My hygienist, Peggy and everyone I have had the pleasure to deal with have been great and sincerely care about your dental care.

I waited for 2 hours the first time and left. I couldn't believe how many ppl he had in there. I…read morecannot believe this Dentist is run so poorly. Incompetent ppl! Careless cold cruel. Pulling teeth out nothing caring how its replaced. Stop jamming that dirty little office with tons of people and maybe you can do better work. You are clearly not to concerned with your image.

Overall, a bad experience. My first cleaning was done poorly. Felt like a nail tech was prepping my…read moreteeth rather than cleaning my gumline. Didn't record my pocket health even after I inquired. The hygienist continued against my protest and inquiries. They told me "Everything was good" after my x-rays. I told them it was not. I was gaslit for weeks about tooth pain and migraines. They told me to see my PCP who referred me *back* to my dental provider. I returned because my face was swelling, and I knew whatever was wrong wasn't right. They told me to floss and use an electric toothbrush. No x-rays. No emergency exam. No option to yank my tooth. Nothing. Just go home and floss. Ok. I called *again* because things worsened. The receptionist told me to see a TMJ specialist that my insurance would cover. They declined to refer me to this specialist and continued to repeat "call your provider to see who is in network". No sense of urgency. No option. No way to see the dentist so that he could refer me. They told me to wait four months until he *would* see me again. And then they said they were booked out five months. So, which was it? They claimed that I couldn't pay out of pocket, but the truth is that Chapel Street (and other facilities) discriminates towards those of us with Husky Insurance. No way that any ethical practitioner would see my x-rays and send me on my way without a treatment plan. I'm not a trained professional and I knew something wasn't right. I wouldn't recommend that anyone go to them. If you're in pain, go to a reputable place and ask for a payment plan. You'll regret letting them near your mouth.

I've been going here for over a decade. Front desk can be a little rough around the edges. It's…read moregotten a little better given a lot of the forms are online and there is less interaction. The hygienists are for sure kind and attentive. Drs spend 2 -5 minutes with patients. Last visit was super shady. First, I filled out the paperwork with medical information - totally appropriate for 6 month visit. None of my information has changed. AND THEN I was told I was required to complete an identical medical survey for a private company to access medical records that sold products for sleep apnea. I was told patients could leave the office without completing it by the front desk- totally unethical- there should have a been a disclosure form available around transparency and consent. As a medical provider, I was disgusted by their ruse and will not be returning. The overall care is adequate, but administrative practices are suspect.

I really wouldn't recommend New Haven Dental Group. I've had multiple appointments where either the…read morewrong dentist was scheduled or I ended up waiting over an hour past my scheduled time. On top of that, they've failed to send reminders or notifications for appointments more than once, which led to missed appointments--and then they charged me cancellation fees. The front desk staff is often rude and unhelpful, which just makes a frustrating situation worse. Even routine cleanings have been incredibly painful--unlike anything I've experienced at any other dental office. I genuinely tried to give this place a fair chance, but the constant scheduling mistakes, lack of communication, unprofessional attitude, and overall disorganization make it really hard to justify staying. It's been a consistently bad experience from start to finish.

First and foremost, the doctor talked to me like an adult, answered all my questions and explained everything he was doing. He and his staff were gentle and patient, which is so key to any dental experience- especially when you are in pain! I needed an extraction and he referred me immediately to a surgeon who saw me right away. The tooth is out! And the best news is that Dr. Quigley is setting up a treatment plan for my ongoing dental issues - not just telling me to come back in six months. It felt great to be listened to and cared for with compassion and understanding. Highly recommended!

They made space for me in their busy calendar, calmed me down. helped me get on a payment schedule for my non-insurance, and explained everything to me in detail under I understood my decisions and my charges. Dr. Quigley took absolute care with my teeth, helped me with my sensitively problems, diagnosed my undiagnosed nighttime grinding, and helped me get on a WAY better dental routine [even though I literally thought I was taking the best care of my teeth - I wasn't]. No cavities in 3 years! I'm in Washington, DC now and I wish I could go up to New Haven just to go to the dentist.
