While many reviews state positive experiences, I would like to point out the negative experience I had with Aaron, the owner of B & T HVAC Service. We had been a long-standing customer since 2020. They repaired our HVAC several times over the past years. Recently, our air conditioning stopped working and we contacted them. The technician informed us we needed a new unit. We would have happily had B&T install the unit, except for the attitude of the owner when questioned about the invoice for the service call. They charged us for the following: Service Call $99.44 + Labor Rates $89.44 + Gas/Trip/Admin $17.41 - All to tell us we cannot repair the air conditioner and would need a new unit starting at $14,016.05. The owner argued with me for 30+ minutes on the phone and refused to refund the service call even if I purchased a new unit from them. In the meantime, I contacted Boer Brothers who sent a technician to check our air conditioning unit. We were told we needed to replace our existing unit and were not charged for the service call whether or not they replaced the unit. This review is strictly directed toward the owner of B & T HVAC and his extremely poor treatment of a long standing customer. I suppose if you do not question any of their nickel and dime charges, you may have a better experience than we had. read more

I've been using B&T for about four years now since they installed an entire HVAC system in my townhome, along with putting in a second zone upstairs. I have nothing but good things to say about Aaron and his team. They are honest, on time, professional, and tidy. I have never felt like they are trying to upsell me, even as a single female. I think it's a good sign when employees stick around, and several of them have been there for years (Johnathan is great!). read more

New American Standard 1.5T 14 Seer heat pump and air handler. B&T HVAC Team did a great job, replacing both elements (outside and in attic upstairs air handler) new digital/wireless thermostat & CO2 detector. While here, adjusted the dampers to even out heat flow through the entire house. Aaron & Team (Steven, Danny & Hector) did a great job removing the old stuff and installing the new units. This company is excellent. I would give 10 stars if I could. When they say they'll be there at a certain time, trust that they will. They even responded to emails that I sent on weekends and after hours within 24 hours or less. They are very professional, they go over and explain everything and they made no mess in my house at all. They don't try to sell you a system that is more than your home needs. All of the workers are very polite. You can't do better than B&T HVAC. read more

This company installed a new HVAC system in our home today. It was a pleasure dealing with everyone in this company from the estimate to the installation. They were professional, careful, knowledgeable, and clearly took pride in their work. I was especially grateful for their patience in showing us how to use/program the new thermostat. They wore masks, placed drop clothes, and made sure everything was put back in place. They were prompt and very responsive. I recommend them highly. read more

I called to have my furnaces repaired on the coldest day of the year. They scheduled me for a couple of hours out and came when they said they would. I thought they would have to replace both furnaces but the technician diagnosed the problems immediately and got the heat on again. Unbelievably great service! read more

$2,600 to install a pre-purchased $950 mini split air conditioner. Manager was condescending and unfriendly.

We had our AC and gas furnace units (separate up and downstairs units) replaced by Aaron and his team at B&T this summer. We had a total of 4 quotes, all from contractors using Trane/American Standard. B&T offered more efficient equipment for the same price (or less) than the other guys. But what I was most impressed by was that Aaron, the owner, provided the on site estimate and oversaw the installation. The entire crew was efficient and professional, and our system is working great. The communication after the installation has also been excellent including arranging for the city inspection and submission of Duke Energy rebates.
