At 45¢/kWh, the price seemed good. Once inside the parking lot, the car did have trouble finding a supercharger spot, so we had to manually drive (I know, the humanity) and park at a 250 kW space. In order for the car to find a supercharger spot, I needed to input that into the car's navigation system. Not only is there shopping nearby and Whole Foods, but there are eateries and restrooms.

This is a very nice Tesla supercharger station located close to Highway 50 in a covered parking lot…read moreright next to Whole Foods. There are also some dining options in nearby. This is a safe location with lighting and many shoppers. There are also over 20 chargers at this location so even if it is a busy time you will likely not have to wait for long. I would recommend this location. Also there are 2 more Superchargers on the way to Lake Tahoe. One near highway 50 and the exit for Missouri Flat Rd and another one a bit further north in Placerville. Also I highly recommend you max your charge before leaving this area because once we got so caught up with sightseeing we n the mountains near Lake Tahoe that we forgot to charge!!!! There are less Superchargers once you are in the mountains. Luckily we found another supercharger near Donner Lake but barely made it.

The bathrooms were also in need of maintenance, with no paper towels by 5pm. There did not seem to be a shortage of staff working that day. This used to be a destination theater for us with the dbox theaters. I really hope some attention is thrown toward this theater as it appears to be struggling. Even the theater seats were in need of attention.

For example, the shredded cheese comes in 2 smaller bags vs the competitor's giant size bags. They also carry a wider variety of items(candy, chips, snacks, clothing) that you can find at a regular retail grocery store. Interesting items I found: whole Mexican papayas, fresh coconut juice in the shell, freshly squeezed orange juice, meat pizza, delicious birthday cake with whipped icing, machine that gives out household samples to name a few. I purchased my membership when it was discounted so watch out for it.

They were not able to get either working so I could charge. Beyond frustrating. I have never been able to get an EVGo charger to work without having to contact customer service (multiple locations) but this time they were unable to get it to work. So now I'm in the mountains having to find a different charger. If I didn't have a big credit for EVGo from my car it chase I would never consider using them!

Folks were parking on the side streets. That's when I figured if the lot was this crowded, I dare not go inside. I trucked on over to Rancho Cordova. It was not nearly as crowded as Folsom. But the customer service was off in the strangely irritating way. It started with the man standing at the membership scan machine. I didn't pay attention to notice if the card was scanned, so I went to do it again. He ejected his hand inches from my face and shouted Good. No he didn't, but yes he did. Then the woman folding clothes came next to me to refold clothes. Like right next to me. Elbow to elbow. Odd. Then an another staff person came charging at me with a pallet cart. And stopped in a screeching halt less than a foot away from me. Ugh. The redeeming customer service came from the cashier. She salvaged my experience to bump up the overall rating to 3. Anyways this Costco has the similar items as others. It has a gas station, optical center, pharmacy, tire center, heating aid center,, and food court. The selection of stores is plentiful but to my disappointment, there was no luxury brands here like the Livermore Outlet. Adidas and Vans has 40 + 50% off on select items. For front parking at the main entrance the outlet charges a fee however there is free parking outside the main entrance. It's a nice outlet to visit however I don't think I would come back because of the limited selection of luxury stores and the parking situation.
