The Margarett Red Zin was decent--slightly peppery and fruity without being too sweet. The crab cake had good flavor, although it wasn't as chunky as I prefer, and the bottled-tasting remoulade didn't help. The Caprese salad seemed to have been introduced to balsamic and olive oil of rather questionable quality. The linguine with chopped clams, garlic, olive oil, parsley and Parmesan arrived less than warm, and the flavors never quite got acquainted. The grilled Mahi Mahi, however, was the bright spot. Well prepared, with mango, tomato, red onion, jalapeño, cilantro and cucumber salsa, finished with sweet Thai chili sauce. Good combination of flavors. We had specifically asked that the courses be served separately. We were assured they would be. They weren't. The appetizers and salads arrived together. Apparently, "separately" has become one of those words open to interpretation. Service otherwise was acceptable. But the restaurant was only about half full. The best part by far was the noodles and veggies -- so flavorful and cooked perfectly. The chicken and shrimp were both great too and you get a ton of food for the price. Overall, such a good value and a really solid hibachi spot. Don't judge it by the outside -- it's definitely worth going in!
