Pax seemed nice, and I gave him the money, but as soon as he went home I was left to deal with staff members who were not less than savage, as they kept my money. His items went missing there. And there was no remorse or hope of them trying to find the items. His room was disgusting and I had to disinfect it myself. The man in the bed next to him has one arm and pees all over the floor in the bathroom. He also leaves food out so there is a ton of gnats and fruit flies in the room. I had a nurse give my dad pain medication when I told her not to. I said I'm his POA and I'm saying no. She did it anyway. Don't sent anyone you love to this facility. The management has too many bed and not enough staff to properly care for these people. It's like a horror movie every time I'd go there to see my dad. I'm grateful of his most recent hospital stay so my family was able to get him out of there. I'm going to pick up his items today that are still there. I'm interested to see what's missing.

You know when you just really need a break? You just need somebody to help you with something because if somebody doesn't help you, you don't know if you're capable of doing it? The house manager Jules, is an angel. She truly fights for each clients rights and wants the best for them. The clinicians Kate and Isabelle are AMAZING! Kate was my therapist and she is so intelligent and empathetic that fueled my healing process. The whole house staff was amazing as well.. no words to describe the superior level of care I received. Along with the connections, education and support I received I have never felt so much kindness in my life by everyone during my month stay.
