watch the Eagles play. The atmosphere was warm full of delightful people. I'm a nearby neighbor and have to say this place has given some light to the shopping center. It is neighbors with a nail salon, tatoo shop, liqour, Tokyo restaurant which is another great place by the way. The Tap house is an all indoor sitting with marvelous interior and surprisingly over 15 t'vs. Not to mention there is plenty of parking. We had a stupendous waitress by the name of Zairel along with a couple other guy waiters who were all quite intertaining. In addition, prices are outstanding. I heard a few people mention companies to all bars in the area Trap house was the cheapest which is what is bringing in customers. Hopefully it isn't a temporary price just trying to lure customers in. The owner quickly went around greeting everyone checking to see if everything was ok. I ordered a burger, mango habanero wings and jerk wings. MY GOD! The wings were d-e-lisious! However I have to say i paid for it that night and the next day. My gas reflex hit and got me good so WARNING! The wings both had a nice kick to them especially the jerk wings. I had two well made drinks, a White Russian and a Grapefruit drink recommended by Zairel. Nothing like a good amount of shots rather than watered down. I ordered a peach cobbler which I wasn't too happy about. It had about 4 crumble crumbs, excessive peaches with completely melted ice cream. I was looking forward to it but was disappointed. I hope they can enhance that desert to make it more appealing. I noticed by the bar underneath the table there was outlets to charge your phone which is pretty neat! Now, their menus are made out of paper and had numerous mistakes such as pen scuffs and their outdoor sign is a banner oppose to an actual sign. Keep in mind they did just open. A couple families entered with kids and walked out. Not sure if they weren't feeling the place but the was a few kids there. If you'd ask me I'd take my kids there with no issue. I would just sit away from the bar making it feel more as a restaurant. I will be coming again and I will give an update. read more

Went here for the first time last Wednesday. It's a super cute place. Our server was really nice and very attentive. The food was okay. We got the buffalo fries and those were pretty good. I then ordered the pork belly fritters and Brussels sprouts, and those were not good. I would definitely not recommend getting that. My boyfriend got the beer cheeseburger and that was BOMB! Their fries are pretty bomb too. Overall a great experience. read more

Came here as a first time trying out a new opened spot and it's located in our neighborhood, well the service is whack, he barely comes and ask us if we want refills or if we would like another beer, smh. It was a Friday and I got the fish and chips, no , no ,no! Gummy, soft, chewy, like the fish is old, comeon guys, it's one day out of the week.... WE KNOW YOU KEEPING THE LEFTOVER FISH FOR THE NEXT WEEK!,... the proof is in the taste... and another customer said that the salmon is fishy smelling?,... that's the red flag indicator that the piece of fish is old, you cannot cook the smell out of that old fish,... watch kitchen nightmares and then you'll notice that they're handling Unsanitary food tactics... Ordered the house fries for an appetizer with ranch and beer cheese for dipping. Fries were thick and good but was disappointed in the dipping sauce situation. 50 cents for a tiny side of sauce that lasted through only third of the fries sucks. Had to order 2x ranch, 2x beer cheese, and 2x ketchup to get through the fries. Would honestly prefer spending a dollar on enough cheese to get through the entire appetizer. The cheese was good though. Ordered the beer cheese burger with onion rings for the meal. Burger was loaded with all the goods which was great but the patty itself needed a little more seasoning. The onion rings unfortunately disappointed. They looked great but had no flavor and the first one I bit into still had the skin on it. Add a little sweetness to the batter and get some sweeter onions and they will be great. Got a near perfect 16oz pour of Mango Wheat which for $8 I suppose is ok. Both of the people that make drinks go above and beyond to make an awesome, refreshing drink. I have yet to be disappointed with anything either of them have made for me, and I tend to be on the picky side... The food is great, the beer list is pretty long and included local beers, but the cocktails are the real attraction here. You name it, they can make it. Try their desert cooler for something on the fruity side, a sazerac or old fashioned for the whiskey lovers, or some of the go to drinks (margaritas, martinis, etc).
