I can't tell you how lucky I feel to have a business like Champion Grocery in my neighborhood. The kind customer service, immaculate store, competitive value, and outstanding selection makes this a business I recommend to anyone and everyone! I have been able to source niche baking ingredients, hard to find spices, and just plain convenience grocery items with Champion - and it makes it one of my favorite places to shop in issaquah. Please give your business to this local gem!!

It is opened 9-6 Wednesday through Saturday. They sell raw milk too. $7 for 1/2 gallon. Sea hawks fan paraphernalia inside the store. It could be my newest place to go for dried beans, flours and herbs/spices now. Prices are reasonably for currants and chia seeds. $5.40/16oz bag for zante dried currants.

Ask the Community - Champion Grocery

Does anyone know if they carry chili Paste to use as base for Ton Ka Soup? Or if not, where to find a good product?

Not usually. I would call ahead. When they have soul food ingredients in stock, it is on the back row on the left.

The wide aisle makes it very easy to move around. I come here at least twice a week. One disappointment was that you took away the deli case and replaced it with the pre-packaged salads, made me sad. Any chance that the deli counter can be brought back to its previous popular stop spot? We love to have the selection and variety not a pre packaged. It's okay to have some prepackaged salads and sides like previous settings. I sure missed the kombucha that dispensed from the kegerator at the juice bar. I wasn't happy but do understand that it wasn't selling and has to be discontinued.

I love that they have such a diverse selection of fruit; my sister is always able to find something new and exotic to try. I love their sushi bar! My go to is shrimp tempura and I don't like it with avocado and the last time I was there, their sushi bar chef told me that they don't ever put avocado in their rolls with shrimp, but if I did want it made to order they could do that for me! Shopping local is super important to me and I love that at PCC all my fave local brands like Ellenos and Blazing Bagels are all in one place! I love shopping here and hope to try a PCC cooking class soon!!

I got some old favorites plus some easy ready to eat items for meals. The store was small and busy (it was after 4pm so rush hour was starting). What made me happy was Katie the cashier. She was nice and rang me up fast. I mentioned that I needed to find utensils for my food and she said, "oh i have some!" She hooked a girl up with forks and spoons. That was a relief! She is a real one. Prices were reasonable since this was trader Joe's specific food and products. I was excited to see the orzo lemon salad and the sun dried tomato with chicken wrap were still a thing. I got the frosting filled maple leaf cookies which are a must have treat. I got honey trader Joe's O's and yogurt for breakfast. I got a kale salad mix with cooked chicken for dinner. Along with some other items my bill was $47. That's not bad considering how crazy this economy has been lately. Trader Joe's is maintaining their standards which is nice to see in an ever changing landscape. They haven't tried to reinvent the trader Joe's wheel. They aren't broke so they're not trying to fix it.
