Super yummy breakfast! The potatoes are so delicious!…read moreOmelets are terrific. Very reasonably priced. I waited to long to check this place out

John & Loreta Family Restaurant is a diner tucked away in a plaza in Parma. If you're a breakfast…read morelover, this diner might be a good fit. They offer breakfast all day. It was the first search that popped up as I was searching for family style meal nearby. And so, I checked out this diner for breakfast. AMBIENCE: Mom and pop diner frozen in time. Think simple decor, worn booths, few dated tables, and mismatched art. The atmosphere is very relaxed and casual. Most guests were local couples. This is a no-frills food-focused experience. FOOD/DRINKS: Orders and payment are accepted at the counter. Your food order is delivered to your table. You will be provided with a tray so that you can later return your plates and cutlery on this tray. The restaurant most offers self-service. The menu is displayed overhead at the counter. The menu is simple, featuring breakfast specials, lunch specials, omelets, and breakfast sandwiches. This diner is very value oriented. You can order a meal for one for around $10, which is now a rarity. I ordered Gyro Cheese Omelet ($9.99), John's Favorite Salad ($6.99), and hot tea ($1.99). Omelet was served with home fries and a piece of toast. Gyro meat is not frozen, there is gyro spit located right behind the counter. The omelet was alright, but not notable. Omelet ingredients were scarce - meat and cheese. John' Favorite Salad seems like a Greek salad - tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, olives, olive oil, and feta. The dish seems not cohesive. It's just very light and lacking flavor. Hot tea was a mug with non-branded tea bag. Black tea only. To me the food was subpar. It wasn't really restaurant quality. It's something you'd expect to eat at someone's home, which might be its own charm. SERVICE: The service is indifferent unless you're a regular. It was heartwarming to see the staff call their regulars by their names. The service is so focused on regulars that at some point the regular cut me off in line. The guest just walked up and stood in front of me in line. I was genuinely amused by this development. I didn't have urgent plans so it wasn't a big deal. The waitress mentioned that he was just picking up an order and I'll be next. All in all, I didn't feel welcome as a new guest. PARKING: There is a large shared plaza parking lot for your convenience. In winter months the parking lot is not well salted, might be icy. This diner is a worthy destination if you're looking for a quick breakfast. It wasn't the best diner food I've tasted, it was just okay. I didn't particularly enjoy any part of my experience. If you're looking for cheap food and low key spot, stop in.

I have been super stressed with uncertainty at my place of employment, state of the world etc…read more.. Came to Jersey Mike's today at lunch with one of my best buddies I have known over 20 years. The staff was fantastic and the sandwich was outstanding. These are solid old school subs. Not sure why the reviews are not 5 star across the board. I am guessing it is because of people using third party delivery apps, Apple Pay and other dystopian stuff that was created to make our life easier yet results in the opposite. Go in, talk to the staff and enjoy your meal! Five stars no doubt! Don't listen to the haters!

I am so frustrated. Let me preface this by saying I worked at JMs for years, managed locations and…read moreeven opened new locations in Texas. I know how a sandwich is supposed to be made, the values of the company, and what is expected of its employees. Today fell short on all aspects. I called in my order over the phone and was very clear with what I wanted. The lady over the phone seemed rude and impatient while taking my order. When I arrived it seemed like the rush just finished, I checked my sandwich before I left and it was incorrect. I had to have it remade, in the mean time 5 more people walked in behind me. I felt bad because now I am holding them up when I was trying to save everyone time by calling ahead. I saw how she cut my meat, it was not flowered, it was flat on the sub. When they went to cut the bread they didn't cut it thru so I had to pull it apart which made a mess later. They wrapped it incorrectly as well, the sandwich leaked ALL OVER MY SEAT. I counted the logos on the paper, there are supposed to be 4, I saw 3. Everything is done with intention at JM and the team is supposed to take pride in their work. A rush is not a reason for subpar product. You are paying for a premium sandwich the experience should be as well. I hate to be this "Karen" but if this was my store NONE of this would have happened. I really hope someone reads this and takes it as an opportunity to empower the team to excellence.

I've seen this place on TV New away Cleveland. So I wanted to try. We happened to be in the area…read moreand decided to try. We wanted a small bite not too much and this ended up being perfect. On the outside it's a big silver diner. Looks smaller than it is. Inside there is a good amount of seating and it's not small. Parking is right out front. We sat and ordered pretty quick. I got the chicken noodle soup and salad. Kathy got the Greek salad with chicken. We both got the Greek dressing. The chicken noodle was homemade with plenty of big carrots, celery, egg noodles and a bit of chicken. It was good. Could have used a bit more chicken but it was full of veggies and tasted good. Plus it was hot. Love it. Salad came and it was a decent size. Also lots of veggies. It was just enough food. And the price was great under $8. The Greek salad could have been a bit larger. I thought it looked a bit skimpy. But Kathy got a whole chicken breast cut up. She sub's out the gyro meat. Again dressing was homemade and really good. The desserts looked super good but we did not partake. The menu is good with Bfast, lunch, dinners. Everything from burgers, sandwiches, pasta. Lots to choose from and prices are decent. Service was good. She was very attentive. Overall, good experience and good quick lunch. I'd go back.

It was ok. My sandwich was on a croissant and that was good…read more My daughter got the chicken paprikash. It smelled weird. I tasted a dumpling and it was not good. She tried to get me to try the chicken but I didn't want to get sick. It smelled like industrial cleaner. The waitress was nice and my daughter got either the pot roast or roast beef. That was okay she said. The onion rings were excellent and the best part of our meal.
