Outstanding meal! When to the Mequon Public Market to get something to eat and found this place (relatively new). Loved our meals, and really loved the service. We had 3 different people come to our table to see how things were going which was really nice. The owner even stayed a while to talk about the business and his other restaurants in the area. Started with a Scotch Egg and I had the Cottage Pie, my wife had the Fish and Chips and we finished with the Sticky Pudding. Everything tasted great. Have to say, the ordering by phone was a little challenging, but we figured it out. Great addition to the Public Market. Definitely will be back. read more

We came on a Sunday afternoon around 3 and it wasn't terribly busy so we were able to sit down right away. Our server came and took our drink and food order right away. Everything was quick and efficient here. This is a great place to watch a game as the atmosphere wasn't too loud. I got the Chicken Tikka Masala and it was great. It was hot, had great flavor and a great portion size. Overall service was great it was in between shift change and both servers were a 10/10. Highly recommend for some solid pub food or a nice beer while watching the game. read more

This is a fantastic British-style pub, among the best I've had in the US, and I am shocked that I'm able to say that. This restaurant sits in the Mequon Public Market and legitimately has better fried fish (and chips) than St. Paul Fish Market just across the parking lot, as crazy as that sounds. The batter is light but crispy, and there's a generous cut of fish under the relatively "fluffy" exterior and the fries were fresh and awesome. They also have a respectable beer selection, plus some good cocktails on offer. We were acknowledged and never ignored by staff even though there's an option to order everything through a QR code on the table. The manager stopped by a few times to check on us before it got overly busy, which was also nice. I'm excited to come back here and enjoy the patio when it warms up. read more

Fenwick's is the latest addition to Mequon Public Market, and it already seems like a good fit! We popping into the market with a few friends to grab a drink and stumbled upon this new British eatery. My husband, and a friend we were with, are both from the UK so they have high expectations for places like these ;) I was delighted by their Pimms Cup, a drink I haven't had in quite some time. Not too sweet, and overall refreshing. The other grabbed some brews from the tap. The selection was nice with a handful of English-style ales. We were only in for drinks, so didn't get a chance to try any of the fare. You better believe we'll be back to do so though, and they've got all of our faves: English pies, fish n' chips, chicken, spice bag and more. Oh and the decor here is so fun- definitely plays to the theme! Think: union jacks, English phone boxes, etc. Check em' out! read more

Loved everything about this place. The beautiful vintage bar, the feel of it all, the fact they offer food, the atmosphere and service. The beer selection was outstanding along with all the different black n tans they had available. Highly recommend for a chill time. read more

Fenwick's has the same owner as Steerage in Port Washington. Both are excellent spots for pub fare and good drinks. As far as the food at Fenwick's, I absolutely love the Irish Spice Bag, which is 5-spice seasoned fried chicken bites, fries, and chilis served in a paper bag. It comes with a side of British curry sauce, which is absolutely delicious, and good enough to eat with a spoon. My wife loves the Welch Rarebit with salad and soup. The carrot ginger soup is worth the trip. For the kids, I was impressed by the chicken tenders, which certainly weren't dumbed down for kids. They were outstanding, and I happily helped my 5YO finish. I've also had the fish and chips and the burger (separate visits, of course). Enjoyed both of those very much. This end of Mequon Public Market has been a bit of a revolving door, but I think Fenwick's is finally a great concept to occupy the space, hopefully for a long time. read more

We had a slightly underwhelming dinner experience at Fenwick's Pub and Patio on Friday night. I will say the food was at least decent. I had the bangers and mash which had good flavor. But the mushy peas it came with were very chalky and undercooked. My husband ordered a beer and didn't receive it until we were almost done eating. Mostly, I hated having to order and pay all from my phone (and I'm a millennial). I know people who still use flip phones and would absolutely not be able to cope with this. Just limits their customer base. Overall, the vibe was giving airport bar - like everyone just wanted to be in and out quickly. We won't be coming back. Still on the hunt for good English or Irish pubs in the Milwaukee area. read more

This place is fantastic. Really great food and superb service. All housed in a beautiful English pub.

Food, service, atmosphere, and concept are perfect. Also, the fact that they are open later than anyone else in the area, makes them the best place in Mequon. Also, they show premier league matches on Saturdays and Sundays with a full English Breakfast. read more

So I was there for a Wednesday afternoon. The happy hour specials are a good value and they are really good. I suggest trying them. I think they're happy hours are Monday through Wednesday maybe anyway for what it is it's really good. I haven't had a chance to try more of their food but their burger in this chicken thing they did which it says it's just a big chicken tender, but it looks like it's more of an ostrich tender was really really good. I like the way they did the beer batter on it as well. Only reason I'm not giving it to five is because they're gonna have to earn that overtime but absolutely strong place good selection of Irish in English beers. read more
