SACRAMENTO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT @ SACRAMENTO…read more This was my first time flying through Sacramento International Airport, and overall I had a pretty good experience. One of the first things you'll notice is the giant red rabbit sculpture in the main area, which is definitely a fun and unique feature of the airport. I flew out of Terminal B with Alaska Airlines. My return flight was delayed, but it honestly wasn't too bad. The airport feels spacious, and there wasn't much traffic or congestion while I was there. The bathrooms were clean, and there was a decent variety of food options throughout the terminal. The one downside was the lounge. I would honestly give it a 0/10. The line was incredibly long, and it didn't seem worth the wait unless you're arriving several hours before your flight. We ended up skipping it altogether. One thing I noticed is that the bathrooms can be a little difficult to find since they aren't as visible or frequent as in some other airports, but they are spread throughout the terminal. Overall, Sacramento International Airport provided a solid travel experience. It was clean, easy to navigate, and much less hectic than many larger airports. I would definitely fly through here again.

TSA pre-check a breeze, except I always seem to get selected for the "random" check. Still an easy process. Airport gate seating areas were clean. Restrooms were nice. Fully enclosed private stalls always appreciated.

Like most Costco's parking can be a bit rough, but if you're willing to walk a bit you can typically find a spot here. The staff is friendly from the front card scanning area, check out team, and the receipt checking team at the door. They even have extra staff near the registers sometimes that can pre-scan your items to keep the lines moving. We typically come here for produce like potatoes, mushrooms, asparagus, mandarin oranges, along with chicken, eggs, and some home staples. These are typically in stock, good quality, and good value. One item I love here is the Lee's Cafe Latte Frozen Concentrate, this location was carrying it for a long time but I was so bummed when they stopped. There are still some other locations within driving distance that have it but that's the hardest part about falling in love with specialty items, they might not be around for long. Overall this location is clean, organized, and well stocked. It makes shopping for our family a lot easier too.

So after work I sometimes stop by at this Natomas Costco to grab some essentials. On weekends, if we happen to have an event in this part of town or are meeting up with friends, we'd come and do some actual and window shopping too. While the wife does her grocery shopping and take the kids to try the samples (their fav activity at Costco), I usually wander around a bit by myself and see what kinds of new home improvement, tech, outdoors and landscape, household tools, and sports stuff Costco have stocked recently. Window shopping by wandering is fun at Costco. There seems to be more and more try-it-on-the-customers items that come and go that if I don't pay attention then they're gone if they don't sell well or Costco just decides not to give them floor space anymore. Then of course there are the seasonal items, like weed blankets, gardening tools, fertilizer/top soil, etc. and other real useful items at great prices at Costco (vs. other big box stores) that are only available for a short time every year for one season, so I like to be on the lookout for those. Another section I like to check out is the meat cold cases b/c I like meat. With summer around the corner, I saw some cool outdoors and sports equipment recently. There were kids outdoor games to include a cornhole set with LED (talk about fancy) for backyard fun, water slides, bouncy house types, kiddie blow-up outdoors "swimming" (more like dipping) pool, and to my surprise, I saw a couple of nice looking kayaks on sale too, they looked like solid ones and reasonably priced. Next, I went over to the meat section and checked out the goods. We sometimes get the cooked grilled chicken in a vacuum pack for salads and easy meals like stir-fry, sandwiches, etc. Interestingly, there's now a derivation w/this new "Grilled Chipotle Seasoned Chicken." Looks like it's a spicy version of the grilled rotisserie chicken meat packs. Another new product was the thin sliced pork belly shabu shabu style, good value so we can do our own hotpot at home easily now. And the thicker cut pork belly is still available. All in all, this was a good trip to the Natomas Costco, I enjoyed grabbing some meats for meals, and saw lots of cool new products on sale.

While we typically rely on a family friend for electrical work, his current unavailability forced us to look for a local professional. After reaching out to several businesses well past midnight, Gene was the only one to provide an immediate response. His promptness and willingness to engage outside of standard business hours were incredibly impressive. Despite my own scheduling challenges and a delay in my communication the following day, Gene remained remarkably patient and professional. Once we connected, he was able to accommodate an appointment quickly. Upon arrival, Gene was thorough and efficient. He systematically troubleshot the electrical panels and exterior AC connections. When the initial tests didn't reveal the source of the problem, he went above and beyond by inspecting the furnace in the attic. While I initially feared the issue might require a separate HVAC specialist, Gene identified and resolved the root cause himself. He took the time to explain the technical details, ensuring I understood the work being performed. It is rare to find a technician who is as honest as they are skilled. Gene is a true professional who clearly takes pride in his work and treats his clients with genuine care. I highly recommend Gene and Plug Electric to anyone seeking an experienced, trustworthy, and responsive electrician. I will certainly be referring him to my own network in the future.

When going to the Sacramento airport, I usually travel out of Terminal B with Southwest Airlines. Flying with United Airlines out of Terminal A this time was a nice change-up from the usual, typical routine. PROS: * Variety of dining options available - Starbucks (1st + 2nd level), Magpie Café, Sidewalk Juice, Vino Volo, New Helvetia, West Coast Sourdough, Wendy's, Taylors Market, Centro Cocina Mexicana, and Escape Lounges * Ease of navigation - the terminal was unfamiliar to me, yet doable to navigate through * Main hub of these airline carriers: Air Canada, American Airlines, United Airlines, and Delta Air Lines. * Restrooms were well-maintained, presentable, and clean * Availability of seats near boarding gates CON: * The TSA line was super long and had a minimal number of workers Overall, it was a straightforward experience. I look forward to returning should I have any more flights outside of Southwest Airlines (Terminal B) and need to visit Terminal A.

American Airlines, Delta Airlines, United Airlines, and Air Canada fly out of here. I am flying with American Airlines going to visit family. It gets some used to since I am used to the B Terminal side with Southwest. It doesn't seem like there's as many eateries on this side. I saw Magpie Cafe, Wendy's, West Coast Sourdough, Centro Cocina Mexicana, and Starbucks. There's a Bar New Helvetia which is craft beers brewed in Sacramento which is pretty cool for the beer lover!! There's Taylor's as well. Oh! There's those market shops and other retailers. I see signs stating more eateries/shops to come. There's signs of remodeling, too. There's vending machine options as well. The bathrooms are always clean and spacious. I love the tall private doors. Inside the stalls are a nice ledge to put your duffle bag on and hang your backpack at the door. I don't like putting anything on the floor! When entering the airport terminal at American Airlines, you can check in at the kiosk or at the counter. Once done, there's escalators to go upstairs. You then walk over to the left in the overpass walkway. You'll see the TSA checkpoint. After this area is your shopping/eateries. Overall, I love smaller scale airports. It's easy peasy to get around. The very large ones may have everything, but it's a workout to get to the area you need to be. This is spacious enough that it deserves the five stars for efficiency and functionality!!

When I saw there was one within the area we were shopping, I knew I had to book it. Made the reservation and decided to see if all possible to check in early. (It wasn't by much) Swasy is the one who greeted me, asked how I was doing and overall made me feel welcomed. She explained the amenities and just by scanning the area, I could tell this was a nice place. As we were making our way up the room, Maria from housekeeping greeted us and let us know if we need anything, please let us know. Arrived at our floor and you can tell how comfy and inviting the bed is. Woke up and decided to take advantage of the gym at 5am. Greeted by Seth as I was helping myself to coffee. There were some items ready in which he added to help myself. As I thanked him, he reminded me breakfast will start at 7am and provided me what was on the menu. Made it to breakfast with Cecilia who works the area. I briefly met her along with Madison when I first checked in. Breakfast was fresh and flavorful Checking out I was greeted by Madison who I recognized yesterday when I checked in. Told her shes pulling a double in which she giggled and has such an infectious smile. Overall I am very satisfied with the awesome customer service especially the attentiveness and acknowledgement. Highly recommend
