This is the first time my husband and I have been back to The Forum since the pandemic started, and a lot has changed in six years. No longer are you greeted with a huge bakery case filled with delicious-looking cakes and pies, though you are kindly welcomed by a fantastic greeter who shows you to your table and seemed genuinely appreciative that we came in. Our waitress was capable and our meal portions were decent, but neither was really anything to write home about. Never got asked if we wanted refills on our sodas, and for $3.75 a drink, they should just give you a small pitcher, but that's just my opinion! My husband got the chicken fried steak breakfast and it was tasty and enough for a second meal later at home. I got the New Yorker Reuben, and it was okay, but nothing super spectacular. The corned beef was tender and the sauerkraut kind of bland. Also, the fries were more than a little underdone, which was kind of odd. I wish I'd gotten the chicken fried steak instead, in hindsight. The weirdest thing about my whole experience was the unnaturally fluorescent yellow color of the cheesy broccoli soup I had with my meal -- like someone dropped a highlighter in there! It tasted decent, but the color was pretty off-putting. Maybe a little too much turmeric or something, I don't know, but it was more than a little unappetizing. I really don't know what they put in there to get that shade of highlighter yellow. My husband got a piece of strawberry glazed cheesecake to take home (you can get a $2 dessert with your meal), and that too was disappointing. He said it tasted grainy, like it had been frozen, and clearly the desserts that we remembered from this establishment 6 years ago are just a fond memory now. What a shame. That was one of the main selling points for us coming in the first place. The interior ambiance is nice and the decor is decent, warm and pleasant. Plenty of places to sit for a midday lunch on a Tuesday. Prices were pretty comparable to Maxim's in Brookfield though the portion sizes at Maxim's are much larger for about the same price. I'm glad we gave it another go, but I don't know if we'll be back anytime soon. read more

Haven't been here in a while but it was nice to see their food and service are still very good. Harley was attentive to our needs and had a great attitude the whole time. The ambiance hasn't changed and that could use a little refreshing. read more

Management refused to take back our order of our undercooked fish fry, but still billed us half the cost. We did not eat the fish because we didn't want to get sick. Their sign outside says "We treat you like family". We've been going to Forum with our family for decades. My family will never return. read more

We had a family get-together at The Forum yesterday. My Aunt made a reservation for 9 people a few days in advance. They were happy to accommodate us. Our waitress was excellent and was so kind and patient even though she was taking care of our large group by herself! We ordered a variety of breakfast and lunch items. Everyone liked their food and many took leftovers home. A great place to relax and there is truly something for everyone. We love our neighborhood diner! read more

We've eaten here several times, mostly breakfast. The food is good, but waiting for coffee refills is not. We've been going more to IHOP where you get a pot of coffee at the table, and don't have to wait for some poor over-worked server to get back to you. read more

Went for breakfast this morning with a couple friends. I got a simple Omelette, with a side of bacon and my friends got a bacon and eggs platter each.. nothing extravagant. Just a simple breakfast out.. obviously added drinks a couple sodas and a coffee. So first of all before i get too far the food was good and the waitress was very nice and attentive which is what makes rating this difficult. My issue is 100% with the prices.... This quick stop off for breakfast cost us 72 bucks for breakfast!! $87 with the tip because the server deserved it... absolutely ridiculous price in my opinion 3.75 each for drinks coffee same price as soda. Many other great breakfast spots you can go for much lower prices. I wont go as far as saying ill never go back but its not top on my list unless i have alot of extra money to burn. read more

To be honest, I'm not usually a fan of these big, Greek type restaurants, where they are a Jack Of All Trades, yet a Master Of None. I've also eaten here before, and the food has always been ok, but nothing to rave about. My husband surprised me with a visit here, as he had been having a craving. I asked, "Really?!?!" Reluctantly, I went in. The menu was exactly what I expected: a hodge-podge of stereotypical "American" dishes and a couple of Greek things. Not finding anything magical, I skipped to the burger section and found my savior. The Mexican Burger: a burger with cheese, jalapenos, and avocado, with a side of fries and a cup of soup. My friends, it exceeded my expectations for a restaurant such as this. The jalapenos were pickled, and when combined with the tanginess of the cheese, the flavor was incredible. Now, I'm not a burger afficionado; in fact, I could take or leave a burger altogether. But this burger was delightful in all it's sloppy, tangy, drippy, greasy glory. No other condiments were needed, as it was flavorful enough as is. I would equate the fries here with McDonald's fries, but a little plumper and a little less salty. After finishing them, I noticed that I hadn't even used the ketchup, something that I don't normally do. They were cooked to perfection and delicious on their own. There were 3 really good sounding soup options, and I went with Broccoli and Cheese. Dang, that was some good soup! Creamy, cheesy, and yummy. The service was top notch. Our server, Melanie, was super friendly and seemingly unfazed by how many tables she had, and being an early Sunday afternoon, it was BUSY! Stopped in on a Sunday for brunch. With the amount of seating available in The Forum I would be shocked if there would ever be a wait regardless if the size of your party. Traditional diner meals as expected. Serving sizes are very large. read more

We usually come to the Forum for breakfast. The steak and eggs are excellent and I get the American fries over the hash browns because they're always delicious. They also have a dark rye toast that actually tastes like rye which I just can't find anywhere else. My wife loves the thin french toast, they also have a texas french toast which is a little too much bread for her. Before the pandemic one of the Sunday specials was swiss steak, it's the best I've ever had and my mom made some pretty awesome swiss steak. So, I'm hoping that as things start to get back to normal that returns as well. read more

My husband and I love trying new restaurants but this place was horrible . Everything is microwaved which is embarrassing for a Greek restaurant. My husband got the gyro sandwich which was obviously a frozen gyro kit shaking my head. I've been here numerous times, usually after church, and we keep going back for a reason. This place is always busy and you'll know why when you try their food; I've personally only had their breakfast. The service is good, coffee is good, and the food always comes out fast. The ambiance is again like most Greek restaurants, it has that diner feel. If you have a bigger group you shouldn't worry, I've seen many large groups and they seem to accommodate them no problem. I think we've been there a little too much because they seem to recognize us right when we walk in, which is very welcoming. read more

Don't eat here. I've eaten there several times and every single time I've gotten sick. I don't know if it's food preparation or cleanliness but I've eaten different things and ended up with the same result; in the bathroom and crouched in fetal position in bed. The Forum used to be a great restaurant. Now, ever since Covid, they have reduced their hours, eliminated their awesome dessert counter, and the only item worth eating is their chicken dumpling soup. Unfortunately, you can't have it dor dinner because they close at 3 p.m. read more

We recently had a group of 12 people eat here for lunch, and they were able to accommodate the group and also do 12 separate checks. I had a vegetarian panini which was pretty average, but I am not complaining. Others seemed happy with their food, and no two people ordered the same thing. The chicken curry looked tasty, and the appetizer plate with fried eggplant, zucchini, etc. was huge! I think this place does well with what it does. It has a great variety of choices, and service is quick. Dinners come with a free dessert that one can take to go! All in all, a pretty positive experience for all. read more

First "check in" but not the first time here. We've been coming for years. On Sunday's, we call this the "one egg, two egg place".... if you order 1 egg, you get two; if you order two eggs, you get three. My husband loves the gyro skillet and the multi grain bread. The skillet is filling... the kids can share one easily. I'm not a fan of the skillet because I don't like ham added in. They know how to cook an over easy egg and hash browns are plentiful and nicely browned. Service is very friendly- they are kind as can be. Coffee flows freely. Food delivery is quick. Rock solid breakfast here this AM with a few pals; my first tme here. I was surprised how big the dining area is and then even more surprised when our order came up just minutes after we ordered, with everything perfect. The location has a couple of hostesses making sure things run smoothly and plenty of staff to keep orders and requests moving along in a timely manner. Our server, Tina, was attentive and kind as could be. She kept her eye on us to make sure our coffee was filled and that we were happy. read more

I wanted to like this place as it's close to our home. From the first pour of the coffee to bathroom it was a wreck. There was something floating in my coffee for the life of me I could not get it to taste good. Then daughters pancakes were so thin that if u added the syrup it fell apart when cutting it. The sausage was cold an husbands eggs were not over easy as requested. Then went to the bathroom and got soap all over my purse. I mean can anything go right? We've been customers for years but since the patriarch of the family passed away and the sons took over, it has been slowly going downhill. The owner always used to be there, checking with customers, making sure they were enjoying their food. This morning was the culmination of our growing disappointment at how things have gone bad. Our order was two omelets, one was missing some of the ordered ingredients, and over cooked, which they tried to disguise by folding the dark browned part to the inside, potatoes were cold, decaf coffee was so weak it looked like tea. $40 for breakfast is a little steep for poorly prepared food. We should have known by the lack of customers, guess other people have gotten the message that they just don't care. Lots of turnover of servers and bussers. Guess they weren't happy either. read more

For a place that is open 24/7 it's ok. The only issue I have is with the person at the cashier booth. No eye contact, only stared at her calendar book. I'd still recommend you come here to eat, but I would also encourage the owner to enforce employees to be more polite to customers. read more

I am sitting here trying to eat lunch. I asked to not have potatoes and toast (I'm eating keto) but asked for broccoli instead. They won't substitute because "we can't keep making all these customizations for customers". Hmmm. Well, can I get a price reduction for less food? "No". Help me understand that logic. "I don't make the rules I just manage the restaurant. I'm paid to follow the rules." Can I get a price reduction in my lunch since I'm eating less food? "No, but I can reduce the up-charge of the broccoli" I'm actually really glad that half of the restaurant heard the lame excuses offered in this conversation. Service: 3 stars - The food comes out fairly quickly. I was with a group of seven most recently, when almost every table in the restaurant was full (and it's a huge restaurant). Took only ~10 or so minutes to get our food. Sometimes you'll get a super friendly waitress (Elly), otherwise just want to get you your order taken ASAP and wait for the tip. Size of menu: 5 stars - Breakfast all day. Every type of sandwich you could want. A wide variety of pasta, steaks, chickens, salads, etc also. Taste of Food: 1 star - Nothing I've ever had here makes me want to have it again. It's not bad, but just not too flavorful. At least it forces me to try something new? Pie/Cake/Cheesecake/Dessert Selection: 5 stars - HUGE selection of pies, cheesecakes, cakes, etc. And unlike the main course, the dessert tastes fantastic! (see pictures!) Hours: 5 stars - A great place if you're looking for a bite to eat at 2AM. It's quite busy during post-Summerfest hours. Between 9am and 4am, I'd estimate the average age of the crowd to be under 30. Between 7am-3pm, the average age shoots up to 70. This is a good place to bring large groups since there is so much space and they serve rather quickly. read more

I can't believe this place only has three stars!!! This place practically throws food at you for super cheap, and it's all very delicious. For $6.99 I got a huge burger with fries and a cup of soup, and they gave us a complimentary basket of rolls and muffins. My husband got a seafood platter which came with soup and dessert. Five of us went at 1130 today. Anne the server was great, nice and efficient. Food was great except the Gyro sandwich was below par. I will not return to this restaurant because of the floor manager. He was highly disrespectful to his wait staff. He publicly yelled and embarrassed them in front of the patrons. Managers are to uplift and motivate their team to do well. One server tipped a tray with water and he proceeded to scream at her, another because they didn't get to a table fast enough. If you can't handle the stress, find another job. My guess is your employee turnover rate is high. read more

"Oh boy." I went here about, oh, two weeks ago now for a graduation get together for my sister. As soon as I got inside the restaurant, I was greeted by the restaurant owner- whom was nice in nature. Then things got going and I sat down (the chairs had wheels) and waited for our waitress. We waited about ten minutes for her. Then fifteen for drinks. Overall lazy service. I would've given her a three dollar tip (party of six) but I didn't want to be a complete ass like her and the staff. Then there was the food! Oh my lord I wouldn't wish this food on my worst enemy. The breaded and fried things are absolutely fine (at best). But the meat, the steaks, holy crap they are terrible. I ordered the ribeye medium rare. When I got it, (after about a three to five minute wait, not sure why it was so fast..) It was mush. The plate was covered in fatty grease. I touched the steak with my fork and liquid poured out. I tried to cut it with my knife, but it was like soggy bread, it tore apart. It was bloody, barely cooked. Absolutely terrible. However, the fries were pretty good. But that's not enough to keep a restaurant open. Overall- eat here at your own risk. The food is inconsistent and the staff is terrible. On a good day you'll get an okay experience. But, on a bad one you'll get a terrible waste of money. read more

Been going here since i was a kid and ive honestly never had a truly bad experience. Kind of miss looking at all the desserts which i never got but still enjoyed walking around and seeing. Seems like people like to nit pick for the little things. I guess it's easier to complain nowadays..I'd like to say despite the negative reviews, The Forum is still a great place to eat and enjoy a decent meal. I am sure i've ran into a server having a bad day or they may have goofed up my order. It is what it is! I am happy to be a returning customer and so are countless others. First time, definitely not coming back. Came for soup, and didn't serve any past 10. Forced to order something off their WAY too expensive menu. Burgers were $11 each. The "American Burger" came with a 1/3lb patty, cheese, and onions on an Italian bread - almost like a piece of garlic bread. Basically, a normal burger on a rectanglular roll. Also, coffee is $3. That's insane. The food isn't bad. But I'll tell you that it hands-down is not worth it. read more
