They gave him a good amount of play time and there was also the option to add on different services, like a peanut butter filled Kong. Elton is never afraid when we pull up here but always excited to see his friends.

I took my dog in for a teeth cleaning, but she ended up having nearly $2,000 in surgery to remove all of her teeth instead. It was the right thing to do, but as you can imagine, it was extremely distressful. Afterwards I received the bill, which STILL included the cost of a "cleaning, polishing and fluoride treatment." I politely asked that the charge be removed, since her teeth were actually removed and never cleaned. Initially, they refused, saying I still owed them nearly $150 for the cleaning. I then wrote the office manager an email explaining the situation and expressing my disappointment. To her credit, she finally refunded the charge. However, during a follow up appointment, Dr. Todd Kyle had the audacity to tell me he didn't appreciate my email or my tone and abruptly tried to walk out of the exam. He didn't know the whole situation, clearly, nor had he given me the opportunity to explain my perspective. He was rude, dismissive and disrespectful. Without talking to his own staff about the situation, he decided it was his place to admonish me and tell me how I should have reacted. I refuse to let him treat me like that and would never let him treat a pet of mine again. The previous owners NEVER would have let this happen. I loved them and was an ardent advocate for them for decades. Now I'm looking for a new vet.

We showed up and met frosty and fell in love. We were given the option to do a 7 day trial in our home and due to have a young child we chose this option and he did amazing. They provided us with food, crate, and toys for him which was so incredibly helpful. We ended up adopting him after that week and the process was so smooth. I had to call three more times for them to finally schedule me. When I scheduled the appointment through the phone they mentioned nothing about being "non refundable". So when I canceled my appointment weeks in advance they still said nothing about refunds. I had to call AGAIN and ask where my refund was, they said everything is non refundable. I had my dad call them and ask for a refund for me, and they told him they told me that they're non refundable. WHICH THEY NEVER DID. I'm 19 years old, I do not make enough for $110 to be NOTHING. Could you imagine if I had to pay rent and didn't have enough because they refuse to give me my money back? Or if I couldn't afford to pay groceries? That's a lot of money for someone my age. This humane society doesn't have an ounce of my respect. The customer service is horrible. The management is ridiculous. The least they could've done is tell me it's non refundable.

This is a very delayed review and I debated on whether or not to share but after 3 years since I…read morehad my negative experience with formerly "Noah's Ark Veterinary Hospital" now Muirfield Animal Hospital, I feel ready to share in order to help anyone who potentially could run into the same experience. I adopted my Maltese puppy Isabelle in early December 2019, she was a very finicky eater and no matter what I tried would not eat. I had to use a syringe to get her to at least eat turkey baby food. Taking her to Muirfield for her first appointments, they instructed me to leave food out for 5 minutes and if she doesn't eat, take the food away and try later. In hindsight, I have learned this is incredibly dangerous for toy breeds as their blood sugar drops easily if they are not eating. I also felt they had judgement to where I had purchased Isabelle, Premier Pups. A couple of weeks went by with me taking her in to Muirfield to run blood tests and try to understand what was wrong with Isabelle. While I was out of town, my partner had her and she fell very ill. She pooped and vomited, cried out sounds my partner has never heard before. He ran her over to Muirfield and they instructed he take her to MedVet emergency hospital. She spent 3 nights there while they ran a variety of tests. When we got her back, she had tested positive for Giardia. When I went back to Muirfield Animal Hospital again, Dr. Mark Kurtzman convinced me Isabelle had "failure to thrive" and should be put down. He wrote the attached letter for me to share with the breeder, Premier Pups. I shared the letter with Mike the owner and he quickly went into motion to address the health concerns Isabelle was facing. He took her back, used the vet clinic originally recommended to me, Bethel Road Animal Hospital, and kept her for 2 weeks to recover. He was extremely passionate and rightly upset with Dr. Kurtzman's assessment. Happy to say there's a good ending to this story, I did not follow Dr. Kurtzman's advice to put Isabelle down. She did NOT have failure to thrive, Muirfield had failure to try everything they could before giving up on her. Isabelle is over 3 years old now, perfectly healthy and will never, ever be recommending Muirfield Animal Hospital.

This place is BEYOND anything I could imagine. It is the greatest feeling every to have a 24/7…read moreemergency vet withing 10 minutes from my house. They are fully equip to deal with the worse of emergency situations. I love my fur babies and also tend to feed and nurture a few local strays. I will use no one else. They are compassionate and sincere. The prices are comparable to any other vet I have been to but the services far exceed any other. They play a large role in animal charities and non profits as well. (I know this girl who had a cat who was accidentally in the dryer for close to 10 minutes. She rushed it to Noah's Arc. They saved the kitty and made this girls YEAR! Ah MAz Ing!)
