Loved our tasting with Karen today. We stumbled upon this place - intended to go to Doffo but we arrived well before they opened. Lucky for us Chapin opened at 10am!!! Beautiful property and views and ALL the wines we tasted were amazing. Karen was friendly and attentive, giving us tips on wines to try and other wineries to visit. Highly recommend!!!

Chapin was my favorite stop on our wine tour yesterday. The grounds are beautiful and the service was exceptional from everyone I encountered. I fell in love with their '24 barrel cabernet, but couldn't commit to purchasing an entire case. They recommended the next best option, which was their '23 Cabernet and they were right! I look forward to coming back and spending some more time here!

It was a beautiful day to visit this winery and enjoy the outdoors. We had great service and help on the different wines to pick from for the wine flight. I tried a combination of white and red wines. I enjoyed the muscat the best.

My family and I stopped here in search for a venue for a small wedding anniversary with a quick ceremony. This family-owned, small production vineyard was casual with a quiet atmosphere. Staff are all friendly and welcoming. The tasting room is small and very casual. They do not have a restaurant, but they do have a pizza vendor who serves delicious pizza. It was soo good that we finished one whole pizza and ended up ordering another. There's plenty of seating along with picnic benches. I was able to try their 2023 Sauvignon Blanc. Very fruity and delicious.

Enjoyed the pizza and the wines. Great ambiance and relaxation. Favorite was Giuda. So good!

    What a view! (behind me)

Another beautiful addition to the area. The scenery makes me want to live out here. They have umbrellas that are adjustable, which made sitting in the sun not so bad. I burn within mins of being outside so the umbrella was a life saver. Great staff, very friendly and knowledgeable of the wine selection. I am not a huge wine drinker but the wine was good, I had one favorite of the 3 that I tried. They had more limits to the wine tasting than other places I've tried, but the pour amount wasn't bad. I would absolutely come back next time I'm in the area.

We have driven by this place several times, and finally had the chance to stop in. We shared a wine tasting, which they do by "table service," instead of standing at the bar, which is $28 for any six wines. We tried the Cabernet Sauvignon, Rock Creek Syrah, Montepulciano, Cab, Franc, petite sirah and Zinfandel. They were all pretty good, but our favorites were the Cab Franc and Petite Sirah. Nice patio with a few of the vineyards and the rolling Hills beyond, but quite windy. Very friendly service by Jeremy. Was chilly, so they brought us a heat lamp, which helped.

View of sunset from the back porch of tasting building.

Have you ever been out somewhere where the staff was so welcoming that you thought you were at a friend's house instead? That's exactly how we felt thanks to Kim and Kristi. And the wines, especially every Syrah, were delicious. Plus the photo of the view speaks for itself. A must-see if you're wine tasting or need a break from whatever.

Busy on a Friday, but we loved it. They offered us a discount for hubby's military service. We got a bottle of Tempranillo to share and it was awesome!

I came here on a Sunday . The weather was perfect. Service is a 10!! I Pleasantly enjoyed my wine. I got Muscat wine. I love it . Sweet but not too sweet. Just the right balance. They have wine tastings or you can get by the class. I do not think they serve food. Only cheeses and crackers. The atmosphere and grounds are lovely and beautiful .. it's December and there is still fall foliage. Kristy is welcoming and knowledgeable. She made our last minute visit wonderful ..

Beautiful winery with gorgeous views of the vines and friendly service. We were referred here by a somm at another local winery and the wines did not disappoint! The petite syrah was our favorite.

me and my husband absolutely love this winery. Their wines are great the servers who work there the pour the wine are amazing. They're so friendly. They're so knowledgeable. It was great. We had our wedding here. It was a beautiful venue. Our only thing is do not use their wedding coordinator she was absolutely horrible. I'd rather spend more money and got one who actually knew what she was doing. I found out that she fed the workers there before my guest got their food out of money I spent on the food I said after my guest got their food their first order they can go get their food. She fed them before and fed herself after she was gonna get me and my husband's food when our food came to us it was cold on top of that. Our wedding stuff was blowing away, everything i made before the wedding started and I called her and she could care less she had to get her hair done and get her makeup done. Said everything was gonna be fine that my bridesmaid had to go down and fix everything and tie everything down which she should've been doing not my bridesmaid on top of that, I said I needed all the lights turned on at the tables before the guest sat down. She did not do it. They were doing it when people were sitting down, which was really unprofessional like I said everything about the venue was great beautiful wine was amazing the owner is amazing staff great perfect place for a wedding Just don't use their wedding coordinator.

Last time I was here was probably 12 years ago, and WOW has this place changed. It's basically the Disneyland of wineries now! There's a mimosa station when you arrive, wine tastings in the main building, cabana-style seating on the lawn, and tables and chairs almost everywhere you look. They also have an onsite grille restaurant, wine clubs, tours, and the cutest little shop inside. The property itself is beautiful with tons of photo spots, vineyards you can stroll through, and even a little man-made lake that gives the whole place a whimsical feel. There's also a ballroom with a huge projector where we watched the World Cup game! And random but important... bathrooms everywhere. The dress code is super chill here! It was HOT when we visited, and I even saw guys walking around in flip-flops, so definitely dress comfortably for the weather. They even have a shuttle that picks you up and drops you off at the parking lot! It comes around about every 15 minutes, and tips are welcomed. Our shuttle driver told us Wilson Creek has a contract with Disneyland, where they sell their infamous Almond Champagne, and you can also find some of their champagnes at Ralph's! The staff were all super friendly! For tastings, you purchase a tasting card at the register and then belly up to the wine bar to choose your pours. You can also just grab a glass or bottle of wine, and they even have beers on tap! You can get married here, host an event, grab food, spend the day wine tasting, or just hang out and enjoy the property. It's seriously such a happening place and we can't wait to come back!

SERVICE: Jalynne, our Leoness hostess, is a consummate (and cheerful) professional. After her informative, concise overview of Leonesses offerings, we opted (as the vast number of guests there) for the "brunch" buffet. Despite the guest-crush, all staffers we encountered were knowledgeable, courteous, efficient and good listeners. Qualities which made our visit an absolute pleasure! FOOD: All selections we had - customized omelets; other eggs; prime rib; shrimp cocktail; mahi-mahi; multiple potato preparations; waffles; salads; fresh-cut fruits: all quite tasty, fresh and adequate. WINES: Once we were ready to munch and sip, - aside from our main beverages - we experienced a memorable (member's) wine tasting. WOW! curated by Jalynne, her presentations were well-timed and just paired perfectly with our food choices - Jalynne can conduct her way through an orchestra of food ... incredible! Our non-sommelier judgement? Their wines are superb! AMBIENCE: The external and interior layouts, the views, the tasting room/store area all are beautiful - interiors are well designed and quite ergonomically laid out. Leoness, it appears you are taking care of business and your staff - they are taking care of you!

The must try dishes for me were the Salmon&Ahi Crudo, as well as the ceviche. Both plates were quite refreshing, but watch out for the spiciness! The sweet and spicy crudo was set inside of a toasted coconut with some chips to enjoy alongside the fish. The ceviche also came with some chips, but had a more savory and citrus taste. We got 2 entrees, the Linguini De Mariscos and and the Pot Pie Espanol. Both dishes were quite rich. The linguini dish had lobster, scallops, and shrimp. The pot pie dish had filet mignon, lobster, and bone marrow. The flaky crust was definitely memorable. As for service, Phillip was great. He had recommended a rosé to go along with my dish. I was looking for a sweet wine, but they were out that day. Once we received our check, we had a bit of a wait since a large party needed their order taken. Other than that, the service was great, out water was constantly getting filled by the attentive staff.
