Since I had visited this location a few times over the years, I decided to stop in. I'm so glad I did. Kevin was standing near the front and greeted me right away with a big smile. He was incredibly helpful in helping me find exactly the type of shoes I had in mind. What I really appreciated was how friendly and professional he was. There was absolutely no pressure, just genuine help. My time is very limited, so great service like that really makes a difference. I ended up purchasing the pair he recommended, and I'm very happy with them. Because of the wonderful service and the great comfort fit, I highly recommend coming to this location. When I asked for help, rather than asking what size I normally wear or taking the time to understand what I was looking for, she simply grabbed multiple sizes. The experience felt more like I was shopping on my own than being assisted by a sales stylist. I gave the store another chance and came back a second time. Unfortunately, the experience was exactly the same. The same sales associate was in the back, came out, gave a quick hello, and immediately went back to being on her phone. There was very little effort to engage with customers or create a welcoming shopping experience. I was also disappointed with the quality of the clothing. For the prices being charged, I expected much better quality. Some of the threads were already coming loose, and the overall construction did not feel worth the price. For the price point and quality, I honestly feel you can find better options elsewhere. I don't even typically shop at SHEIN, but the quality-to-price ratio here was disappointing enough that I would rather spend my money elsewhere. Overall, the combination of poor customer service, lack of attention from the sales associate, and overpriced clothing that feels cheaply made made this a very disappointing shopping experience. They're heavily promoting their Maeve brand. They also had a little shoe feature which I hadn't seen before. I checked out the sale items & they had a good selection, but nothing caught my eye. Then as I was poking around the Maeve section, I noticed a really cute white button down with embroidered horses on it. Then I spotted a couple of sweaters with a horse motif, some really adorable red trousers & a red shirt that said "Ciao Bella". I brought the goods into the changing room, and ultimately decided on the white blouse with the horses. I was happy to note that there is a 20% discount for students and teachers as well. Anthropologie skews on the higher end for everything from clothes, to candles, to toiletries & costume jewelry. Prices get a little better for sale items, but most of the time, everything is still pricey. Anthropologie's clothes do tend to be well-made and quality on the whole & when building or curating your wardrobe, you can find some pieces that will be favorites for years to come.
