Delightful experience as always. Best steak tips on the North Shore. The marinade is flavorful but the texture and flavor of the steak comes through beautifully. The onion rings and fries that come with it are also spectacular, not too heavy of a batter on the onion rings, and fried beautifully. You get a lot for your money, with large serving sizes on everything. Editing a year later to add: we have been here so many times and it is always wonderful. This is our local bar and the food is amazing. The owner works the floor as waitstaff and clearly wants everyone to enjoy themselves, visitors and staff alike. I usually never take the time to write a review. I actually enjoy their steak tips most of the time (even though some are less tender than others). I called at 3:45pm on a Thursday for a take-out order. Was told to wait...ended up waiting on the phone for a few minutes until I was hung up on. Called right back, was told to wait again...waited more than 5 minutes without anyone answering me. Ridiculous, so I hung up. Tried calling back again and now am getting the busy signal everytime. I find it highly unprofessional/rude for this to happen. If you are going to offer takeout, offer it. If not, say so. You just lost a customer. read more

They would get a 5 star for the food but their service is terrible their phone manors are unbelievable I called 5 times the 5th time someone picks up and hangs up this is on two separate occasions . And the wait staff was abysmal the waiters were rude I could see if it was slammed but it wasn't. Steak tips are delicious but the service and whole vibe of the place sucks. If you're not a local or a friend of anyone who works there prepared to be ignored and wait almost an hour to get your food. And no I dont order my steak well done. I ordered medium rare. Waitress never came back in between after taking my order so I was just sitting there with an empty drink for what seemed like forever. Steak tips are amazing!!! Huge portions on them, always end up with two meals worth of tips. Staff are friendly. The only downside is the take out times, sometimes it takes 1-2 hours for a take out order and this is usually due to the high volume of business they see (they're kind of a hole in the wall place) but that hasn't stopped me yet from placing an order. read more

I ordered take out and was super happy about the steak tips and all the sides I had ordered for a small party. When I got home, some entrees had sides missing! I called them and they said they had run out of the sides which is why they didn't include them. I don't understand why that wasn't communicated when I picked up the order and paid for it all! What a find I can't say enough about the steak tips just writing this review makes me wanna go back and have more tender perfectly seasons marinated perfectly cooked some of the best steak tips I've had a long time. We started off with the buffalo wings which were very good I believe they make their own blue cheese Condiment. Ice cold beers happy cheerful service just can't say enough about the small little hole in the wall in Peabody been doing this for 30 years kind of feel cheated did I just discovered this please but I definitely will be returning again and again . The only reason it gets two stars is because of covid and I don't know what it looks like inside the restaurant. With that being said we sat out side which they did do a good job ordered 2 full racks of ribs w/ fries and onion rings w/ 2lemon aids. Our waiter was kinda rude and was taking people's orders first that came after us because he knew them. We ordered ribs etc and he kept saying appetizer and we kept saying no the dinners and that went back-and-forth two or three times. We waited an EXTREMELY long time for the food and it was extremely hot out that day so our drinks were totally melted and warm. The food came and I'm not kidding my ribs were cold actually cold to touch the bone in the rib the bone was cold . It came with steak fries and Husband got onion rings which I didn't think were really that good but let me tell you my fries where on fire hot so at least they got cooked . I asked if they sold their on steak sauce and he answered but could tell didn't really want to talk with us and he asked how it was I said cold but ok ( didn't want to get into it) We took it home to heat up later to eat. I was convinced by the reviews here (and word of mouth) to try the steak tips. Let me put them into perspective... they are not going make you more attractive, they won't get you that raise you're looking for and they won't make your car payment for you... BUT... they really were tender and tasty. The best I ever had? Probably not, but absolutely much better than average. I would recommend the tips as well. Stopped by for a bite and beer with my son and what a surprise. We got the Kielbasi sub and a Bacon Burger with fries and rings. We split everything just to try. Man, the Kielbasi was done to perfection. It was soft and moist inside and was grilled on outside to give it a crunch. The burger was a bit rare, but was thick, juicy and delicious. The fries were OK and the rings seemed a bit burnt tasting although had a good crunch. The staff was attentive and friendly. I saw customers getting the steak tips and they looked amazing.
