Batman was supposed scheduled to be at my son's b-day party at the park from 2-3pm. However, I preferred him arriving at earlier. My contact at Character Masters said that Batman may have a prior gig but would check for me days before the party. It turned out that he was able to schedule Batman to come at 1pm. Come the day of the party, the kids were just finishing up hitting the Batman pinata around 12:59pm, and guess who shows up on point? Batman! He arrived exactly at 1pm and went straight to work by getting the kids lined up for the first of 6 activities. I had about 12 kids, and Batman handled them like a pro! We had Batman for an hour, and he finished all the activities in about 45 minutes, which was plenty time for the 4-year olds. Batman joined in on the birthday song and cake cutting and still had time for photo ops at the end. It was perfectly timed and worth the investment. I'm sure glad I chose a Batman character over a moon bouncer because the kids had way more fun with Batman! read more

I ordered Iron man , and Captain America . Ohmy gosh I can not tell you how much this made my sons birthday party . The kids absolutely loved it . They played games with them for a full hour , like throw the shield in a bucket and punching bag and tug a war, and even gave Quinn a Id. card & all the kids got avengers certificates. We booked a surprise Batman appearance for my daughter's 4th birthday party at the park with approx. 25-30 kids. Communication with the office was great, super friendly and responsive - especially on the day of. When Batman showed up, my daughter's face was priceless. She ran up to him right away and would not leave his side! It was the best gift ever - seriously! Batman did such a great job engaging all the kids and still found time to make her feel special. The costume looked legit and quite impressive. We booked the shell shock package. I've been booking characters from various companies in Southern California for many years now and I would say the ninja turtles and April were good but not great. Based on the reviews here I was surprised to see how low energy they were and their voices were so soft that they could not command a room - if you were more than 6' from Leonardo you couldn't hear a word he was saying. My April (who I don't see in any photos in this album on Yelp) was good but not Disney-level entertainment like I've found from other characters over the years. Overall I would still recommend as I feel they were a key part of our party but they rely on their costumes and aesthetics for the party impression more than their acting or personalities. The kids did love the ninja fighting and games with the first two turtles. April's face painting is just masks which I expected but sharing here for others. read more

We are die-hard Star Wars fans and wanted our daughter's 6th year old Star Wars birthday bash to be memorable and enjoyable for the kids as well as for the adults. We got the characters, as well as all the droids. We invested so much on the custom background props (Executor Bridge - Empire Strike Back's Star Destroyer), and even reinvented The Hoth planet with 10 tons real snow and wouldn't want to go with anything less than perfect Star Wars characters. If you are looking for the best Star Wars characters, look no further. Our party is still the talk in town! Brandon and his team were professionals, easy to work with and it was a life time opportunity for us to get all Star Wars characters, plus droids all together. We couldn't even get such great photo ops at the Galaxy Edge's Disneyland (Note: Our party was not at Disneyland) and many of our guests commenting that Character Masters' SW were way better than those from Disneyland. Idk how I'm going to express how amazing my experience was but I'll try. We threw a Star Wars party for my cousin turning 5 he's obsessed witness Star Wars. We ordered the deluxe package which included Jedi training academy light saber building r2d2 which was the most amazing machine, and the hologram of yoda. We had adults in awe with their jaws dropped. The kids were entertained the whole time all 90 minutes. Brandon was amazing with the kids, he stayed in character the whole time , And the beautiful young lady who was Kylo ren and rey and face painted was amazing as well This was a party people will be talking about for a long time. It was worth every penny and more. Even the Jedi training was perfect enough, but all the rest that followed was such a treat. Character masters is 1000% worth it. I was hesitant to find a random character host. However after talking to Brandon and his professionalism I felt a little better. The day of the event I didn't hear from the characters, they didn't check in with me so I got a little worried. But then, from the corner of my eye, there he was! The Jedi master in full costume and music playing walking over to us!! ( and totally on time by the way) it was Totally flipping awesome!!! Everyone's mouth dropped!! The package included everything my son wanted face painting, fossil digging, games and of course he got to meet "blue" the big raptor as he calls it and it was amazing he loved it.
