It is just too difficult to get an appointment there. I called three mornings in a row, because they don't take appointments. First call, first serve, or something like that. On the third day I got through ten minutes after they opened and was told he had 20 people standing in front of him and I would have to try again the next day. Sort of reminds me of those radio station giveaways: Be the fifth caller and win concert tickets! But if you are the fourth or sixth caller, better luck next time! Well, I called a different repair shop the next morning and they got me in that day for the work. I guess everybody wins: I have a garage that takes appointments, they have a new customer for both our vehicles, and Dexter Discount Tire gets to continue to run their fun "Be the fifth customer" giveaway contests. But so far I have no concerns about the people, who are friendly and seem quite honest to me. I mean, it is a late model vehicle, but I once had one of those quick lube and oil chain stores try to sell me $200 worth of filters with a simple oil change. I have no such worries here. They were able to get me in quickly and charged a very reasonable amount. The quality of the work also seems fine, though I can't say I have exactly challenged them yet with my services! They have a real waiting room in their sales building, something you take for granted until you start going to small town garages, and plenty of parking. All this and handy here in town also.
