The bacon was undercooked, the burger itself seemed undercooked, and everything looked like it had just been thrown together. For the price, I expected much better quality and presentation. I also ordered the organic house tea thinking it was sweet tea, but it wasn't. On top of that, it came with no ice. The staff did remake it when I asked, so I appreciate that. The reason this review is so difficult is because, despite all of those issues, the burger actually tasted really good. The flavor was there, which made me overlook some of the negatives while I was eating it. That's why I can't rate it any lower than three stars. If this is how it's normally prepared, I wasn't impressed. But if this was just an off day, I'd be willing to give Shake Shack another chance because the taste definitely has potential.
