Please note, I did not use their services, simply because they gave me the advice and suggestions needed to troubleshoot the issue myself. The guy that answered the phone was more than helpful, listened to my scenario, and gave great advice in about 3 minutes of his time. This was a awesome surprise after speaking to another repair company (see 'Champion'). If after my own attempt does not fix the problem (altho so far so good), I will definitely give them a call to schedule service.

She had an issue with our washer/dryer and didn't know how to fix it. I knew she had to get a handyman out there to fix it but she was really nervous to hire someone so I offered to help do research and find someone.   I called around to a few handyman places and after one call with the approachable appliances, I knew this was the place I had to go with. Zach was great on the phone and understood the situation completely. He quickly got us in the books and fixed the problem with my aunt's washer and dryer ASAP. Also, he was so trustworthy! I cannot emphasize being a female and having to deal with repairman/handyman, and always making sure I'm not going to get screwed over.  Zach was wonderful! I texted Keith and, although booked, he agreed to stop out and help on Friday morning. He was honest in his repairs and pricing was super reasonable. He ended up finding more things wrong with our fridge and offered a couple of solutions. They claim 24 hour service, it's clear as day on their Facebook page and web site, but it's not…read moretrue. I called this evening because our AC has stopped working. Spent an hour and a half trying to get someone on the phone to discuss the issue. I explained that our AC was out, that we have two babies in the house and we need to get it fixed ASAP. The man I spoke with offered to have a scheduler call me in the morning. "We're busy and we can't answer your call, but we can come at X time" would be understandable. But a simple "I can have a scheduler call you tomorrow between 8AM and noon to schedule an appointment"? That's not a very reasonable response from a company claiming to offer 24 hour service. You don't offer 24 hour service. You have a 24 hour answering service. There is a difference. The business replied to my review on FB saying the following: "With all due respect, at this time we were servicing a walk in freezer that was not working. This customer could have lost $5,000+ worth of frozen product if we did not fix their emergency call immediately. In addition, it was 66 degrees the evening Mr. Kilborn called (see screen shot of Weather Channel). And, Mr. Kilborn misunderstood, he was informed that he would receive a call the next day at 8AM to schedule an appointment." After spending 90 minutes waiting for a return call, only receiving it after my third message with their answering service (I'm not sure why I tried so many times), they said nothing about being busy. They said, very plainly, "We can have a scheduler call you tomorrow between 8 and noon to schedule an appointment." Had they explained they were on an urgent call, or had their answering service say "Hey, our people are tied up this evening, sorry," I would have just moved on. But we had a good experience in the past with them, so I waited. And waited. And waited. And yes, it's 66 degrees this evening. But it's 76 inside the house, and I've got two babies, one sick, that we're trying to keep asleep. We ended up moving to a hotel, and Harker will be here first thing in the morning. Problem solved. My criticism isn't that they couldn't handle the service call. It's that the communication was so poor. And, I suppose, that they had time to refute a Facebook review but didn't have time to call back and quickly say sorry, we're busy, can't help this evening.

Devon Greiber himself returned our call immediately and gave us a strong sense of trustworthiness. He went to our house and we were able to remotely let him in. He diagnosed the problem and repaired the unit (new furnace blower motor) in 24 hours. His cost was below another bid we received from a much larger Madison company that has a very good reputation but took days to respond to us. Overall, Greiber provided outstanding service at a very fair cost. I would definitely recommend Greiber and we will be using them again in the future for maintenance and repairs.
