Overall, a bad experience. My first cleaning was done poorly. Felt like a nail tech was prepping my teeth rather than cleaning my gumline. Didn't record my pocket health even after I inquired. The hygienist continued against my protest and inquiries. They told me "Everything was good" after my x-rays. I told them it was not. I was gaslit for weeks about tooth pain and migraines. They told me to see my PCP who referred me *back* to my dental provider. I returned because my face was swelling, and I knew whatever was wrong wasn't right. They told me to floss and use an electric toothbrush. No x-rays. No emergency exam. No option to yank my tooth. Nothing. Just go home and floss. Ok. I called *again* because things worsened. The receptionist told me to see a TMJ specialist that my insurance would cover. They declined to refer me to this specialist and continued to repeat "call your provider to see who is in network". No sense of urgency. No option. No way to see the dentist so that he could refer me. They told me to wait four months until he *would* see me again. And then they said they were booked out five months. So, which was it? They claimed that I couldn't pay out of pocket, but the truth is that Chapel Street (and other facilities) discriminates towards those of us with Husky Insurance. No way that any ethical practitioner would see my x-rays and send me on my way without a treatment plan. I'm not a trained professional and I knew something wasn't right. I wouldn't recommend that anyone go to them. If you're in pain, go to a reputable place and ask for a payment plan. You'll regret letting them near your mouth. read more

Where to start.. I had over an hour wait for a routine cleaning where I was literally the only one there in the lobby other than the receptionist. I think they can only see 2 patients at a time so I'm not sure why they would book 3 people right around the same time. I'm glad I gave my boss a large buffer of time I would be gone. The actual cleaning was done by the dentist which I thought was really odd. The hygienist just took some X-rays and then left without explaining what was about to happen. Anyways the dentists didn't really utilize the vacuum well and there was a ton of water in my mouth such that it spilled out twice. But it was just uncomfortable. Also just a suggestion: most clinics will give you an eye guard to protect against inevitable splashing. Bottom line: I decided to try this place out because it was close to my apartment (although I knew it was kind of in a sketchy block of town) and was on the list of providers on my insurance. After my experience I am not coming again. And will not be recommending it to my coworkers. read more

I had a horrible encounter with the receptionist. She was rude, dismissive and probably racist. I came to inquire about an appointment. The receptionist insisted I could not setup an appointment without disclosing my birthdate. I shared my reluctance, and wanted to wait until I actual came in for the appointment to give personal information. I later learned that the heavy accent the receptionist had was Venezuelan. She began to elevate her voice, ran to back, threw the sheet of paper at me to leave my phone number indicating someone would call. She then continued to state that all the other patients don't have problem with leaving their birthdates, all while she was appearing visibly upset, angry and even guestures (hands/facial) included and mumbling about me. I was so confused and felt dejected by the horrific and dismissive treatment by the receptionist that I could not imagine who hired her and all I could suspect was her job/purpose was to run Chapel Street Dental into ground. I wish I could give a lower than one star. AWFUL! SHAME ON HER!!! read more

I've been going here since they opened and do not share the same perspective as these other reviewers. Service has always been friendly and accomodating. I get a yearly cleaning, checkup, xrays and fillings. It's a doctor's office, I don't go in expecting restaurant service. Wait times are wait times. When I was really sick and thought there was a problem with my teeth, I was able to see the doctor the same day. Turned out it wasn't a dental issue but a sinus infection. Still, I received excellent attention and service. I've had a few cavities filled here with no issues. read more

Horrible experience. Went in for a cleaning and came back for two fillings. The cleaning was fine but for the fillings I had to go back THREE more times because the fillings weren't done right. Everytime I bit down it was intense pain. When I went back the guy seemed confused and lost and kept asking me..."is it ok now?". You're the dentist dude. I never had a dentist ask me if the fillings were done right. It is still causing me a little bit of pain but no way am I going back there. They are quite rude as well. Don't bother going on time. Every time I got called in at least 20 mins after my scheduled appointment. Avoid like the plague. read more

Had a procedure done here. It didn't work. I've gone back several times trying to get it retreated and Dr says it's all in my mind and acts like I'm stupid. Don't throw your money away going here. read more
