But the service is great, they are pricey - but I've never waited longer than 2-5 minutes and they get you in and out quickly. Every time I walk in I'm automatically received by greetings and smiles ( I'm heavy on the customer service coming from a bartender herself ) I always come with my inspiration picture or pictures on hand that way they know what kind of nails I'm going for . As for there cleanliness since I'm seeing so much of on the reviews , every time I'm there they are constantly sanitizing and keeping the area around others clean so I have nothing to say about that . My sets are always lovely and I always walk out satisfied! as to the prices I feel like I pay for what I'm getting plus a little more .., working in the service industry.. I feel like why not go somewhere to what best suits YOUR BUDGET ( and normalize tipping they work hard just as everyone else ) if you must know doing nails and all these designs .., is AN ART if not why do we need to get them done by others ( because we can't or Don't want to do it ourselves) !!!. The most humiliating experience I've ever had at a nail salon. From the moment I sat down, I felt disrespected and disregarded. A young man--who couldn't have been older than 18 or 20--started my pedicure. He acted as if he couldn't understand a word of English, yet immediately tried to upsell me to the most expensive pedicure option. I repeatedly told him I only wanted the basic service--I take great care of my feet and get pedicures regularly. He seemed visibly irritated that I wouldn't spend more. After soaking my feet and barely rubbing them, he abruptly announced he was finished. I was stunned--he hadn't touched my cuticles, and worse, my feet actually felt rougher than when I walked in. I was confused and disappointed. Before I could fully process that, an older man took over to do my nails. I asked for a medium length, and he insisted, "No, no--you get short." I politely corrected him, but instead of listening, he cut my nails all the way down without permission and walked off mid-service. At this point, I was beyond frustrated. The female manager finally stepped in to finish my nails, but the damage was already done. The shape, the length--everything looked horrible because of what he did. And yet, I still remained calm, paid my bill, and left with grace. But let me be clear: I will never return to this place again. I'm deeply disappointed by how poorly I was treated--not just as a paying customer, but as a human being. And what hurt even more? As I sat there, clearly uncomfortable and embarrassed, they began laughing and speaking in their language--right in my face. It was degrading and absolutely unacceptable. I'm tired of businesses setting up in Black communities, gladly taking our money while giving us subpar, disrespectful service. If I could give zero stars, I would. One will have to do. As a nail technician myself, I have never had a worse experience at a nail shop me and my mother came in for two pedicures and an eyebrow wax. They had us sitting at the pedicure station for 15 minutes before someone came and put water in the bowl. They do not clean out these pedicure bowls in between services they never showed us any colors. They are very dismissive. The staff was literally standing around staring at us for 10 minutes. They barely scrubbed our feet with the pumice stones and then try to use an illegal cheese grater on my mom's feet. She still has hair all over her eyebrows. This is a get you and get you out type of salon. It will not be personable. They are not here to build any type of relationship with the customers terrible way to run your business. I have Polish all in my cuticles they cut my nails in places. I asked them not to lobbed on Polish that eventually came off and we just came and got our toes done yesterday. If I could give this place NO stars, it would be exactly that. This salon lacks professionalism, cleanliness, and basic skills of what a nail tech should be. I should have listened to the reviews and went with it but I wanted to give it a shot since it was the closest shop by me. How this place is still even open blows my mind. The work area is dirty. For the price you would think that you are paying for great quality. Pedicure was rushed and they kept pressuring me for these little add ons of more charge that I did not want. I left disappointed and my polish chipped 3 days after. Overview: this place is actually dirty, they're not friendly, the skill sets are basic and I'd be surprised if any of the nail techs have licenses that are in compliance. Would not recommend. -- I've given this place 2 times before writing a review. From the outside, this place appears to be a place where you'd receive good service and at least a decent set of nails....but not at all I first visited in November when I moved into the area. The employees weren't very welcoming and did a terrible job on my full set and pedicure. The place was also very dusty and seemed like it hadn't been cleaned for a while. I let it go because it was toward the end of the day and maybe they had a busy day ‍. My nails were super thick and my coffin shape was practically only one side of each nail. I took the L for that and decided this place wasn't for me. This time, I was in a jam and needed a fill. I was short on time and this place was the closest. I got a fill-in with the sloppiest nail tech I've ever seen. His station was filled with random things and dirty. He rushed everything and didn't seem to care or notice that he was drilling my skin, even when I pulled away. The top coat he used was full of debris and made the set lumpy (didn't notice right away). Before I left, I noticed that one of my nails was cracked on the acrylic. I told him and he said it was my real nail and filed it. The next day, the cracked nail broke while I was typing! Note: the acrylic was cracked and not my real nails (my real nails were below the crack) I get my nails done on schedule and I tip well and I'm polite despite the lackluster atmosphere I came back to get it repaired per their 3 day policy. The same guy had to repair the nail . I sat down and he says nothing and aggressively starts shoving nail tips under the acrylic to remove the rest...with no regard to my real nail ripping up with it. I grabbed the tip from him and had to gently finish what he was trying to do. He fixed the nail, left my hand dusty while trying to put the topcoat on. I made him wipe it off and washed my hands so it wouldn't be lumpy and told him my other nails were lumpy...did he try and fix it ....noooooo. read more

Horrible experience. I've given this place chance after chance and I am continuously disappointed. The lady didn't even put the finishing coat on my gel nails. There is also an up charge due to COVID-19 which I haven't seen from other places. I would recommend going anywhere else because you pay an arm and a leg here for less than sub par service. I will not be giving my hard earned money back to this establishment. In addition the young lady wouldn't honor my discount because the manager wasn't there. I asked to place a note on my receipt stating this so next time it could be honored and they refused to give me a receipt. Went here to get my eyebrows waxed today. The lady that did them continually offer me services that I did not request even after I told her no. Once my brows were waxed they were just ok compared to how I like them and how I normally get them done. Lastly, the skin where my brows were waxed swelled up after getting them done but they went down after a while. This was a first for me. read more

Disappointed. I paid $38 + tip for gel nails. I didn't even get a manicure. There are lots of fees and up-charges here, that I'd be ok with if the work was quality. * I came in Friday morning with a picture of the design I wanted. Instead of hand drawing it, Daniel glued lemons on to my nail. Also, he drilled the tops of my nails in preparation for acrylic tips (which I did not ask for.) * By 8pm that evening, a nail was broken and another chipped * I returned the following day to have the 2 nails repaired. Daniel told me it was the fault of my thin nails (that were thinned from him drilling them down!) that they were chipped and broken but agreed to re-do the chipped nail. * By that evening the same nail chipped in the same place, but bigger . Also, i lost one of the glued on designs in the shower. *This morning a nail on my other hand chipped. *And finally, the remaining glued on design has come off. After just a weekend, I have to remove these nails completely. They look crazy. The gel is the thinnest I've ever had and this was the most I've ever paid. I won't be back. read more

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE I came into the salon and spoke with two different people BEFORE I sat at the pedicure station for this woman to service me. The water pressure wasn't working at the first two stations we tried and at the third one the pressure was fine. Mind you I didn't not complain I said NOTHING because I'm a licensed master Cosmetologist myself AND I specialize in nails so I understand when things aren't working correctly. As a person period I understand. During the service she did not properly clean my feet, she didn't speak, she couldn't understand what I was saying, she yanked and pulled on my feet/ankles, she was so nonchalant throwing things in the pedicure bowl, she was just rude all around. But again I SAID NOTHING. When I went to check out I asked one of the first people I spoke to for her license number. He said "I can't give you her license, it's in the bank on her desk". So I asked them to go and get it. I never said I wasn't paying for my pedicure, at the end of the day she completed the service, but I have every right to file a complaint. And trust and believe state board wiLL DEFINITELY hear about this ! They kept refusing to give me her license she blamed me and said something about "as soon as you walked in" lmao when she wasn't even the one to greet me ! Just lies. I told her "she's not licensed" she shouldn't be doing ANY services in that salon. I kept repeating I'm a master Cosmetologist, the guy then said "we need to see paper work" lol so I showed him my license. She walked up on me asking me "why do you want my licensed, no I'm not giving it to you" etc. ANY LICENSED MASTER COSMETOLOGIST, NAIL TECH, ESTHETICIAN, ETC. KNOWS THAT ALL LICENSES SHOULD BE UP AND POSTED FOR CLIENTS TO SEE FOR SITUATIONS LIKE THIS !!!!!! Y'all aren't licensed up there and you know what will happen if state board pops up. If I could give this place 1000 stars I would!!! My best friend and I saw pictures of Daniel's work online and immediately called to schedule an appointment. When we got there we were warmly greeted and had all a questions answered by the employee at the front desk. He was very friendly and he really made us feel real comfortable with it being our first time there. Daniel did my friends nails first while I was being set up for mine to soak. The way they treated us made us feel Like celebrities lol as I watched my friend get her nails done I just got more and more excite because they looked so good and he took his time throughout each step of the process. Overpriced, poor quality of work, poor paint job on hands and feet, poor customer service and poor resolution. I will not return to spend $$ again ever. Waste of $168 for services for my daughter and I. My daughter's nails looked unprofessional, uneven polish job, uneven filing and buffing. Tech LiLi was rude, loud and improperly charged me for a service that I didn't request. Gel polish fill in and basic spa pedicure for my daughter was the request - I was charged for solar color powder fill in - yes it was a higher price point that I did not ask for. My daughter was missing one thumb nail and this tech charged $6.50 to add a tip to my 10 yr old's nails. So the tech purposely took advantage. I told the manager about my daughter's nails, he told me to get the tech Lili to fix it. She took her time and never fixed the issue. I ran out of patience waiting and left never to return. No adjustments were made to my total, no apologies or remorse for the issue at all and I left spending full price and extra $$ for poor work from a nail shop. My nails weren't painted properly bc I could see my natural nail very easily due to improper powder distribution and poor paint job. I've never seen my natural nail like this and this was day 1 not after a week or longer having the nails on. I understand covid impacted a lot of businesses and costs are rising everywhere however be upfront with charges, do your job properly, serve the customers well and don't be rude either. And it was my daughter's birthday and she left the shop with messed up nails. I could have painted her nails better. read more

Had an OK experience. Got a spa pedicure, manicure,brows and lashes done. I have a personal nail tech. I'm used to going to Black lash techs. But. I was in a hurry for the holiday time. The tech here went super fast. I mean super duper fast. She finished in like 10-15 mins. It looked like she was using black track glue. Afterwards. I felt discomfort to where each time I blink I can feel slight scraping on my eyes and my eyes were itchy. Idk If I had a reaction to that glue or what. Thought it was gonna wear off. The next day came and it didn't get any better. So. I took them off with lash remover and warm water. My eye that was irritated the most look swollen on the lid. I give this place 3 stars because the atmosphere is nice and welcoming but the service I received was lacking. I came for a fill-in, with gel polish already on my nails. The technician was so rough removing the polish, my nails began to hurt. I told him and he eased up so that was good. He had to fix two nails that were broken and ended up getting a thick layer of acrylic under both nails. This is actually an easy fix, but i was a little scared. When he began filing after doing the fill-in he got close to my cuticle on a few nails. I didn't ask for a new tech because everyone has to learn and a person can improve if you don't give criticism. I was scared to have him drill under my nails for this reason, but he did well. A different tech ended up coming to polish my nails, and this is where I got a little irritated. I selected a gel color, that ended up not being available. When he came back to tell me that the color wasn't available and to select a different one, i asked for him to check two colors and he didn't like that. He seemed irritated that I would ask him to look for two colors, but I figured it was easier than having him go back and forth. Well by the time he painted that new color on 3 nails, I realized I hated it the way it looked on my fingers and I asked him to change it - he really had an attitude now. But it was before I had to go under the UV light so it was an easy fix. The upside is that my nails still look good after 2 weeks. Oh and if you want to get the 20% off your first visit, make an appointment, otherwise they'll just offer $5 for walk ins. Despite everything, I would go back and give them another try, just different techs next time. I'll update thie review when i go. read more
