I love adventure, and parasailing was such a fun experience. This was my first time parasailing, and Long Beach was a great spot for it. The boat ride itself was exciting, and once you're up in the air, the views are amazing. You don't get dropped into the water, so you stay dry, which was a plus for me. Overall, it was truly worth it and something I'd definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun adventure.

Booked a parasailing experience for a birthday celebration and received confirmation with detailed instructions--only to show up and find the place completely closed. No cancellation email, no call, no warning whatsoever. This was not just an inconvenience--it was a complete waste of time and a huge disappointment on what was supposed to be a special day. Basic communication is the bare minimum for any business, and this company failed entirely in that regard. If you're going to confirm bookings, at least have the decency to notify your customers if you're not going to be open. Completely unprofessional and unreliable. Would not recommend.

This was so much fun. I did this back in 2018 with friends and now I took my family. It's $95 per person and $40 if you just want to ride on the boat and watch everybody. I'm glad they have this option but it is not always guaranteed. They had a little delay so our start time got pushed back, but the captains were very nice and explained everything well. They have waivers to sign and the entire ship is about one hour. You go with about 4 to 5 other groups so it's fun to encourage others and see people go. The parking is pretty simple as well, but they don't do validation. The earlier you get here the more you will avoid the rush and everyone else being there, especially on the weekend. But it is very fun and I highly recommend! It's very safe and sturdy.

Did this for our anniversary and it was so much fun. The staff was really friendly and the music they had playing was really setting up the mood, it was chill and fun. There were 2 or 3 other groupd that rode the boat with us and they were fun too. It was a sunny day so it was perfect. You can also tip when you are done and heading out the boat. Id definitely do this again!

We had such a great time! We found this place on Groupon and just easily booked it on the website. The boat ride & parasailing was perfect. The staff has great personality & makes the experience enjoyable.

It was such a great experience at Long Beach parasails and it's a Mother's Day and my sister birthday at the same time so I took her there for the first time and it's amazing. Both of the man explained everything so clear and helpful. I would love to do it again.next time I will take my phone with me up there but you gotta need your waterproof phone case.

What a fun adventure for us 2 'old' ladies!! Captain Nick and First Mate David made us feel safe so we were able to relax and enjoy the experience. It's so amazing - an unforgettable experience!!!

It was me and my friends first time parasailing at Long Beach location.. I gotta say they made our experience 5 star and more.. it was just amazing.. Justin and Manny were funny, great and made sure our experience was fun..& comfortable. The song choices on the boat were perfect too. With great friends, beautiful weather, and amazing experience. I would definitely recommend them 100% Everything went smooth. Definitely coming back with my family next time.

SCAM - and the rudest customer service!…read more I rarely leave negative reviews. In fact, most of my reviews are overwhelmingly positive because I try to give businesses the benefit of the doubt. It takes a lot for me to become genuinely frustrated, but after three separate cancellations over two seasons, I feel compelled to share my experience. My mother purchased a Groupon for my son and me to go tandem parasailing with California Parasail in Santa Barbara. My son was 8 years old and incredibly excited. Attempt #1 (2025): We booked months in advance. About an hour before our scheduled trip, it was canceled due to "wind." From where we were, the weather appeared perfectly calm. I'm not a boater, so I accepted their explanation, even though it was disappointing. Attempt #2 (2025): We rescheduled for about a month later. Once again, roughly an hour before our reservation, the trip was canceled--this time because of "mechanical issues." I had picked my son up early and spent the day building excitement for the adventure. Telling him it was canceled again resulted in nothing but tears. When I tried to reschedule, I was told they were closing for the season. Attempt #3 (July 2026): I booked another trip three days in advance. Before booking, I checked the weather forecast (no significant wind expected) and even looked at availability, assuming any mechanical issues would have been addressed before a busy weekend. Yet again, about an hour before departure, I received another cancellation due to "mechanical issues." Once again, I had to tell my son the trip wasn't happening. Once again, there were tears. I understand that weather happens. Mechanical issues happen. Safety should always come first. But three last-minute cancellations over multiple bookings--with no meaningful effort to make things right--goes far beyond bad luck. At this point, it's difficult not to question whether these trips are consistently operating as advertised. What disappointed me most was the customer service afterward. I spoke with Amileah to explain how upsetting this had been, especially after three cancellations and repeatedly disappointing my young son. Rather than acknowledging the pattern or showing empathy, I was told that if I really wanted to parasail, I should drive to Long Beach--nearly three hours away. When I expressed my frustration, she told me that because I was "on the defensive," there was nothing she could do for me, encouraged me to "write all the reviews you want," and ended the call with an overly cheerful "have a great vacation." That response was more disappointing than the cancellations themselves. Santa Barbara is my hometown, and I hate writing a review like this about a local business. I genuinely wanted this experience to work. But after three failed attempts, countless disappointed conversations with my son, and customer service that left me feeling dismissed instead of valued, I simply can't recommend California Parasail based on my experience. I sincerely hope others have a better experience than we did.

And they're phasing out their most powerful boat, the 75hp, because of too much abuse and the associated high insurance costs. But they still offer the 40hp boat and that has plenty of power, with a top speed of about 20 knots. It comfortably seats 4 people in designated seats, but can fit an extra two people sitting up front sideways on bench seating. I had a great time. I saw seals sunbathing on the buoys, and I even saw dolphins near the first oil rig island by the Queen Mary ship. Of course you can also get a nice close-up view of the Queen Mary itself. You're allowed to go almost to the Seal Beach Municipal Pier, but not quite. 1hr duration is enough if you want to do a quick single lap of the designated ocean area. 2hrs is highly recommend if you want to take your time and not be rushed. Be sure to bring a light jacket, hat, and sunglasses to protect yourself from the wind and sun. The designated driver is not allowed to drink. I'm not sure if the rest of the guests are allowed to drink. Park near the Yard House restaurant and then walk to the back of the restaurant and you'll see the little hut with the staff in it. If nobody is there then look over the edge to the docked boats because the staff might be down there instead.

Easy check in and quick muster drill and smiling faces everywhere. This cruise line is budget friendly to me, as I run a household alone, and have two dogs and two cats to provide for. It allows me to plan for a trip and pay 6 months same as cash. Oh my goodness...I had such a good time. Long Beach , sea day, Cabo, sea day, Ensenada and back. 5 days. There is so much to do on the ship, and then if you choose you can just read a book by yourself....and just listen to the ocean. I do not get sea sick, so I LOVED the rougher seas. It really felt like the sea was rocking me to sleep every night. I had no idea the relaxation that being on the ocean provides......in a way I am not used to. I am used to the scuba diving perspective....so this view, was a new one for me. I did not know if I would care for this ....but I LOOOOVED IT! I can not wait to plan my next cruise. My stateroom attendant MUZEMMIL was AMAZING! Memorized my name, always there if I needed anything. The staff work their butts off, and I always made sure I recognized that. SO much fun. There were many choices for food that was all included. A deli where they made things to order, Guys Burgers, Shaq's chicken, and the buffet was not too bad. All food was good, and did I mention...included.

We decided to take the Carnival Panorama Mexican Riviera cruise from Long Beach to Cabo San Lucas…read moreto celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our family and friends, totaling a group of fourteen people. We actually ended up paying for four of the cabins and two specialty restaurant dinners to celebrate a birthday and our 50th wedding anniversary in addition to paying for their Renewal of Vows ceremony! Having cruised for over twenty years, averaging two cruises per year, I think we are a good judge of cruise quality and what a cruise offers. To start with, overall the quality of the food is mediocre at best! Their dining room, while expecting different and better quality than their buffet, offered the same food. However, cold soup and one inch long shrimp plus meat that a steak knife had trouble cutting through best describes what we were served. Their Italian restaurant surprised the Italians in our group saying it was the worse Italian food they ever had! Their Teppanyaki restaurant was also a surprise to me. When we arrived as it was our anniversary dinner. We arrived a little early to make sure everything was set up right, after so many disappointing experiences onboard. The restaurant refused to seat us to wait for our group, and when they finally did and gave us some green tea, it was Bigalow! Not even Japanese, and only one tea bag for a pot that should have had two!! As for the renewal of vows, which as they knew was supposed to be a surprise after countless emails! Instead of calling me as promised, they sent a note addressed to my wife and I to my son and daughter in law, and not knowing any better she gave it to my wife! Thus destroying the money I spent and countless hours planning and communicating with everyone! Finally comes the nickel and dimeing for everything! This business model of theirs, which is profit over customer satisfaction and service, carried over to the photographer who was unwilling to bend on anything. It didn't matter how much money I've spent or how many cabins I've paid for or my 50th anniversary, nothing! The picture packages were too large and extremely expensive, so we went with what they called the Al a cart where you select only those that you want at the rip off price of $30.00 each. When I asked about digital copies, which were also $30.00 each, he wouldn't sell them to me because I didn't purchase a package. Having had the pleasure of cruising on other cruise lines that put customer service and satisfaction above squeezing an extra few dollars out of them, my only option was to complain to guest services. In addition to the long lines, that was a complete waste of time! They also couldn't couldn't care about anything, so I wrote to the people who worked with me on the renewal of vows. Maybe by mistake, they cc'd other people on the email chain, but it must be Carnival corporate culture to not give a damn! They refunded me 50% of the renewal amount but refused to address anything else. I presume that the people who were on the email chain could have addressed the many disappointing issues, not just mine but from all fourteen of us, but they chose to remain silent! I've now sent four follow-up emails to all people involved which I presume are at their corporate offices and finally received their response, which was that they were not going to change their decision or respond to any further emails of mine. Thank you Carnival Cruise Lines for putting a dollars above customers, and this should be a warning to anyone considering a cruise with them!
