Another visit. During lock down I called ahead and they let me know exactly what time to come so I could be in and out the fastest to avoid sitting in the waiting area or standing outside. I showed up exactly when they recommended and they performed the work in just under 20 mins - super friendly too as always. Best prices with the best work - I'm never going anywhere else. Another place told us we'd need to leave the car for a half a day for an inspection, but Nam was able to get us in and out in about 15-20 mins. He was thorough, took time to answer questions and filled one of the tires with air and wiped everything down with sanitizer when he finished. This is the best auto service experience I've ever had. On my way out this morning, the exhaust was dragging on the ground. I called Wally and his family, and they said to come by so they could take a look. They had it up in the air in minutes, and had a replacement part in by lunchtime. They replaced the part (and an unrelated lightbulb) to get me back on the road within hours of when I noticed the problem, and did it all for the lowest price I could imagine. Wally and his family were so friendly and kind all day, and stayed in touch all day long. They put my mind at ease from the very first phone call to the last sanitizing wipe of the car. Thank you. I think I just found my designated auto repair shop! Decided to do my oil change and found this place near by on Yelp. They were so tentative and detailed. I mentioned the little noise I hear when I drive and they went above and beyond trying to find the root cause! I'm so impressed! I usually get a bit intimidated going to the mechanics because a lot of places would try to scam you into fixing unnecessary stuff. Nam, the owner and lead mechanic, is smart and easy to interact with. He and his family are incredibly thorough in everything they do and look for creative solutions to problems as opposed to recommending the easiest path for them and most expensive path for you. I use Nam for all of my car inspections and repairs. Most recently he discovered a problem in my transmission when he was servicing my car for something else. He showed me what was wrong, explained the potential causes, and then found a solution for fixing it that saved me hundreds of dollars (the easiest approach was to order and replace the parts). They have 5 stars for a reason... Actual honest mechanics. Brought my car in after the exhaust pipe snapped in half. It looked like it could be welded so I asked them to weld the pipe instead of replacing. Most mechanics would just opt to replace, easier work for them and they can make extra money on the part. Nam's assessed and agreed they can weld the pipe and at a reasonable price. Couldn't be happier with them, and this is the second visit to this shop. read more

I found Nam's from yelp when my car was randomly cutting off. Normally my experiences with mechanics are traumatic to say the least but Wally (sp?) was absolutely amazing and transparent. I felt like my car was in good hands and I wouldn't be overcharged. Excellent service! I came in on a Saturday for an oil change and an inspection, and there were very few cars ahead of me. The mechanics were courteous/helpful and even navigated me to nearby coffee shops where I could wait. I thankfully didn't have to wait too long. I've had my car inspected here for the past 3 years, and had a good experience. I was looking to buy a friends car, so I called to make an appointment to get a general check up and make sure there wasn't any glaring problems with the car. The manager was very rude, and was yelling on the phone, said "we don't check car, you tell me what is wrong and we fix it". He refused to look at the car. This place is top notch. I took my vehicle in due to low pressure in one of my tires. Luu spent over an hour diagnosing the problem and discovered the tire valve was faulty.
