My past two dental insurances only cover this service for children 16 and under and is not covered for adults. The hygienist said it was covered and I ended up having to pay OOP. Two hygienists have verbalized it in this way. It's likely a 2 minute procedure that lets them make $40-50 hence why they do this. It's not a good business practice to not clearly and fully inform the patient. Parking is good, dentist is good. Equipment seems very updated and has the TV screen that you can watch from the chair. They seem to be taking COVID very seriously with precautions. Automated text appointment reminders are a plus. Their website for filling out forms and consistency/clarity of instructions is lacking. Also their tablets for filling out the information is not the most responsive.

It was a very trying time, calling upward 25 different practices looking for emergency dentistry to help during the stay at home order. Nik was opened with limited hours for emergency services. The receptionist was so professional, polite and friendly! My BF said that he felt safe and took comfort in the fact that the doctor was thorough in trying to save the tooth root if he could - the crack was too bad though, and they had to extract it and graph the area. The doctor was very clear when telling us what the plan was to getting a implant and the timelines needed. The receptionist was very knowledgeable about the insurance coverage and gave us multiple options, providing insight as to how we could maximize our deductions and provided us with additional paperwork we could use when filing workers comp and short term disability with his work. Overall, we are very impressed with this practice. Thank you very much for staying open during this crisis. We honestly don't know what we would have done without you!
