Driving back from a sojourn from Ipswich, Mass to Ikea and back we stopped here on our way home starving and thirsty and we were so happy we did! The interior is warm and welcoming with wood accents. Seated in a booth in the bar area we settled in and ordered some drinks. I got my usual tequila soda, my husband wanted a chocolate martini, and my sister in law decided on a French martini, something that my husband likes to get and she decided to try. The drinks were very good! The entrees we chose were the baby back ribs, a "classic burger", and the chicken Marsala. Everything we tried was delicious! The ribs were a very large portion and cooked to fall-off-the-bone perfection. My burger was very tasty and came with the biggest onion rings ever. So good! The chicken Marsala was as good as any ever eaten in any "Little Italy" . The server was very prompt and efficient. As a matter of fact, the staff all seemed to be relaxed and were working like a well oiled machine. Michael and I sat at the bar last night and had excellent service and delicious food! The staff are super friendly and everyone chips in. Even the owner, Rich, ran food from the kitchen to a patron also sitting at the bar. Sally made me an awesome espresso martini. We began with their lamb lollipop appetizer; I had their fried calamari as my entrée; and Michael had their pork chop marsala special. Everything was plentiful and reasonably priced. After we ate, I indulged in a tequila cosmo that Marissa made for me because Sally was busy with another customer. That's what I mean-everyone just helped each other out without complaining, and as we were leaving, Rich thanked us and said, "Hope to see you again." Popped in here on a Sunday afternoon and enjoyed strong drinks and huge portions. I had the Mediterranean salmon special which had a massive portion of fish and even larger side of buttery mashed potatoes. Did not disappoint. Had a coconut mai tai and my friend had a blueberry martini and potato skins, which were also a large portion and a great value. Service was friendly and he didn't hover. We ordered the pizza, and wow--super fresh mushrooms and delicious meatballs made it one of the best I've had in forever! Everything tasted so fresh and homemade. We also tried the onion rings, which were thinly battered and perfectly crispy-so good! The ambience is warm and inviting, with brick walls and sports memorabilia all around. Great music from the jukebox. It's the kind of place you instantly feel comfortable in, whether you're catching a game or just hanging out with friends. Service was fantastic....friendly, quick, and genuinely welcoming. The owner was super friendly and welcome as well. Also, shoutout to the food we didn't get to try yet! They were more interested in talking amongst themselves behind the bar. It was not even busy at which point I would have been a little more understanding. Popped in saturday night and got the last 2 bar seats. Our bartender Sally was pleasant and personable. The place was busy so it was hard to ask for things like hot sauce and drinks. Got stuck next to a local that is always at this bar and he just wouldnt let me and my gf converse together without him butting in. The food was ok, the nachos had weird cheese and lackluster toppings. The turkey tip dinner is a joke for 23$. U get a few burnt turkey tips and a scoop of rice pilaf that had the consistency of being cooked hours or days previously. In reality the only appealing plate brought to us was my gfs greek salad with turkey tips. It had great toppings and a ton of feta. 20$ and puts the turkey tip dinner to shame. The bread and butter brought to us was good but don't remember how much tgat costs. They do pour a big drink, my gf ordered tequila on the rocks and it seemed gigantic. Everything came out very close together, hot, and outstanding taste, from Pizza's, Prime Rib, many different chicken dishes, fish dishes, pasta. by 6:30 line out the door waiting (make a reservation). Although we've lived in Danvers for 18 years this was our first time here. We were seated right away in the bar. The menu is very limited, handful of appetizers and entrees. Our server was just friendly enough without showing any real warmth. My first martini was very good. We ordered a Greek Salad, Buffalo Chicken Fingers' and Calamari. We waited 30 minutes, no food. Our server came back fir our second drink order and we asked about our food-he seemed perplexed but then came back momentarily with our order- not sure what happened. The tenders were not warm, came with a small amount of blue cheese-no carrots, no celery. The calamari was served in a greasy sauce, we couldn't quite figure out the flavor. The salad was the highlight, very fresh. My second martini was just a vodka martini., not dirty. I would have said something but our server never returned to check on us. This is clearly a bar with food as an afterthought. The locals keep it going but I guess I'm not sure why with so much better food just about anywhere. We won't be back. Our bill was $89.00 for our drinks, two apps and one salad. Too many great options in town to get stuck with overpriced frozen food. read more

Have been going to 466 since we moved to the area 7 years ago, but this visit was particularly disappointing. Went on a Saturday at 4:30 with my husband and two young daughters. We only go out to dinner a few times a year, and my kids were excited, especially for the dessert we promised them at the end of the meal. Things were going fine until about halfway through when the waitress completely disappeared for about 25 minutes. My husband wanted to order a drink and my kids wanted to order dessert, but we had no luck flagging the waitress down, despite the fact that she was visiting every table around us. We finally ran out of time to order anything else by the time she came to ask if we wanted boxes, and we all left frustrated (and my kids in tears). Not to mention that the person busing the tables was extremely off-putting and rudely demanded our unused plates as we were packing up to leave. The whole experience left us feeling really uncomfortable. Not sure we will be back for awhile. read more

UM HI YOU'VE ARRIVED. The new renovations look AWESOME. My man and I dined in yesterday and were able to snag two seats at the end of the bar. Great atmosphere and the place was BUSY. Working in the industry this was so nice to see. Great big TVs and exposed beams. Dig it. The pizza is just as good as I remember. We kept it casual and just got potato skins and a large cheese with two drafts. Enjoyed our little early dinner. Yes parking is a shitshow but worth it. Can't wait to be back! Support local. Unreal , I just spoke with Rich the rudest manager I've spoken with. We ordered 6 dishes for our mothers birthday. 2 chicken Marsala dishes and we received what all 6 of us thought was chicken saltimbocca. Prosciutto mushrooms and cheese is not chicken Marsala. It had zero Marsala wine or taste. It was horrendously salty and not Edible. Rich couldn't care less that I wasn't happy and said ok by by and hung up. My family and I would always drive by and kept saying we should go there! Parking lots always packed. Well we finally got the chance to go and I wish I could give 10 stars that's how good it was!! I got the special Lamb Tips with Spinach Rice and OMG this neeeeds to be on the everday menu!!! The lamb was like butter! Cooked perfectly to my liking (medium rare), that spinach rice was to dieeee for!! Great portion size too! Garden salad with balsamic dressing was very delicious too! My mother made a pizza and wow that was one hell of a delicious pizza!! It was hard to get a bite from her that's how good it was! My father got the steak tips which were amazing! My husband is giving me access to his account to write this review. Last night I ordered and picked up some food (two pizzas, and a couple of salads) from the Four 66. Because of outdoor pickup, I didn't really review the bill and just paid it. This morning I looked at it and thought the money I paid was a little high, and believed there might have been a mistake made. I called today, January 3, at about 1PM. An adult male answered the phone and I asked him to check the bill. He immediately, and I mean right off the bat, became very agressive, loud and abrupt, repeating over and over, " Did you enjoy the food? Was the food delicious?" I told him it was fine, but that I wanted to confirm there hadn't been a mistake on the bill. He then angrily stated "I'll have to ring it up!" and started peppering me with questions about my order, while speaking over me as I tried to answer. "We had one pizza with half bac..." "So, one topping, then!" ... and so on. I described the whole order while he rang it up and curtly listed all the items and prices. He then stated that I had been charged correctly. I agreed and started to ask him if the prices he quoted would be reflected somewhere online. In the middle of my sentence he abruptly, and without another word, hung up the phone in my ear. This review is not about the food, which was delicious. Nor is it about the prices, which I thought were somewhat high but simply wanted to confirm were correct. This review is about the man on the phone, who was angry and annoyed that a customer was wasting his time with what he felt was a frivoulous billing question. It was a shockingly unprofessional exchange.The way he spoke to me left me very upset and frustrated at his outrageous overeaction. I'm so upset, in fact, that this will be my last order, even though my family and I have been frequent customers of the Four 66 for many years. I can't understand how this guy felt that type of verbal bullying was ok. If you're the owner and that was you, you deserve to lose my business. We used to frequent this spot years ago and loved the tips- this time we just tried a takeout pizza mushroom and pepperoni it was pretty good, I am picky about Pizza and although I wouldn't go out of my way for it here, I also would not be sad to get it here if in the area I would call it a "safe bet" it's good and if it's convenient you can't go wrong. Loud sports bar. Difficult to carry a conversation with others. Food was delicious but the menu is misleading. I ordered a Cobb Salad. (Chicken, Bacon, Eggs, Avocado, Cheese and greens) when the bill arrived there was a $6.00 upcharge for the chicken which should have been included. I argued my case to no avail. Have always enjoyed Four 66 but ... I ordered pizza Tuesday. I got home and realized there was NO CHEESE on the pizza. Now I asked for 1/2 pepperoni/black olive and 1/2 sausage/pepper/onion so maybe they thought that's all I wanted but really?? PLENTY of sauce so topping slid all over. It was so bad that after my husband and I each tried a piece, we threw the rest of the pizza away. The dog even turned his nose up. Not sure what was going on but I hope they figure it out. My wife and I like to go out for a good meal in a nice quiet restaurant. We tried this place and was shocked that the management let customers turn the TV volume up so high that you could not talk and had to point to the menu to order. The customers seem to be the type to yell and scream all night with no regard for anyone else. A very nice place to drive by. I give it a minus 1. My heart goes out to the cook who works so hard for people who could care less. The noise level is just plain unbearable. How management allows this is a disappointment. I was supposed to be on vacation in Florida this week but have been social distancing and staying in. I just really wanted a take out boiled dinner. I had gotten one (that turned out incredibly bad) from Spud's earlier and passed the Four 66 and saw their sign saying they had the dinner. About an hour later, since my first one was so bad, my dining partner and I went out and I got a boiled dinner from here. What a difference from my first boiled dinner attempt! The woman inside who was working was so nice. She actually asked how I was doing, said to stay safe, etc. Great customer service. And the dinner - it was amazing. So good! Perfectly boiled cabbage, potatoes, carrots and turnips and the brisket was amazing. This is going to be my go to place in the future for boiled dinner and I can't wait to go get a regular meal there once everything is back to normal. read more

Went to 466 in Danvers last night and will definitely be the last. Regular customers. Went a week ago and husband and I got the steak and cheese. Steak was far past well done. Ok everyone has a bad night. Went last night with son and family. Ordered 2 pizzas, salad with tips and hamburger. Pizzas came out and other items were nowhere to found. Waiter said they would be right out. Waited over 25 minutes for salad and burger before my husband called over waiter. Asked him where the other food was and told him that by now pizzas were cold. (We don't like to be eating while others wait especially after being told the other food was coming.) We were told there was a klitch in the kitchen and pizza and the other orders are on separate slips. They were supposed to hold the pizza until other food was ready. HUH? Pizza would still have been cold after waiting for other meals if held. Other meals finally came out. Pizza cold and did not taste 1/2 as good as it was before the renovation. We paid the $171 bill (W/o our tip which we paid in cash). Asked for to speak to manager who also happened to be the owner. Told me I should have asked for new pizzas right away when other meals came. And now the other entrees would be cold waiting for new pizzas. Owner response when told we were regular customers and would not be back his response before turning and walking away was "That's to bad" Guaranteed we will spend our money elsewhere.
