The install team took pride in their work, and it shows. And once installed getting it turned on with the SDG&E was relatively quick. Everyone was extremely professional and patient as I asked a million questions. Their price was more than fair as I found some places as much as 50% more, for the same products. Check around on same equipment to feel comfortable with pricing, but know that when it comes to design, permitting and quality install, Solar Optimum gets it right. All for what I found to be the best price. I never expected to be this satisfied with the process, and they fully deserve a "*****" rating. Well done.

Bc Everytime I get a timing commitment, it's delayed and or no show and then also no updates. The project is still on-going with skirting, commissioning wasn't even done , painting of pipes/conduits... so will update accordingly. 8/6/26 : the team swiftly came the next day and finished painting and commissioning so I will add a star. 8/12/26: Just had a constructive discussion with Dayne and Savannah -- overall very positive. While my earlier frustrations were real, the conversation helped me better understand the complexities of the contractor side of the business. I also came away feeling that OC Solar genuinely puts care and attention into each project. The project isn't fully complete yet (inspections, skirting, and a few other items remain), but the overall execution moved at lightning speed and exceeded my own expectations. Nick helped dial in the system design and made sure everything made sense for our home, and Mark oversaw the install side and kept things moving smoothly. Permitting and inspections were handled by the team and communicated the steps along the way. There were no surprises. They sent me a new tracking app to join last year so I could share my system information with them, which leads me to believe they weren't tracking the system the way they said they would be. The data it shared is the same data I had already communicated with them.

Received Outrageous quotes for a 9.2KW Residential system from all of the big guys (Solar City,…read moreSempersolaris, etc) for around $35K, so I decided to buy the product, pull my own permits, and hire my own installer. I bought the system for $15.5K from Catalina Solar Energy, and my installer recommended Solar Permit Services. I had found one other promising company on Craigslist, but they were asking $600, and that seemed a bit steep. I contracted Solar Permit Services, and start to finish they took 4 business days, and charged me only $295 for what I needed (some cities may require additional stamps, etc, which would cost more - double check your local city requirements - most are very simple/fast-tracked for solar). I received final plans the 4th business day, and they were approved over the counter at my city planning division with no corrections needed. These guys are awesome; I highly recommend them.

I wanted to share my recent wonderful experience with my recent service visit with Infinity Solar…read more I purchased my system in 2024 (detailed review also done); during this time, my solar generation has been absolutely wonderful, and sized perfectly by Kay. My electric bill is essentially free over all of 2025 and this year. Some months have a $10 dollar bill, other months negative depending on how sunny each day is. I have had zero issues whatsoever and system works like clockwork. The installation over my tile roof, done through Terrazas roofing, partnered with Solar has also been top notch with zero issues with multiple major storms last year. I would say i was 110% satisfied with my decision to go solar and with Infinity solar. Fast forward to 2026. A series of recent power outages resulted in no power in my home. My initial thinking was that my system should have generated power with a fully charged battery during this outage. After calling Infinity, it was relayed that my system per contract was only set up for load shifting by design, lowering cost which I had decided on. After discussing 2 options to allow for backup power generation, i decided to proceed with the upgrade. Throughout the process, the entire team supported me exceptionally, starting with Sara who stepped in to help speak to me when the service department was not available at the time. As i did'nt understand my contract fully,, i reached out to Kay in sales, whom i did not speak to in 2 years, who really went above and beyond to explain to me in full detail how my system was set up, and options i had to upgrade. Kay treated me like family. I was so appreciative of her kind approach. She helped coordinate a technical call with Joel to fully answer all my technical questions. Once i decided i was comfortable with to proceed with the upgrade, the service team took over, with Vanessa and Brianna helping me schedule my service. Vanessa and Brianna work tremendously well together; super friendly, pleasant, professional and helpful. I requested looking into a couple options which Vanessa followed up on and accommodated without hesitation. A straight forward and exact quote was provided on Thursday. Their service and help was fantastic and greatly appreciated. Upon approving my quote on Thursday, my service was completed on the following Tuesday, much faster than I expected. Upgrade was performed by Ivan, electrician specialist. Ivan also initially setup my system in 2024. His expertise is perhaps, in my view, the finest in the industry. I felt very fortunate and appreciative knowing i hd my system in the best hands. He spent about 3 hours working on my system, explaining all the steps. Work performed was tremendous. Ivan patiently answering all my questions on some of the system parameters forgotten over the past 2 years. System was up and running and verified to work fully with a simulated power outage performed through the fuse box, and through the app. I was thrilled to now have backup power during outages. Billing and final payment was as quoted and super easy. In closing, the real mark of any business is how you are treated after the job is complete. My belief is that Infinity solar lives up to their reputation of being an exceptional 5 star company providing high expertise solar services through all phases of a project; sales, installation, commission, operational life, and post installation services. They have stolen $600 from my business account and are "looking into" returning it. It was stolen and it needs to be returned asap. Every customer service person I deal with on the phone has a very thick heavy accent . I happen to speak Spanish, so I'm able to communicate somewhat but I feel very bad for any Customer that's calling that does not speak Spanish. When we first started with them, they were very kind and communicative until they installed the solar system... After they installed the solar system, they do anything but communicate. And they never trained us on the system. We had no idea how to take care of it and it wasn't operating for probably the first half of the year... A service guy happened to come out at our prompting and he found out it was never working at full capacity. We even have the Tesla battery and we had no power for one day when they took the power away in our area... And that is what the Tesla battery is for. It's a back up so that you don't lose power and it failed miserably. This company quite honestly needs to be sued and I'm happy to join a class action lawsuit. If there's anyone out there that would like to start it. I am BEYOND disgusted and disappointed with this so called solar company. And Brian Kennedy is the Customer Service Experience Manager and he's made my experience abundantly worse.
