It's okay. On a plus note have got a decent deal on shoes and sandals here. This is more for a younger crowd. They definitely have a lot of shoes. As for sports gear mediocre. I wish they had more of that. One positive is excellent customer service. Here they welcome you in, and they always have good amounts of stock available. Unlike Foot Locker I do appreciate this. The service sucks. They give you the run around. We waited over an hour for the new Jordan shoes. Wasted my time for nothing.

Been here a few times before but didnt really remember. Came here to watch my football team play on Sunday. I liked that the hostesses could tell you which screen your team's game would play on. There's also enough TVs that you can watch most of the games at once. I also liked the crowed a lot better than the rowdy one at Buffalo Wild Wings, where I usually go to watch games. It got busy around 1 when all the games came on and I got there 15 minutes before and got the perfect seat because no one was there yet. Much better than most sports bars. The menu is overwhelming with so many good choices and everything sounds good. The wings were good, drinks too. And the burger I ordered was perfection. Also liked the wedge fries. Service was good too. Our waitress kept checking on us which I like. Only complaint I had was the wooden stool style seats with your legs dangling.... VERY uncomfortable. Maybe an hour and you're good but about 3 hours on that thing was awful. I had to stand towards the end. The person I was with agreed too. But overall this is a great place to watch the game. Even though this is a great store, the employees (African American female manager in the evening shift) ruin it. She accused us (customers) of lying about our government ID (which makes you eligible for a discount), when she could have simply said I can't do it, sorry. I would not shop at this store until they teach their "manager" how to treat customers with respect. read more

One bad experience here is sufficient for me to consider never patronising a Champs establishment ever again, unfortunately. I had usually enjoyed going to Champs for Sunday afternoons football games here and elsewhere - not as a weekly regular, per se, but, still, one who liked the restaurant sufficiently to show up several times a season. This one particular afternoon, however, I was haggled throughout my meal by a fellow middle-aged customer who, it became evident to me only afterward, had a bit too much to drink before my arrival. Here he was hurling all sorts of insults toward me - nothing vulgar or explicit, but nonetheless rather unnecessary and by no means civil. The manager on duty came by, red-eyed exhausted and out to save his own tail, came by just after said customer departed (after another round of unprovoked insults). He was not interested in hearing sides - he was told that I was just as loud as the other and that he did not want any scenes at his restaurant. I approached him after my meal and game. Handing him my check personally: "Hey, mate, listen, I know that you didn't see anything personally, and I know that you've had a long day. I'm more than happy to pay for my meal and everything today, and want to just move on. But, usually, when a customer is confronted by another drunk and angry customer and experiences an unpleasant time here at the restaurant, you really have to do more than say, 'We do not want any scenes here at this restaurant.' I did not cause a confrontation, I did not exacerbate it - I was unprovoked and insulted for no real reason by a bad customer, and all you thought about doing was giving me a stern talking-to because I was the only one of the two parties left when you came over." At which he flicked me off and walks away. Then chased me as I walked out the door, saying, "Hey, there, come here for a minute. I'm going to treat this as if you walked out on your check, and would appreciate it if you never came back here ever again. You don't tell me how to do my job." Never mind everything else. He might have completely misunderstood me, and I might have misunderstood him. But even after all that, accusing me, a regular patron who was crudely insulted by another customer throughout the afternoon, of doing something I clearly did not do (walk out on a check), and then banning me from a restaurant against which I had personally done no wrong - now, tell me whether anyone would want to return to such establishment ever again. read more

I am a big fan of Champs. There beer selection is admirable, the food has yet to properly disappoint and the staff has never been anything but friendly. For a chain restaurant Champs really does it right. They have numerous TVs and a long well stocked bar. It's a good place to watch a game or just grab a bite to eat. This visit was for lunch. Got a burger, the best kind of burger to be exact, a stuffed burger. It was good. Not as great as I had wanted it to be but I still finished it. The burger itself was a bit greasy but that could have been the kind of cheese that was mixed in it. I feel it would have benefited from some cheese on top and maybe a bit more seasoning. It had some kind of special aioli or mayo but it was meh and got lost in the flavor of the lettuce. Yeah, the lettuce overpowered the sauce. But other than that it was good. The only real downside to this location is that its located on the second floor and the bathrooms are on the first. It's actually quite inconvenient, but that being the only complaint I would come back if I were in the area again. read more

hope that no one has to go here for anything. spoke with manager about an exchange he was really rude. when i was going to exchange my product for something in the store there was no problem but when i said it was a gift and might want to look at footlocker to buy sneakers as well he became rude and short saying i had to have receipt because these shoes came from Eastbay but they didnt. i said you can scan the shoes and if it did it wont ring up. he insisted on telling me no he needs receipt.m i make call get receipt and show him then he tells me that im getting a different amount than whats shown on receipt because shipping but if he is the manager and knows what he is doing and looking at he could see that shipping was free. all he kept saying is i got this i got this and then said oh my bad your right . GIOVANI needs to go back to training and learn some customer service skills. read more
