No star would be better. I've been waiting on a tow truck for almost 6 hours. I received a text that said it would take 120-150 mins and I've been waiting double the time. When I called back to inquire the rude dispatch lady informed me that she and the driver had tried to reach me on 2 different numbers that they have for me. I only have one number and my phone didn't ring. she advised me to call roadside assistance and set up another tow because they gave them the wrong number. Keep in mind she's already lied and stated she called my number and couldn't reach me at the correct number. She stated the driver called me at 2 different numbers as well. After ordering another tow, the lady then calls me back with a different lie and says she just got the correct number yet roadside assistance had the correct number on my tow request the entire time. The place where my car is being towed closes in ten minutes. Please don't use these clowns. read more

I spoke to David about my Towing needs, and he was very helpful. he offered to check out the situation and let me know what it would cost to do the towing. He didn't even say he would charge me for doing that. And, he volunteered to put me in touch with another business that could help me with a separate problem. great guy. read more

The worst and rudest front office staff I have EVER encountered in my life. We didn't choose for our bike to be towed here. (My husband was on the way to Grady trauma) it took our lawyer calling before we could even see the bike or get our personal belongings out of the bike. Mind you the accident was not our fault. Maybe a little kindness from The office staff would have gone a lot further. Beg them to take your vehicle somewhere else. read more

My car overheated and shutdown, stranding me on the side of the road. I was able to get ride home and called Chanceys to pickup car and take to dealership. Great customer service, clear expectation of pickup time. Fair price read more

If I could give them less than 1 star.. I would! Chancey's towed my vehicle and decided to leave it in the middle of the road because they said my driveway was too steep for their truck. Didn't bother helping me get it out of the road. I called the office in hopes they will at least send another truck or help so that it's not in the way and the lady was extremely rude and unprofessional. Needless to say I had to get another towing company who is equipped with vehicles that can handle "towing" to come move it out of the way. K2 towing was awesome. They had the truck needed for towing and did it quickly. read more

Fair Warning- I wish 0 stars were possible. My Chrysler 200s, most terrible car you could purchase, left myself, husband, & our 2 small children stranded. Roadside assistance dispatched this horrible company- Chanceys Wrecker Service. After waiting patiently for 1 1/2 hours, which was fine because that was the wait time we were told, the driver called to say he was 10 mins out. 5 mins after that dispatched called saying they would need to dispatch a different company because the driver said we cursed him out. Why would anyone curse someone who was coming to help them? Why lie, why not just admit you heard an African American sounding voice and your unrelenting prejudice wouldn't allow you to come... or you got sick all of a sudden? Why lie on us tho? We had to wait additional time for a reputable company to come. read more

Called USAA for a flatbed wrecker to tow my SUV to the dealer because I had a broken drive shaft. The dispatcher told me that there was no place to park the car at the dealer and they didn't have a night drop box. ALL LIES!!! They tried to get me to let them tow my car to their lot and charge me a 25 dollar overnight storage fee and they would drop if off the next day. I said hell no!!! I've been to that dealership before for routine car repairs and I knew better. I told them to tow it there anyway and when we got there the driver took it directly to a spot right across from the service door like he'd been there 100 times before. He even told me that the drop box is on the front side of the service building. These people are a bunch of scam artists and scavengers. Don't use them unless you absolutely HAVE to. And If you do use them, be very careful and be on your toes. There are SHADY!!! read more

If I could give them less stars than this I would. I was in an accident on the night of January 1st and they were called by the county. I wanted to have my car towed to my home but was informed by the driver that I would have to pay up front for the cost of the tow, but if I just have it towed to their yard, then my insurance would cover it. What they did NOT tell me was that while my car was parked there they would be charging me $20 a day and that if I decided that I needed to get it from them before my insurance company could pay for it then I would have to pay for it ALL myself. Not only the original towing cost, but also the storage fees that I was NOT told about until nearly a week and a half later. So now instead of paying the $100 I could have paid to tow it to my home that night, I am stuck paying close to $500. Thanks a lot Chancey. I will make sure to roast your services whenever I get the opportunity so that this doesn't happen to someone else who is struggling financially and the last thing they need is a company to neatly pull the wool over their eyes in order to extort more money from them. read more

I haven't used their service but due to an incident I had with one of the drivers I don't care to ever contact them. If you enjoy being disrespected then I 100% recommend them, otherwise look somewhere else. read more

We have dealt with this wrecker service for many years. They have always stated the amount due, and it doesn't change until the next day. They look up the cars by the V.I.N. quickly. The cars are ready if you call in advance. A professional business company. read more

This place totally sucks. I called in for a tow at 8:59am. I was told by a middle age woman that it would be 1 to1 1/2 hours. I said ok and we hung up. 3 1/2 hours later no call back or tow truck. I called them back and never got an apology for not coming nor did she care when I brought it to her attention. I even told her that I understand that things happen and drivers get extremely busy. She never still apologize for no one showing up or calling. She only cared about given me the information of the driver would be another 30 minutes. This is unacceptable.... Long story short - this was the rudest customer service I've interacted with in a long time with several shady practices. Even worse than Charter or AT&T(didn't know that was possible). Anyway my car gets towed because it was 'blocking a dumpster.' It was not near a dumpster and when I went get my car it was gone and another was in it's place. I guess they didn't feel the need to tow them. There was no sign or anything around to indicate parking was illegal in the spot and it had white lines like all of the other spots. I walk around the parking lot to the other side of the store to find a sign for a towing company. Again, there was no sign where I was parked. The sign said to call Chancey's and that it would cost $125. I called to confirm they had my car and I was on my way. When I arrived, they told me the fee just went up to $150. Great. Nothing like being lied to and defenseless. I handed them my card to pay and then they decide to tell me they only take cash. I thought this was only legal when the consumer has the right to choose another vendor. I guess it makes it easier to avoid taxes and for the store who called in the tow to get their cut. Now I had to get a ride to an ATM because I don't carry $150 cash with me at all times. Finally after they have taken full advantage of me, I drive away and pass a tow truck driver on the way out and he flips me the bird. Really great place with really great people. I don't understand how they are allowed to stay in business. read more

Worst experience ever! My car was towed after an auto accident by their driver Steven. I found out from my insurance company several days later that the aftermarket head unit i just installed was gone. So i went to chanceys to ask them if they knew anything about that. They got in my face raised their voices at me placed the blame on everyone else even though i was simple asking. they told me it s just $200 id just forget about it. They never even investigated it. I will never use them again. If you don t want your stuff stolen use a different company. read more

I called on Chancey's to tow my car to a local auto shop because it would not crank during my lunch break. By the time Chancey's got here, the car finally crunk up. I was willing to pay a minimum amount for the time and gas to drive two streets over. However when he gave me a ticket for $35.00, I was sick. I am glad my car is ok but upset I was charged $35 for the guy to shake my hand and write out a ticket. I called the manager to speak with a manager in reducing the price and he said I should have been charged $55. That was the same price for towing the truck to the local auto shop :-(. No customer service and eager to charge you for nothing. That explains why the company I work for did not recommend them. Think twice before choosing them. read more
