    Comp chips. Excellent salsa
    Tim S.

I'm very happy to say we found a good food option in town. We were staying at a cabin in the country nearby for a weekend and wanted to "go into town" and have something for dinner one night. We had looked and couldn't find much, so figured to drive around and see what was open. Laredo Mexican didn't look like much from the outside but we decided to go with it. We got a booth right away and service right after. A nice fella helped us get a couple drinks and some suggestions on the menu. The drinks were solid. The appetizer, queso fundido, was not right. Good news they took it away right away. The chips and salsa were excellent though. I got the fried burrito and my gal got the shrimp fajitas. I wasn't enjoying my meal that much but hers was very good. Mostly it was nice to get out. The ambiance was nice actually. There was some Mexican Ranchera music playing and the staff was always at the ready. It wasn't amazing, but it was a great stop, and maybe the best spot in town righty now.

They always start you off with fresh chips and salsa (and you can upgrade to a variety of different salsas for a small extra cost). The drinks are consistently well-made and never disappoint. Our go-to appetizers are the street corn, queso fundido, and the guacamole, everything tastes super authentic and full of flavor. We usually order our absolute favorite: the Monterey tacos (a must-try that you can only find at Agave Azul). It's basically a steak taco wrapped in a cheese tortilla, served with rice on the side,so good!!! This time, we switched it up and tried the steak fajitas, shrimp tacos, and taco salad, and every dish was delicious. And we can't forget the margaritas! high quality, perfectly balanced, and they definitely hit just right. We'll 100% keep coming back. This is our go-to spot for Mexican food in the area!

We went during social hour and got all the starters! The Guacamole Fresco and the Brisket empanadas were outstanding and easily our favorite dishes. Whether you go for the Churros with cajeta or the rich five-layer Pastel de Chocolate, you're in for a treat. Definitely worth a visit!

The manager was going back-and-forth between being in the kitchen as well as seating people at the hosting stand which led me to believe that there must've been call-ins or scheduling has just been not great. We ended up being seated, but had to wait for them to clear off a booth because they didn't wanna seat in the other section. They clearly had closed off. We ordered our food, but our server seemed really disengaged like she was just going through the motions. Food came out super quickly. I did order a sparkling sangria that was nonalcoholic and it basically just tasted like Pepsi so not exactly sure what it was supposed to taste like but it definitely didn't have any sangria flavoring. My husband got a glass of water, but sadly you could tell that they must've either just got it out of the sink or just hand wash it because you could literally taste the soap. I got an order of the tamales, which were good. They definitely are a little spicy so be aware of that if you are opposed to spice, but the serving was large and I ended up taking it home to have for lunch the next day. My husband got the Carnitas and I will say the Carnitas seem like they were more shredded then they were previously. Overall, it was an OK experience. It feels like perhaps as if management has changed because it's definitely not as friendly nor as organized as it used to be..

First off, the person at the counter was very helpful when ordering. The food was SO GOOD. I got the Quesabirra and OMG... amazing! My husband got a burrito, which was also really good. Surprisingly they were still open late at night. My friend and I ordered two Esquites for ourselves and she also got a refresca. I was very surprised to see our order. Our Esquite cup was $7.20 but it was much smaller than I thought it would be. It honestly looked like a sauce cup for Birria. Our cup was okay, it wasn't bad but it wasn't great. It had all the right ingredients. It tasted very average. But the thing that got me was that this was $7.20. I was under the impression that it would be a medium-ish size, and not the container that stores three lime slices when people order tacos for take out. The quality did not correlate with the price whatsoever. For me, it's three stars for the Esquite Cup but two stars overall just because it was disappointing. My friend also said that her drink wasn't that good too. So all in all, los precios (the prices) estan locos. We actually said that the prices were loco and her drink was burro so that pretty much sums up our experience.

The food was delivered pretty quick and was still warm so likely made fresh. The taquitos were crispy and delicious. They were birria and came with sour cream and guacamole. Neither of us ate steak and so we (think) we got 2x the chicken instead of the steak. With the fajitas for 2, it came with a portion of refried beans, rice salad and guac with 3 tortillas for each person. The serving of the fajitas was very big! It could be good for 3 people. The chicken were like strips - it was pretty good. The shrimp were really good. It wasn't chewy and flavorful. The fajitas plate was very hot and I think the plate overtime burnt the onions and peppers. The chips and salsa were good as well. Environment This seems to be a new location for winter garden. There are plenty of seats available - booth, bar and high tables. There is a lot of parking outside, i don't think you'd have to worry about parking. Niceness of the staff In the process of ordering and trying to understand the menu... as there was option on the fajitas for 1 protein, 2 protein (chicken and steak only) 3 protein (all 3). As I didn't want steak, there may have been some lost in communications. Nonetheless, it was a surprise as to what really happened... The server wasn't as knowledgeable or didn't have the understanding of what I wanted to achieve.. lesson learned - try not to substitute.. don't confuse them Dollar The fajitas for 2 was 49$ Yes/No yea why not
