My family and I had such a great experience with Channel Islands parasail. The staff on the boat were so helpful and friendly. They clearly knew what they were doing which put any nerves we had at ease. We did the 1000 ft parasail and the view was amazing! There were tons of dolphins swimming right by our boat. I was able to take my phone up there with me and get some pictures and videos. You are also able to take your own GoPro up if you bring it. Otherwise they have ones you can rent. read more

Although there was miscommunication on the location(which was closed) me and my husband find this out after calling the company once we arrived for this activity. The company took full responsibility and offered a complete refund and rescheduled us in santa barbara where we would do the parasailing free of charge including the add-ons we previously booked. Unfortunately we weren't able to make it to the other location due to It being soo far away from us. I appreciate the ownership the company took in their errors. The lady at the kiosk was super nice as I wasn't sure if I wanted to parasail so, she said I can go on the boat (of course a few to ride) but if I decide to go, juts come back and let her know. Once we were on the boat, it was a cloudy day but we all wanted to go up anyways. Kids went first and had so much fun! And yes! I went too! The ride went surprisingly smooth and we all loved the experience of flying through the air above the crystal blue ocean, with views both of the coastline and the Channel Islands. My wife booked us a trip to go Parasailing for my birthday through Channel Islands Parasail. We have kids, so she arranged for a baby sitter to watch them during our trip and also took the day off of work so we could do it together. We were really excited about parasailing and had been looking forward to it for weeks. As we were driving to them we got a call saying that they were going to be doing maintenance on the boat and we couldn't go anymore. The call was 20 minutes before we were supposed to be there for the experience and we were already most of the way there. The drive to get there is over an hour for us. It was such an incredible disappointment. If the tables were turned and we called them to cancel 20 minutes before going I doubt we would have gotten a refund or anything of the sort. If they called and said something was broken or they found something last minute that made it so they couldn't take us, we could have understood that. If they contacted us the day before to say that they had scheduled maintenance on their boats and could no longer take us the day we had scheduled that would have been fine too. Any kind of notice so that we could have rescheduled would have been great, but from the way they communicated it to us on the phone sounded like it was just scheduled maintenance. All this to say that it feels like someone dropped the ball on what would have hopefully been an incredible birthday experience and instead turned into a costly dud because of a lack of communication. My review has nothing to do with their experiences they offer as it sounds like they are top notch. Unfortunately I may not get to experience it now and they made my birthday unforgettable for the wrong reasons. read more

I went here yesterday for my birthday with my friend and it was amazing!! First of all booking on their website was a breeze. Parking there was free also another bonus. But the reason they are getting the 5 star review is for the experience and the crew! The boat ride was smooth and fun! Then the parasailing! One of the best experiences I've had! a little nerve racking when first getting up in the air (for no other reason than me being a scaredy cat) but once you're up there it is smooth sailing and breathtaking! We were in the air for about 10 minutes (we did the 1,000 ft) and after enjoyed the rest of the boat ride while our fellow adventurers went up! The crew was so nice and personable and really helped me feel comfortable! I have already recommended this to so many friends and family and will continue to do so! Best birthday experience. Drove from Long Beach to channel island. I was running a couple minutes late I did call ahead of time to have my time slot moved but they said they would wait for me, which was amazing. The boat fits 6 people however it was just us two. So it felt very special. The guys set us up and up we went they were very friendly. I felt we went higher than the 600ft I requested but we loved it. We even got to see sea lions. This is a really good option for an "experience" gift. Parking is easy and the building is a little kiosk by the water. They are quicker than the normal traffic through the harbor though (5 mph? I don't think so). So I'm docking them for that, but the overall experience was good. read more

Booked online for three people and received a written confirmation. Unfortunately, when we arrived we were told we had been bumped and were asked if we could return on another day. Their scheduling system by way of computer then the kiosk on site is an unorganized mess. Thus our time was changed for the next day however when we arrived again, we were told although we had confirmed reservations they moved our time to yet another day without asking us..it was such a chaotic mess. I had planned to make it a special occasion for my visiting nephew; unfortunately after three days of constant changes even after Captain Dave confirmed everything, our experience with them was very unpleasant. After paying $270.00 for three people and going nowhere, our parasailing adventure was a Big BUST! My nephew was very disappointed. I will never recommend them and won't ever return with my family or friends. I'm a local resident so will also share my negative experience. To have to fight for my refund was also B.S! read more
