This place exceeded every expectation imaginable for us. My wife and I were spending one night in Killington, and looked for places within walking distance of our hotel. We only stopped in here for an afternoon drink because our room wasn't ready. It was a Thursday, and once we looked and saw a $25(!!!) lobster special, we told the bartender we'd be back for dinner. We returned a few hours later and sidled up to the bar. The same bartender we had chatted with before quickly served us drinks and we ordered clam chowda --- we're tourists, we had to! It was phenomenal, and I enjoyed every bite. Once we saw that the lobster special is an actual, full, lobster --- not just the tail, but the entire thing --- we decided to split it. I'm glad we did because there was so much meat on that! It was a challenge to break through, but I'm glad we did it. And for $25, it was worth every crack. We enjoyed a couple more drinks and decided we could share one more item. We ordered the smash burger and subbed creamed corn for the side. It was an excellent way to close out a fantastic evening. Shortly after, we closed out and walked back to the hotel. If you find yourself in Killington and want a chill place, kind and patient service, and great food, I highly recommend stopping here. If we are ever back in the area, we'll definitely come by.

Refused to service my family and I because we're Italian. Good fries tho. Warm cozy vibe but they clearly don't like Italians or polish.

We were in the area after the Spartan Race and needed to grab an early dinner. This seemed to be the only one open that had standard American fare. There was a group of hungry Spartans with me and the menu was vast enough to pique everyone's taste buds. I loved the old style look of this place; it really looked like an old saloon from the 1800s but it was built in 1971. However, the bar was from France and shipped to the US in 1887, hence the name. The parking lot was spacious. There was an outdoor patio that looked great to dine in. On the front lawn, there was a game of Cornhole. Our server was great. The food came out quick. I had the fried chicken over mash potatoes and gravy; wow, a very delectable dinner. Overall, we had a good time with good food.

This was a lovely place for some lunch during our visit to Killington. The waitress was so helpful in giving us recommendations and so nice overall. She recommended the french onion soup and their smash burgers, which was what we decided to get. I ordered a french onion soup that was not only delicious, but it looked amazing when it arrived -- I almost didn't want to eat it. My husband had a smash burger and was very happy with his choice. The ambiance fit the whole "vibe" from the village overall, it was very cozy and welcoming. Definitely recommend!

I expected a lot less. Looks like a touristy type of place and there wasn't open with walking distance of our hotel. The Pros- all the drinks were good. The Banana Hammock, the Painkiller, the margarita and local beer. The French onion soup was truly, really good. Had the Cabot's tacos- decent. And the pork belly tacos, really just thick cut bacon was good. The cons- don't get the add on guacamole, it's not good and it's a shot of guacamole for $3

    Empty plate of nachos.

All we had were the nachos. Listen to me. These were 10/10 nachos. Do not sleep on the nachos. Hard thing to get right. They knock it out the park. So much respect.

Just had lunch here as we were passing through Killington on our summer trip to the New England states from Northeastern Indiana! No wait at all, which was nice, and had the option of eating inside or outside but we chose inside since my son is dealing with bad allergies/cold. Loved the food choices and we all enjoyed our meals. I had pork belly tacos, wife had the Cobb salad, and my son had bbq smash burger. They were all delicious! Service was quick as the food came right out! Give this place a chance!

Fast, attentive service. Shrimp tacos were good and a good value. Reeses pie was awesome.

Absolutely awful service, slow, they ignore your table and sit on their phones. Charges for multiple random fees. Terrible place do not go

Good basic food and service. Summertime on the deck with a beautiful view can't be beat.

We got two spots at the bar, that was also almost full. The burgers seemed very popular but after asking our bartender, she said the ribs were really good, off the bone" so we ordered that. Since we don't like too much sauce on them they put the sauce on the side and it was perfect. The ribs were exactly as she described them, tender, perfectly cooked. Fries that come with them were great too, and as side we got the suggested Brussels sprouts, and must recommend them too. They were delicious! The coleslaw wasn't our favorite but everything else was great. Casual atmosphere, with food options for all.

If was good, well good but kind of bland. The fries were good, but my wife's onion rings were a little overcooked...as were all the onion rings orders.we saw go by us so that appears to just be how they do them. We started with and order of the buffalo wings and their brussel sprouts appetizer. The brussel sprouts were very good and the highlight of the meal. The chicken wings were cooked very well, tender and juicy, but the buffalo sauce was just and average sauce. Good, but nothing to make note of. Would we eat there again? Sure.
