The parking lot has ample parking it is in a strip mall with several different businesses and a Chinese restaurant right next-door. The parking is ample for all the businesses. It is easy access right off Main Street. Locking in there were several employees working and they were all quite friendly and very smooth in their performance. I ordered a Subway melt on as a salad and they didn't give me any crazy looks like they do a lot of times and some other subways, they were happy to get out the supplies and start making the salad, all in all three people worked on it, one got out the bowl and the meats and slid it down, the next one put all the stuff in there, the third one chopped it up for me and added dressing, and then the last guy working there rang me up. I was feeling kind of important with everybody helping me like that. So the inside was very clean, they obviously take pride in this establishment. They interestingly had a box of cookies prepared at $4.69 so you could just grab and go which I thought was a good idea. In fact it was such a good idea that the guy behind me grabbed it and went. They have a good selection of bottled drinks, their drink station was very clean, I was super pleased to see that they use plastic bags inside the tea container so that the bacteria that is common in tea containers would not be in there is and as a result the tea tasted really good. The salad was perfect and probably the best salad I've ever had at the subway to be frank. Now I don't come to this town very often but when I do I'm going to make a point of stopping back at the Subway, good job subway!

It took 10 minutes for the staff to even acknowledge us even though there were like ten of them walking around. Took 20 minutes overall for a simple frosty and fries. The restaurant interior is dirty and filthy, with flies roaming the air. They also turned away customers that tried to come in before closing, and then locked us inside. Wow something smelled terrible. The frosties were melty. I'd make a Florida joke about this place, but I don't even want to disrespect Florida to that extent.

I walked in and waited for the person in front of me to finish their order while I looked over the menu. I'm not normally a breakfast person, so when I do grab breakfast it tends to be special and I go for things that are fun. I opted for a French Toast sandwich with an omelette and sausage in the middle of it. It took a couple of minutes to make, so I made myself comfortable at one of the tables. Once it came out, I was presented with exactly what I described... two pieces of french toast sandwiching an omelette and sausage. Just a light drizzle of syrup for the toast, and I was off to the races! It was quite good, though I can see if someone drowns it with syrup like I have seen some folks do it would be kind of strange. It was your typical Southern comfort food... fried chicken (not bad), smoked sausage (also not bad), meatloaf (good, but I haven't had it in a while, so my opinion may be biased), mashed potatoes, corn, rice, etc. The mashed potatoes were a bit odd, because when I poured some gravy on them, they instantly soaked up the gravy which is not an effect I am accustomed to. The food isn't bad. It's not great, but it isn't bad. It fills the stomach and quells hunger. About halfway through my meal, they ran out of fried chicken and decided to switch over to chicken fingers... so I tried one. This was definitely a poor choice... better to just leave it off the menu at that point and go over to some other protein... I noted that as I was leaving, they were putting out pork chops, which would have been a nice thing to try as well. I would love to try the ala carte menu at some point, but only if the other half of the restaurant is open and you can see the water. The biscuits were hard that you couldn't bite into them. the toast was cold. The pastry we're good as they were store-bought. Hashbrowns were so overcooked there were no potatoes in then just hard greasy bots. Bacon, sausage, eggs and sausage gravy were good. Grits were okay. Overall not a huge selection of foo. No fresh fruit or pancakes or waffles. They had cereal but no milk. I will say for a buffet price was good at 8.99 a person but the selection was limited and food way overcooked.

Laredo was just minutes away from us, open for dining in or takeout, and based on reviews we went in. Place was not busy, we got a table as soon as we walked in. They brought us water, the menu and their chips with salsa. They also brought a spicier salsa upon request. The menu has everything you expect from a Mexican restaurant: quesadillas, tacos, fajita, enchiladas... Something for everyone. We were going to order to go but when I saw they had queso fundido I had to order it and of course eat there as this is always best when immediately out of the oven. Well, that was disappointing and why I had to take away one star. The chorizo tasted and looked like it was from a can, and the queso, definitely not "real" cheese. We had to send it back, and thankfully our server was very gracious about it and took it off our check. Not only that, his friendly and attentive service did not change toward us. He kept checking up on us, recommended certain dishes and made sure drinks were to our liking and offering to change them if not. For dinner I got one of his recommendations, the shrimp fajitas and that was really good! Lots of roasted vegies, which I always love. On the side all the condiments: sour cream, lettuce, pico de gallo, chease and guace. Plus a side of delicious rice and refried beans. And, of course, warm tortillas.
