Ok this is my 2nd visit here!! I came here last month before my cruise. I absolutely love Ben!! He is amazing with his hands :-). My first visit was faster but that was on a Tuesday. This visit was on a Saturday at 11:00 a.m. a very busy time. Parking was fine I parked in the parking lot. There are parking spots near the door if available. The owner of the shop greeted me and I told him my service needed and requested Ben and signed in. My overall experience was decent I waited for 10 minutes then Nina started me with removing the old SNS. As she worked on me Ben was finishing up. Once he completed, I was moved to the pedicure chair for soaking. Ben and Nina both worked on my nails and feet until complete. Ben does an exceptional job. I had a soreness on the side of my big toe and he removed all the skin and nail. It may have been an ingrown nail my sister said but BABY if I could tell you how much relief I got. He is professional and gentle with my feet. He is not scared to remove all skin my any means necessary lol. He takes pride in scaling off the skin :-). I gave them 4 stars for my eyebrows LOL I hate them I'm sorry; 2nd time trying them. Thumbs down I don't have a lot of hair and my top lining of my eyebrows are not straight lol. If i could give zero stars i would! Took my husband to get his nails done and they cut his nails and they started bleeding. We just wanted something simple. Definitely will not be Returning!! Go somewhere else because the Mangaer/ owner is very rude!! And doesn't care!! We came back a second time to give them a chance but he refuse to serve my husband because they made him bleed. I live relatively close to this shop so I used to frequent here. Lately the shop has went down. There usually is a long wait ( more than 20 minutes) now and the quality of work sucks. I went in for a basic full set. I wanted a crescent moon on two of my fingers and the staff couldn't freehand the design or had a sticker/ stamp. I also witnessed another customer upset because they couldn't do her nail design she wanted. The woman doing my nails also burnt me three times with the drill while trying to file my cuticles. When painting my nails she also didn't paint all the way to the side of my finger. As you can see she also shaped my thumb nail crooked. I will no longer be returning here. At this point I'm willing to pay more and go somewhere else. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! read more

Very friendly, but the business aspect should be better. They do your acrylic nails before they even prep them. After they finish your nails is when they then cut the hang nails, didn't even push the cuticle back. So your nails lift immediately when they start to grow and get snagged on everything. The nails were all different lengths and the French tips were also. She also tried to paint over a hair stuck in the nail and didn't fix it until I asked 3 times. She wanted me to walk out with a black hair in my nails so she didn't have to do the extra work to fix it. They also use the same stick for the wax.... read more

Won't be back. I came in and asked for an overlay and a polish change ($10), I was told to select a full set ($30) on the screen where they have you sign in. I sat down and she asked if I wanted acrylic or SNS for my overlay. I said acrylic, she proceeded to talk me into getting SNS. I asked were they the same price because I didn't want to pay more for SNS, she says yes they were the same price. After she finishes my nails she tells me my total would be $50. Clearly more than the $40 that I was told my nails would cost. When I asked why she stated that it was because I got SNS. So pretty much, she just flat out lied. I asked because I didn't want to pay more than $40 for my nails. I wanted acrylic, why would I pay more for something I didn't even want? On top of her lying about the price of my service, it was a half ass service at best. My nails look fine but she didn't trim my cuticles at all and she didn't even have me wash my hands before she started, which means she's dipping everyone's nasty fingers in the same container and just closing it back up. What exactly am I paying $40 for if all you're doing is dipping my finger in some dirty powder? Me and my family used to come here all of the time when we lived nearby but NEVER EVER again. read more

This is what I got at this nail salon. I explained that my nails looked like they were sitting on top of my fingers. The response was, "We can't paint all the way down the nail, there will be a space there". The guy who was doing my nails was fine until I asked him to clean up some of the extra nail polish. Then he grabbed my hand roughly because I wasn't happy with his work. I will never return there. As for the "Ken" guy, I spoke to him and he said he wasn't Ken. I'm done giving my money to these nail salons who come in the black community wanting our money but giving poor customer care. I'm so done. read more

Worst experience ever. I will never return and have told everybody I know not. Mind you I waited an hour for Ben to do my pedicure and he was so rude and unprofessional . Never allow him to do your pedicures . He is biased and racist . He asked me to get up and did not put my shoes on. I asked could be assist with my shoes. He picked my shoes up off the floor and threw them at me and stayed " put your own shoes on". I was so baffled I had to keep my composure / although I did ask him did he have a problem and I made sure to make it clear to NEVER speak to me in that tone nor throw anything at me . I've been to this place twice . First time it was ok, with the exception they kept trying to give me gel color ( cost more) even though I told them several times I did not want gel . My visit the second time was less than stellar. I asked for almond nails, I was shaped into stilettos. The shape is big ,bulky and amateur looking . I showed my displeasure with the nails and was ignored . My pedicure was fine , until my paint chipped the next day . Should I mention I literally did nothing but put my sandals on , leave the shop and continue working at my desk for 4 hrs go home ( no chip) , sleep and woke up with chipped toe nails ? They try to up sell you the whole time . They did the gel dance several times ( which fine , you're a business I get it but after the third no, STOP). When I got my pedicure I was given the book on the page with deluxe specialty pedicures . I flipped the page to the regular pedicure section, to which I was met with a ' no no next page pick' - I told her no I wanted a standard pedicure to which she stated ' no no pick scrubs * referring to the $10 more packages*'. I again told her no I wanted the regular . Which was than met with her speaking to coworkers obviously annoyed with me . My pedicure was than rushed . Even with this I tipped $5, to which the woman showed displeasure, as she watched me write the tip in and said $5? For both ? We both did it . I should have scratch the tip out all together since I was unhappy with the service but I did not .And simply said yes , $5 tip is all . Luckily for me I do not live in this area and only make the stop when I'm here for work purposes so it easy for me to skip this shop all together and just wait to get back to midtown . I would not recommend , the service isn't great and staff isn't what I would call helpful or friendly . Altogether it's a barely mediocre shop. read more

Just moved to Atlanta about 4 months ago. Finding a great nail salon is just a difficult as finding a hair stylist. Modern nails did a great job! These are gel nails. I like them a lot better then the SNS. They stay strong and never chip. Friendly service, a little pricey, but you definitely get good quality. read more

I miss living in Ga and getting my brows done here. The girl that did my eyebrows had a libra tattoo on her arm and she was real laid back and friendly. I wouldn't let anyone in the city touch my eyebrows but her. I always left satisfied. She's very good. Horrible customer service. I waited for 35 min until someone who arrived after me was serviced first. When I asked the MANAGER he yelled at me "oh we made a mistake, if you don't like you can leave." After I commented on him yelling at a customer he continued to yell and say "what more do you want from me?"
