I towed the car to his shop which was just a few blocks away, he put my car on the lift in his shop and went to work right away. I was nervous as hell, I didn't know what to expect, I was worried and asked myself, are these guys legit! is their work any good? Are they expensive? I didn't want to get jerked around. Top Notch Auto is the BEST Mechanic in the Area!…read more I recently had an emergency situation with my car battery dying on Thanksgiving Day, and I couldn't be more grateful to have found Top Notch Auto. After doing some research, I learned that they were the only shop open, and I was lucky to have come across them, even if by accident. The customer service was outstanding from the start. The staff was extremely friendly and understanding, and they didn't try to upsell me on unnecessary services like I've experienced at other places. After getting the battery replaced, they also diagnosed a bad alternator, and the repair was done quickly and affordably. They even fixed a loose gasket on my muffler and replaced my oil pan, which made a huge difference in how my car runs. I've been to Pep Boys in the past, but their prices are sky-high, and I never felt like the service was up to par. Top Notch Auto, on the other hand, was not only way more reasonable in pricing but the quality of work was impeccable. My car now drives like it's brand new--even with 110k miles on it. Mohammed and the team at Top Notch Auto are hands down the best mechanics I've found since moving from Manhattan to Park Slope. I'll be coming back for all my future car needs without a doubt. I had an appointment to bring my car in, when I arrived he said he is two busy, bring it back in a couple days. NOT HAPPENING.... Now I lost my parking spot and rearranged other appointments for nothing. Forums another mechanic same day after this happened and he said give him 45 minutes and he will take care of it. Now that's great customer service.
