Wanted to order some other things but my refrigerator is full at home, so another time. If this will be your first time, just be aware of parking could be very busy as there's not much. Their refrigerator cases had the makings for a simple picnic to an extravagant spread -- and everything in between. It's called the Village Butcher because it also is a butcher shop in addition to selling sandwiches. There is no inside seating, but there is plenty of outdoor tables. (Last year we had a mushroom turnover that was equally impressive despite not being straight out of the oven.) The egg & cheese breakfast sandwich was a little more dull in comparison--still good, but could have used more seasoning and pizzazz. Anyway, we think it's probably better to come here for lunch to get a heartier meal because sandwiches seem to be their thing. We're looking forward to trying one on our next visit. Either way, a great place worth visiting if you're in Woodstock.
