We also enroled in their after-sale service contracts. In 2026, during the heat wave, at a temp of 114F, one unit malfunctioned. A service tech dtermined that the problem was the unit's fan motor. The part was under warranty, but not the labor. The cost to replace it was $13,000 which I paid in advance. He went away and cam back 2 hrs later with the temp sensor replacement. I theen was charged $600 for the labvor associated with the temp sensor replacement although the part was installed b the same tech at the same time as the fan motor. So my fila cost was almost $2,000! I have sincve cancelled my sevice contracts with JD Now.
