My last review was 2017- but I've ate here here probably 40 times since then and every time the…read morefood has been fantastic. It's usually just my hubby and I. Dinner always 100% delicious. We started with the meatballs, hubby had the calzone, which to me is really a two meal dish and 1/2 half goes home... I'll get back to that. I like the white clam sauce with linguine it's delicious, it's another large portion and 1/2 went home with us.... because they have zeppoles YES!!! Now they are light, airy and have tons of powdered sugar on them and I am ok with that- if you need a sauce they come with chocolate sauce on the side- my husband likes them this way--- but I prefer raspberry sauce myself, I'm not Italian and I have been told by my hubby's family and Italians it's powdered sugar only and if you need sauce, would chocolate or Nutella be allowed! ! end of discussion lol- .......but here I am sitting on my couch eating "our" zeppoles with powdered sugar and raspberry sauce, typing on my keyboard with powdered sugar fingers!! and he's legit cringing !! BAWAWAWAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA (EVIL REDHEAD LAUGH)

never again I am not the guy who likes to try nee places…read morewhen I have the great places already. here is a perfect example. first off, if uou want great pizza in this area, Romeo33 and Bacco are you places to go!! always incredible. a friend of mine wanted to try this place. Sat at bar and ordered meatball app - not bad - then ordered margharita pie - in this day and age, when pizza has become a gourmet situation and thr world has become obsessed, I would think that anyone selling it should be on their game. it came out and the mozzerella was sour - I had guy taste it and he agreed. after i figured let me be safe and order regular and specificall said a few times, light cheese and extra sauce. pie comes out alot of cheese and little sauce and quite honestly the regular mozzerella also tasted a bit sour. I was willing to live with it. my issue aside from bad food is when bill came, I expected guy to either comp the pizza or offer coffee or something.... not only did he not do it but he kept charge for margarita when i had a regular which is cheaper. save your time and money and go to one I listed above - you will not only be happy, but you will now have 2 go-to places that are on point 100% of the time

I met up with my buddy Tyler from Foodula and we got the item I wanted...and then some! So the item I wanted was a meatball pizza that had meatball garlic knots as the crust. This would have been sufficient enough for anyone but ya know ... not us . We also ordered a pizza with cup and char pepperoni and chopped up mozz sticks on it where the crust was chicken vodka parm sliders. WHAT?!?! crazy. And maybe we added some wings. And uhh..maybe some thunder sticks. The thunder sticks were insane. Fried perfectly with great flavor and the cheese was perfectly melted. We had chil fil a flavored wings and also Thai chili wings. The wings themselves were cooked really well and had great juiciness and flavor. If I got these 2 apps I would have left perfectly happy. The pizzas were wild. I will admit in hindsight the mozz sticks on the vodka parm pizza were maybe a bit overkill on the cheesiness. Without them it may have been even better, but the cutlets were thin and cooked perfectly and the flavor was great. Both pizzas were a little doughier than I typically prefer but they had nice char and crispiness underneath. The meatball garlic knots were awesome. Meatballs had great flavor and texture. This place .. is not cheap. I do think what we had was worth the cost, but plan to spend more than you'd normally plan to spend on pizza here. With the bells and whistles comes dollar signs, I was okay with the tradeoff. Joe's Rotisseria - Didn't Suck!

The half of chicken was so good, crispy skin but juicy inside. I thought the Mac and cheese with penne pasta was fun and delicious as well the mashed potatoes. The pinwheel and mozzarella stick were good but the chicken was my favorite. The ambiance is chill and easy going. Love all the Asbury park artwork.

We started with and order of Mussels Fra Diavolo (spicy) to share and they were terrific - meaty, tasty with plenty to share. Drinks consisted of Red Sangria, Drop Top IPA, Canyon Road Merlot, J Lohr Cab and Kane Port Omna. They have a good beer selection and wines are okay. Their Special menu for St Patrick's Day is quite nice. My wife went for Fish and Chips, and we also ordered two Corned Beef Reubens and a 14oz Ribeye. All were really good along with some hot, crispy fries. We chose to share a dessert (because we could) and the Grannies Hot Apple Cobbler was perfect. Our server, Jason, couldn't have been nicer. He was attentive and quick to handle any requests that we had. The place is tastefully decorated with nice lighting and appropriate posters.
