I shared my need and was told more were upstairs in VS, so I made my way upstairs to grab the goods! I found 7 cute undies (mix and match with thong and cheeky) for $37! Terrible terrible service here and misleading signage. They had a $35 sign for everything on the rack, half of it being the glow waffle pajama set and the other half being filled with the black pajama set. Bought the black set under the impression it was $35 and when I was charged full price I kindly asked the teenage cashier about it since it was on the same rack in which she responded with an attitude saying "oh it was probably just placed on the wrong rack" as if it was my fault for not knowing. Quickly finished my transaction before I could put in an email address for the receipt and shooed me out even though it was slow and there was no line behind me. She also did not include any tissue paper or wrapping of the items- which they usually do for the bag, leaving it looking empty. The kicker is that on the receipt both items have the same name insinuating that they were part of the same deal, so it seems to be an error in their part. But the fact they did not acknowledge their own mistake at all is extremely off putting. Especially, if I'm paying $100 for two items. They ended up removing the sign from the rack afterwards after realizing their mistake. read more

9/28/19 Does the clothes... lingerie make the woman or does it go hand and hand? Victor loves his secrets, as well as skinny women. Plus size models are not what he is into and from the pictures and TV views, it is quite clear. Victoria's Secret does sell women's plus size garments, but that is about it. The employees of Victoria Secret (males too) come in different sizes so it would be nice to see plus size models at Victoria's Secret. Speaking of staff the member, they were nothing but helpful from the time we walked into the store and out. My wife was having some trouble getting rung up, but the team worked together to solve the issue with great attitudes. My wife is losing weight so she will be back for a whole new wardrobe soon...it will be costly, but very nice to see on her. We shall return. read more

I have called for the past 4 weeks about my application. I have spoke with Jackie the hiring manager numerous times and she said she will call me back or she says that the system is down, I gave my availability as well and she said perfect. Then when I called back today 4/21 Jasmine ( store manager) says they are no longer hiring. I applied the day it posted and have called every 3 days and gave my availability and phone number. I'm not sure what's going on over there but I'm starting to feel discriminated against. I don't really see any diversity amongst the staff when I enter the store and call the store. This is my favorite VS in the region. The layout and the merchandise they have here is extensive. I love the jumbotron that plays past VS fashion shows. The store is bright, organized and clean!!! Unlike other mall type Vickie's that looks old and messy. I get good customer service every time so I don't get why the low stars. Lines are long because A:you're here on the weekend and majority of folks are off... B: most employees are on the floor helping us customers to make sure we get what we want in a timely manner. In the Pink store they carry UVA collegiate wear hence the store is in VA but it looks good! They also carry DC sports wear too. It's definitely worth coming to this location. read more

Why is the service so slow at this location? I was here on Sunday morning and was the 5th customer in line with one cashier with more people lining up behind me. The was one other cashier who seemed to be helping one lady the whole time i was there. Anyway, it was frustrating because once I got up to the counter my translation took less than 2 minutes. I find the staff to be friendly and informative for the most part. I don't mean this to be a blanket statement, but in my most recent experiences, two put of the three male employees who have rung me at the register have been rude and unresponsive. The female employees are much more respectful and kind. Very neatly organized store and the dressing rooms have always been clutter free. read more

I was in town on business and stopped by to get something for someone. Upon entering the store, I mingled for a while in the Pink section of the store. Twice I passed the young woman working the front entrance and I said hi to her. She didn't even bother to greet me or say hello in return. Wow. I decided to see if maybe she didn't see me the first two times so I stayed in the area and passed her again, saying hi. She looked at me and kept working on her tablet. For about 10 minutes, no one working there said anything to me. I realize they may not get a lot of men of color that visit the store but staff should still greet customers and ask if they can be of service. I headed toward the back of the first level and finally started to receive good customer service. Jeanette (I may be spelling her name incorrectly, my apologies) greeted me and asked if I needed any help. I said yes and told her what I was seeking. She let me know that what I was looking for could be found on the 2nd floor. I headed upstairs but immediately came back to ask her name because I feel you should thank/praise people when they are professional and courteous. After that, I made it to level two of the store and again, none of the young women up there said anything to me. I don't know if they see this job as a given or a nightclub, but they need some serious customer service training. Being from California I am kind of used to women walking around acting like they are the sh*t but even in Cali, they greet me and ask to assist me. Finally a young lady handed me a bag and asked if she could help me. Her name was Reina (again, I may have the spelling incorrect). She was really great. She not only took time to help me she was helping about 3 other customers and she did a great job. She assisted me in picking out several pieces and she was very patient with me. She embodies what some of the other VS staff should emulate. If it were not for Jeanette and Reina, and also the young lady that checked me out downstairs (didn't get her name but cashier 1882362), this review would be scathing and I would even consider writing VS corporate. If this manager of this location reads the review I would suggest some additional training for your staff. Some of them need some serious education on how to greet, assist and thank customers. I may visit this location again, but I doubt it. read more

I would give this store 0 star if I could. My wife took her aunt to this Victoria Secret store at Tyson Corner and was treated like criminals with false accusations and discrimination. While shopping at that store, my wife put a credit card on one of the shelves to check out the lotions (my cousin gave her that card to pay for her aunt, he was shopping around at the other stores). An employee immediately came out and ask for her IDs, then accused her of stealing the card and threaten to call police on her. My wife told them just go ahead and call the police 'cause she didn't do anything wrong. Meanwhile, she called my cousin to get back in the store to provide his ID to prevent any further misunderstandings. However, the store associate did not even want to wait for him, she demanded to see MY WIFE's PHONE??? Then the associate took the card with her and nowhere to be found. After a while, another lady came out to apology because of "the language barrier". During the incident, my wife and the associate were able to communicating with each other just fine. So there were not any "language barrier" at all, my wife can speak English fluently. Those are just signs of racial profiling with false accusations. I've been struggling with my bra fit...thinking I'm between 34Cand 34C. I got bras in those sizes and went to the fitting room and the first thing the staff (Stephanie) asked was if I needed a fitting. I had no idea they offered fitting service and I thought, 'I know my size and will pick between the two. However, upon trying both sizes, there was again something that just wasn't quite right w either fit. Because I remembered that Stephanie offered fitting, I asked her to measure me for proper size. I come here once a week! I only walk in if Reyna, Karen or Jackie are working! They are the best and they know what I want and need and they are super friendly and helpful! They know I don't like to waste time so they grab what I need so I can be in and out! It is important for people at retail stores to not only provide great service but to also know your regulars and take care of them! They are amazing I love all 3 of them! I do not like to work with any other manager other than Jackie because they aren't as nice, helpful and efficient as Jackie! We couldn't find a size small, but Reina checked the mannequin, wearing a small, and took it right off. My girlfriend and I were looking forward to shopping in this 2 story Victoria's Secret / PINK store today. There is so much inventory and variety of everything you're looking for; a fun store to shop at. However, I will caution any future visitors that the girls on the PINK floor are just plain rude. They grouped up (1 Spanish chick and 2 African Americans) and stared at us the entire time, whispering and rolling their eyes. It made for an incredibly uncomfortable experience considering Victoria's Secret is suppose to be about women empowerment. You all should send in some Secret shoppers to see what kind of customer service these ladies are giving. It sounds good in theory...a trip to a lingerie store with the girlfriend (even if it is the Victoria's Secret in Tysons Corner Center). In actuality, it's far less pleasurable in every sense of the word "pleasure". First, this store is not geared to for women bringing their guys in tow. Otherwise, there would be a waiting lounge with comfortable recliners for guys to watch sports and maybe have a beer while their girlfriend/wife/mistress is in the dressing rooms trying things on. Instead, guys are standing around (not copping a squat), staring intently at their smartphones, so as to not steal furtive glances at other women lingerie shopping and risk being caught by women who are already viewing your presence in the store with suspicion. Frankly, Seabiscuit had less effective blinders on than me! Second, it is Victoria's Secret. The models in the signage throughout the store are computer generated. I'm sure that if I were looking at anything other than my iPhone, I wouldn't have seen anyone that looked like those models in the entire store. With regards to the shopping experience, if the gf is pleased, then I'm pleased. One of the sales associates must've been very helpful since Carol left with the telltale VS bag. I am admitting that I am a VS Angel. Free underwear is just another way I think savings will make me rich one day. And it's not "cheap" either. I do get the catalogues in the mail, where I'm reminded that I can't fit the pants because my body just doesn't look that way, but I should still feel sexy in whatever I wear. The free perks occur about once a month and include an extra special giftcard on my birthday. I am actually getting something for nothing. It's a pretty sweet deal if you ask me. The only disadvantage is that when I go in to redeem my free wares, I have to dodge all the salespeople that want me to get $10 off a $50 bra, or buy 7 more panties. It's pretty annoying because it's just pushy. Sometimes I'll try stuff on, but it's rare to find something I love. It's a fine line between skanky and foxy. Like most fitting rooms, you can hear the girls gossiping and at my last visit it was all about dieting and starving themselves. How depressing! Wow- after reading Jake's review, that would make me hate the place, too... The Good: I was pretty impressed with this Vicky's location, primarily because of their ridiculously huge inventory. You can try on sportswear, bathingsuits, intimates, and they have a new collection - intimissimi (either from Europe or made to look that way). Normally all of that stuff is catalog-order only, one of the things I hate about VS is that you have to mainly order everything meaning you'll be lucky if the fit is right. I always wanted to order a bathingsuit from them but since I'm not Gisele, Heidi, or Adriana... bathingsuits can be a nightmare or a dream come true (with the dream suits only happening after trying on 100 nightmare-worthy bikinis). SO... that being said, being able to try on a few of the bikinis at this location made me more willing to order online. Their Intimissimi collection is amazing- finally some sheer intimates that are actually sheer. Besides that, they're less expensive than the other VS items. The Bad: I mean, fo' real... y'all gotta keep the heat up to 104 degrees? The Ugly: The salespeople. *This is where Jake and I agree* First of all, on that whole Angels card business, a clerk in the dressing room went on the most annoying shpiel about the stupid rewards card to Alexa B. for probably four minutes without taking a breath. "It's-a-really-good-way-to-get-free-things-and-we-have-a-lot-of-really-great-free-things-it's-suchanamazingopportunityohmygodpleasesignuppleasepleasepleaseplease!" Yes that's basically what she said. She reminded me why I never shop here, but was "forced" to because of recent gift cards I received. My gosh - your field is customer service in retail - one of the largest stores in the US. I am sorry if I did not remember Laney's name right away when you asked me who was helping me today and then proceeded to chastise me for it, and then flip the script at the end and say it's HER fault because she must not have "wow'd [you] enough. They're supposed to wow you" she snapped. Ha! Guess who un-wowed me? You. Guess who has kept me from spending anymore money here. You. Awww-full customer service!!!! Honestly, how difficult is it not to yell at customers and swipe a credit card folks? Terribly hard for one princess cashier apparently. As 7 people stand in line, said young cashier twice yells at everyone to form three lines (oh and there are 4 cashiers...) No special ropes, signs, etc indicating the queue policy. Soooo... Being a proactive shopper, I tell Cashier Princess that perhaps in the future a manager can successfully "organize" customers with ropes or signs instead of having an employee rudely yelling at us. She stared blankly back at me and said, "would you like to speak with a manager?" I answered no, that's not what I asked for or said. I would just appreciate not getting yelled at. To top off the so-far excellent PR, my credit card wouldn't read despite twice swiping it and my oh-so-smart cashier swiping it and stating, "not working." Following Miss Manners advice, I don't argue & just try my bank card. Didn't work either, so I ask to pay with check & call my credit card company, Capitol One, as another cashier helps the super-smart one, figure out how to solve my payment dilemma. The sweet credit card person tells me there was no evidence of Victoria Secret even swiping the card, meaning their card reader wasn't working and had the Princess manually entered the numbers, it would have worked. Lastly, Miss Princess asked me if I wanted a box and yes, I did- for the item I had JUST purchased (bathrobe). So the cashier holds up a bra box and asks if it's ok! Ummm...critical thinking skills were amiss here because she sneered and said they didn't have anything bigger. So why did she offer me a flipping box? I get that holidays are tough for retailers but that doesn't excuse rude, incompetent sales clerks at Victoria Secret. Yuck! read more

As I'm a regular Victoria Secret shopper I had a bad experience at this Victoria Secret today, January 2, 2020 at 8:30pm. I spend so much money in this store & have about everything in it. Went in the Tyson's mall location today and all the sales people were very nice. As I've been in the store so many times and kept forgetting my birthday coupon which had expired a month ago they would not honor it. The manager wasn't nice and was just like nope! And that was it then she was on her way. Of course I still purchase my items but was turned off by her in customer service attitude. There was no I'm so sorry but.... I go to Potomac Mills Victoria Secret because there was an item I wanted but a different color and they NICELY accepted my coupon. I won't go back into the Tyson's location. All the money I spend with them and just the way that manager handled me was just not welcoming. read more
